If you need a small job done like a pool pump replaced or repaired, Arizona pool is very good for that.

However, if you need a large job done, like replastering your pool, you do NOT want to use Arizona pool and pond.
I was never informed when the contractors were going to arrive until they actually showed up at my door early in the morning.
Two weeks after the pool was completed, I noticed a piece of rusted rebar sticking out of the plaster. For 3 weeks I reached out to Arizona pool by phone and by text. I did not get a response. The repair was not resolved
After 4 weeks, I was able to get a plaster company to come out and do the repair.
Do not expect good customer service with this company, because it is not in their vocabulary.
So my rating is as follows:

This company stands above the rest in their ability to troubleshoot and fix pool equipment problems (which multiple other companies were unable to figure out!) and maintain a great pool system. Scott really knows his stuff. The pool service is reliable and keeps our pool looking great. We also purchased a hot tub from them which we love. Trista was extremely helpful through the whole process, including proactively helping us take care of all maintenance needs, long after installation is complete. I love supporting small business, and this one is definitely worth supporting!

I have used AZ Pool & Pond in the past and recently required there services again. After speaking to Amy, she had a tech. showing up the very next day. Lori & Jake along with Steve teamed up and eliminated my problem in a few hours. Reasonably priced and excellent work......

We have used this company for over 10 years. Their technicians do a thorough job with regular cleaning and maintenance, and are conscientious about alerting us to any issues they notice. We also had them install solar pool heating at our previous house, and were very pleased with the results. Owners Scott and Steve are responsive to problems and bigger repair issues, and the office staff is friendly and efficient. We had no hesitation about using them again when we moved and built a new pool. Recommend highly.

Arizona Pool & Pond goes WAY above and beyond the call of duty to service our pool! They are professional, responsive, and proactive in tackling potential issues. In addition, we are part-time residents, and their team has, on more than one occasion, let us know about potential issues in our yard not at all related to the pool. We appreciate your exceptional service as well as all the other ways you look out for our family!

AZ Pool and Pond are the best! We have an older waterfall/pond feature and they fixed it up real nice. They are transparent on their pricing and they show up on-time and do the job right.

I have been asked by AZPoolandPond to post a review. I was reluctant to do so but do want to share my experience so that others can be aware of their marketing tactics and work ethics. First of all, the actual estimate and final invoice amounts did not match. A very odd business practice to increase the amount in the invoice and itemize it as though a discount was being offered when in fact there was none. On to the work ethics. The pump filter installer arrived three hours late, did not complete the job, Although he was almost done, he left when a moderate rainfall began and returned the next day. The installer could have completed the job had he not chatted excessively about the fact he was a helicopter pilot. When my pool turned green a week later, I asked for an inspection to insure the installation had been properly done by the helicopter pilot. Sonny said she would schedule one. That fell by the wayside only to have Trista call me and insist we pay them to empty and clean the pool. I was told by Trista, at the office, the installer had taken pictures of his job, that Scott reviewed and apparently said the job was fine. It was impossible over of the course of three phone calls to actually communicate with Trista about these concerns as she never heard what was being said to her because she incessantly talked over me during most of the calls. There's more, I could go on, but I'll leave it to your imagination.

I’ve been using Arizona Pool company for my personal pool as well as having them do pool inspections for my clients for over 18 years. I can’t remember a single complaint, just the opposite actually. Most of client’s continue using Arizona Pool company after closing. The office staff are all wonderful, very accommodating and prompt with reports. When I had my pool re plastered with them, Trista was all over it! All I had to do was pick out my tile and give her the numbers and it was done. 5 stars!! Great company.

Great service! Rain or shine, he is here, checking my pool. The pictures and the data of what was done, and chemicals in the pool is a bonus. No more asking if the "pool guy was here". Pictures prove he was. If you are losing confidence in your present pool service company.. I recommend you give these folks a try. I think you will be happy with them.

Fantastic customer service and very easy to communicate! I was referred by an existing client who’ve been using them for a very long time. I’m very happy to have found this company for all my pool needs.

The crew of Lori and Edrik arrived on time and worked tirelessly through the afternoon. Later another crew member stopped by to lend then a hand with the clean up. They took special care to insure my 12 large Goldfish including the many Mosquito Fish were all well cared for during removal from my pond into a holding tank and then later with the fish reintroduction to my freshly overhauled pond. These people were meticulous in their work including the spotless clean up after everything was back in place. Lori in particular is very knowledgable of pond biology and freely shared it with me as she worked. I will not hesitate to call Arizona Pool & Pond Company in the future.

Great store with a very helpful staff. They were able to answer all my questions and the pond liner I purchased worked out wonderfully. Highly recommended.

What started out as a leak in the pool turned into a complete renovation of our 17 year old pool. Once the leak was detected, Matt (who works harder than a one-legged pole dancer!) started the excavation and resolved all three leaks (that were fortunately all in the same general area under the concrete), The chip-out of the original plaster surface was done in 1/2 a day, the tile work (shout out to Juan at JD Pool and Remodel Tile LLC!) came out BEAUTIFUL, and the new electronics (thanks Steve!) and lighting was installed by the rest of the team.

Gael, Trista, and Sunny kept me informed and were extremely supportive of our needs (daughter graduated from UofA, gotta have a party!), and Scott put up with my texts on a Sunday when another leak was detected (fortunately before the hole was filled in).

I don't "STRONGLY RECOMMEND" too often, but Arizona Pool and Pond Company has their stuff together, and I'll use them again in another 17 years! Thanks!!

Awesome job on installing our new pump! From the time I called they had the pump installed in 3 days! The staff was very friendly and responsive! I tried calling many other companies that just stood me up. I would recommend this company to everyone! Awesome work!

Jacob and Edrick (spelling) were not only kind, hard working, knowledgeable, but they went beyond to give us advise, encouragement and laughs! They worked incredibly hard on a difficult pond and we are sooo happy with the job. WELL DONE.

The Az Pond crew are doing a great job of renovating my pond. On day 1 they caught all of the critters and put them in huge tanks with aerators running and covers to keep the fish, crayfish, frogs, turtles, shrimp and polywogs safe and healthy. On day 2 they discovered that my ponds liner is in serious need of replacement. Now they are preparing the pond to put in a new liner. They keep their equipment organized, they tidy up around the pond each evening before they leave, and they are careful not to damage the plants which are growing around the pond. I am very happy with the crew, the work, and Scott’s plan for my ponds needed improvements..

Laurie built our pond and has maintained it for years. She has the feng shui thing going on. She moves the rocks around until it meets her satisfaction. She always does a great job. Laurie's son Jake is always eager to please. He is a very conscientious and hard working young man.

We had had a difficult time finding someone who was willing to come repair and clean out our pond/waterfall. It was green and gross for months! Thank you Steve for braving the high temperatures and working hard to get everything cleaned out and working again! Excellent work! Will have them continue to clean it regularly! We’d definitely recommend this company,

I had a fantastic experience with Arizona Pool & Pond company. I reached out to Amy, who quickly arranged for Scott to assess my fountain, which had a malfunctioning pump after seven years and required a new check valve. Scott arrived on time, was pleasant, and worked efficiently. Amy handled the quote and all scheduling seamlessly. While they may not be the cheapest option, the exceptional service, clear communication, and extensive knowledge provided are well worth the cost.
