Our designer, Mandie, was excellent. She gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted, and stayed engaged and helpful throughout the project.

Two of our neighbors were doing similar backyard projects at the same time with different companies, so we had a good basis for comparison. Poco Verde’s crews were by far the most professional—everyone we interacted with was friendly, respectful, and seemed to care about their work.

That said, our project took much longer than expected. While our neighbors’ projects were completed in about 5 and 9 days, ours stretched out to more than 35 days. There were many days when only one or two installers were on site, and other days when no work happened at all.

Our project manager, Chris, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and he offered good solutions when issues came up. Unfortunately, the scheduling and communication about when crews would be working were inconsistent, which made the process frustrating.

In the end, we’re glad to have the backing and warranty of an established, reputable company, but we were disappointed with how long the installation took and how much follow-up was needed along the way.

We enjoyed working with Poco Verde. We started with a general idea for our new backyard and Mandie helped us design it. The quick renderings helped us visualize the end result. She even helped us with plant choices that would work well in a desert environment. The crew that implemented the plan did an awesome job. We have pavers for patio and walkways, a firepit, desert-friendly plants nestled in a rock landscape and beautifully implemented artificial turf.

We had a great experience with this company. We just purchased a Fulton home and had Poco Verde do our front and back yard landscaping. The process was easy, communication was good, and the orientation (how to use the irrigation system) was so helpful! We had one concern pretty early on and Luis assisted so quickly!

Poco Verde Landscaping is an exceptional company. Deanna in the Office, supervisor Luis, the team that worked on my yard and the materials they used were all excellent. What a professional, hard-working and customer friendly team. They delivered the exact yard that we wanted in very reasonable time, our dogs (and the humans) love it and the price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend this company for all your landscaping needs.

John Owens as the main contact for landscaping design and sales is very responsive, professional and respectful. He answered all our questions and concerns with helpful information in time. We went back and forth for our design with John and revised the design for more than 20 times before signing the contract. Poco Verde also was the only company that would be willing to give us the design without charging us. All the other landscaping companies asked for a design fee to be paid upfront. Therefore, we truely appreciated John's patience to listen to our needs and helped us achieve what we were looking for.

Besides, the project started quickly as planned. Ben Mueller as the superintendent was very responsive as well. All our concerns were addressed quickly by the crew with his coordination.

We are happy with the work delivered by the concrete team and the landscaping crew.

Overall, it has been a successful project. We will work with PocoVerde for any new landscaping projects. We also recmmended Poco Verde to our friends.

I had a great experience with Poco Verde completing plant and turf replacement at my home. Jen was extremely helpful with scheduling services and kept communication clear and consistent throughout the process. Luis, the superintendent, was also fantastic—very responsive, quick with solutions, and always focused on great customer service. The whole team was professional and easy to work with. The landscaping project was done in a matter of hours; the team was highly efficient and courteous of my property in the backyard. We absolutely loved working with Peggy McClain on the designs and Ricardo Sanchez on the installation of our front and rear landscaping/patios/putting green for our new home! They are both so talented, professional, warm, caring, honest, trustworthy, and patient (thank goodness lol) and turned our dirt into a beautiful, serene oasis we are so proud of and love relaxing in.

I can not say enough about the staff and Poco Verde as a company. I moved to Arizona in June 2025. When we found our home (new build), it did not have a pool (my requirement). We were handed a flyer with Poco Verde details and some pricing for a pool / landscape cost. Surprisingly, it was reasonable. When we recived our approval for the home, I cc called same day and left a message. Within an hour, I recived a call back from Deanna. She asked some questions and followed up with an email. With details of the backyard (layout and dimensions), Deanna was able to send me 2 quotes within a week. 2 weeks after we moved into our house, we were meeting Deanna in person and finalizing our backyard. She provided us with financing options and all the details we needed for the bank. Once approved and permits were obtain, we were contacted by David Battock with details of our constructionand timeline. From that day on, he was on it. He communicated minimally once a week. Everything went smoothly (except the weather). Everyone from the day of contact was pleasant to work with. I strongly recommend Poco Verde for everything backyard. The landscape is phenomenal and I am in love with my pool. They even finished the yard early.

I recently worked with Poco Verde Pools and Landscape, Inc. on our backyard project, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. John was fantastic to work with—professional, communicative, and detail-oriented from start to finish.

The turf looks incredibly realistic and is completely maintenance-free. The pavers were installed perfectly and add a clean, modern touch to the yard. The decorative rocks tie everything together beautifully, adding texture and contrast.

John, Luis, and his crew were on time, respectful, and left the job site clean. The entire process was smooth, and the transformation exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Poco Verde for anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space! I cannot wait to complete phase two with them as well which will be our beautiful pool!

I choose Poco Verde after receiving 6 different quotes for the same general design. The main reason was Poco Verde was the only company to discuss and include proper drainage in their proposal. They were not the cheapest, which was not my main goal. After they were selected, John worked with us to refine our design, improve the overall flow and walked us through the entire plant and tree selection process. In addition, he worked with us through several iterations of the design to get the entire project into our budget. The turf, rock, and paver selection was all done in person at their Tempe Office. I was easy to make selections based on real physical samples installed outside in the sun at their Tempe office. Construction took a bit longer to get started once contract was signed but the install went quick once started and overall we were impressed with the final result. They did not take the final 50% of payment until we were completely happy with every final detail.

Easy to find what you need and the staff was helpful but not very friendly.

I was unhappy that they had pots of flowers with a sign that said price was $9.99 but when checking out, they said price was $34.00.
