Not even a one star. He does not keep his word or make he doesn't have a clock. Promises without fulfilling if he's late he doesn't even have the common courtesy to call he appointments. Very unprofessional.

A complete waste of time and money. Plans took much longer than promised and lacked specificity in many areas. Alex needs his hand held throughout the entire process. I could go on and on. Look elsewhere for a draftsman

Alex completed the design and redesign of our project per our specifications. He was also very knowledgeable about the County building ordinances and rules about appliances

In 2018, I used CADman Designs to convert a 2nd floor porch into an enclosed sunroom extension to our master bedroom suite. The space is about 400 sf. We wanted the space to have large windows to maximize the views of the Catalina mountains and downtown Tucson. The firm completed the package with electrical, HVAC, fireplace, with extra insulation, wind loading, structural load calculations included within 4 weeks as promised. The contractor was able to build the space to the prints as designed. The price was reasonable, and all permits were attained with no required modifications. My wife and I are really enjoying this new addition, and have received several complements from friends and family. My experience with CADman Designs was very positive, and comes highly recommended.

Alex was very accommodating and incorporated all of our wants and wishes into the design of our dream home and it came out beautiful, we plan on using him to design our guest house to match.

I have worked with many architects over the years and want to be completely honest about our interaction with Alex. Alex did not listen to us when we attempted to work with him. The plans provided did not represent what we asked for at all. In fact in the 30 years I have been involved in building or rebuilding homes and properties nation wide I cannot compare our recent experience to anything other than the worst experience I have ever been a part of. I can only hope I can absorb that extended cost element within a upcoming lawsuit that I am looking forward to.

I am an owner/builder and I’ve only built one house before, about 20 years ago, so I don’t have a lot of experience with different draftsmen as a comparison, but I’ve been pretty happy working with Alex. I’m building a 4000 sq. ft house and a 2000 sq. ft. garage, so it took a little longer than I thought to get the plans finished. However, he’s been pretty responsive and helpful during the process. It also took a long time to get the plans approved through the City of Tucson, but it was in the middle of the pandemic, so that wasn’t Alex’s fault. In fact, there were very few changes that the city required after Alex submitted the drawings for approval. I am in the process of building right now and all the sub-contractors that I have worked with so far have said that his drawings were complete and easy to understand. He has also been very helpful about answering questions and making small changes to the drawings even though I paid him in full and he has not charged me any additional fees to do so. I would work with Alex again on a future project.

On several occasions now, Alex has done the plans for houses and guest houses that I have built. He has always been excellent. The plans are always completed in a timely manner, and he follows up, if needed, with revisions for the City. I highly recommend his services. He is creative, imaginative, and diligent when creating the design plan for a project. He is as good, or better, than most architectural firms that I know of.

We used Cadman Designs to create our new home plans. Alex was recommended to us by a couple different builders. He was easy to work with, responsive to our calls and emails and understood our design needs and wants. From our first meeting to receiving our approved building permit was about 4 1/2 months!

Alex helped us come up with a simple and efficient design for our new home and casita. During construction he handled permitting always right away and we never had any hold ups.
