Creative Environments completely redesigned my backyard. The entire process was a breeze. They kept me up to date through everything and the finished product looks way better than I could have hoped for.

What ever you do don't use Dustin Hochhalter as your landscape designer. He has very poor communication skills and is totally unreliable. Our pool project was not only much delayed but without the features we required for sun blocking. He is completely out of his league. Please look elsewhere and save yourself time and money.

We hired them for landscape project that was completed couple weeks back. They were with us every step of the process from design to implementation. They even called to check on us after some time! Thats why I will keep recommending them to my friends and family for their great customer service and professionalism.

The landscaping crew that came to work on our property was extremely professional and friendly. They kept me up to date on progress, issues, and what to expect as the days went by. The final product looks great, couldn't of asked for anything better.

Absolutely amazing work and communication. I expect a lot when working with a company. I never had to ask any questions because they were always 5 steps a head of me. Creative has always done a superior job. Their designs by far are the most unique, creative and beautiful I've seen. I fully trust them every step of the way, the owners run their business with integrity.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Obvious they take on more work they can handle and you are not a priority. Have had several concerns, requests to replace dying plants, sloppy workmanship, all of which have been ignored or “I’m working on it,” with no meaningful follow up. After asking my “senior” designer for the SIXTH time for his supervisor’s contact information, he gave me the front desk phone number. Only reliable communication was in pursuit of payment. Avoid.

We called creative and they came out within the same week to start the design process. They showed us some previous work examples that inspired us for our yard. Working with them was very easy and we love the look of our new yard.

Creative Environments was the chosen subcontractor by my new home builder Toll Bros. for front and back yard landscape and hardscape, should we choose to use them. Well, we did. Not gonna lie, as it wouldn’t be fair, but there were bumps along the way with the process...... some communication breakdowns and such, but the end result looks like something out of Better Homes and Gardens!
Our home was completed this past March, 2019. Now as the plants and trees begin to mature, the property looks AMAZING! Our designer was Brittany Blackwell. Her foresight as it turns out, from just an empty lot and some computer drawings made our yard come alive! The backyard specifically is a super beautiful, private oasis!! She took my idea for a swimming pool and created precisely what I had envisioned. The pool, gas fire sitting area, all the plants, mounds of dirt and tree placement ALL look like money! We could not be any happier. Along the way we shared some tough talks, but it wouldn’t be fair not to share our complete satisfaction here, with the end result. I would post a picture of the final results, but with this past few days of harsh storms, we have some damage that needs tending to.

I read through some of the previous reviews here. There does seem to be a common thread....lack of communication. That was certainly our first issues way back when, but we persevered and could not be happier with Brittany’s fabulous design talents and the outdoor environment we will enjoy for years to come. My neighbors invited us over for a bbq last week to show off their completely renovated back yard. It really did look great and seemed much bigger. After asking them about it they told us Creative Environments designed and implemented it. Monday I'll be calling them to see if they can help redesign my backyard!

Very disappointed in Creative Environments, we had Aaron come out to give us an estimate on designing our back yard. Aaron came out to our home for about an hour, said he would come up with some great ideas and would have something put together for us in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we contacted him and he said it would be a couple more days, after a couple more days he said it would be this weekend, after we made an appointment for the weekend 1/2 hour before the appointment he cancels. We had to initiate every call with Aaron to find out what was going on, and still after rearranging our schedules he still couldn't be bothered with a phone call, we get a text that he wasn't going to make it. Very unprofessional, you would think that someone that was willing to spend $20,000-$30,000 with their company we would get a better class of service then we received.

Creative was very professional from the initial design process through the service caretaking during the 1st year warranty period.
We had just a few requests for plant replacements that died and they were quick to replace them.
They helped with all questions and concerns and resolved all concerns to our satisfaction.
I would definitely recommend them for your landscape design and planting.

We were having some issues with the irrigation programming system, as well as some in ground lighting. Jason Secrist came out and did an incredible job of educating us about the system, programming the irrigation system properly, as well as addressing the in ground lighting issues we were having. He was on time, very professional and very willing to help in any way we needed. Creative Environments and all of their customers can feel very confident that Jason will get the job done!!

I am a property manager that used Creative Environment for the last three years. During that time they transformed the condominium property at LegacyGolf Course from just OK to a vibrant, blooming and exceptionally well maintained community. Tyler is the head of the maintenance division and was well informed, communicative and responsive. I’ve read some negative reviews that defy any experience I had with them for over 36 months. There’s something to be said for a company in business in the valley for over 70 years. I would recommend them as aPhoenician for over 30 yrs.

I have never made a review before but have had such a bad experience I feel compelled to. We are building a home and this company was a preferred vendor. The only reason we went with them was the appeal of getting work done before we closed. We picked our materials, signed contracts in december of 2021. They waited until May of 2022 to order materials and have delayed the entire project. Not only did they order late, they didn’t order enough materials. We are closing in 2 weeks and they won’t be finished because we have to wait for materials they should’ve ordered right the first time. I’d also like to add our project consists of tiling/pavers, turf, and plants. There is absolutely nothing complex about our project and it will end up taking them months to complete. Absolutely ridiculous. My husband and I wish so badly we waited until close and picked a landscaping company that is reputable. They are so unprofessional and so unapologetic about this entire thing and take no accountability. Do yourself a favor and pick a different company.

Creative did a great job on our overall plan and execution of getting our backyard landscape, pool, spa, and hardscape completed just how we wanted it. Jeremy was awesome to work with from the start and stuck with us throughout the entire process beginning with conceptual design and ending with a solid plan . Ryan, Joel, Kylee, and Alyssa were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable in how they followed up on the things that needed addressed. The communication with Creative has ALWAYS been top notch. I can't think of any company that is perfect in all that they do, however Creative responded to the issues we had in a timely and professional manner and that is what makes them a great company! Nice work team and thanks for making this a fun and rewarding experience for us.

A designer came out in December, we had a good chat, she said she'd get back to us after the holidays. After several attempts to contact her, she answered our call in early March. She admitted she let us down, said she would have a different designer take over. A week later we received an email from a different designer who said she was looking forward to working with us. We responded back to her that we were anxious to move forward. Never heard from her again. So we pivoted to MasterAZScapes. They've proven to be everything Creative Environments wasn't - professional, responsive, great people to work with. The designs were very thoughtful, and contained many delightful elements
