I’ve never had a pool built before. Pools I’ve had were already part of the homes I’ve lived in. 1st Choice Pools can highly recommend to me at the local Home Show by venders at various pool cleaning companies. Simply because we are new to Tucson/Marana and knew no one and read many horror stories online people had with other companies. From the moment we spoke to them we were impressed with the pictures of projects they’ve done, the details in the process and the total price of the project. 34 years on Active Duty in the Military and it’s safe to say my standards are exacting and 1st Choice did not disappoint. From beginning to end their kindness and professionalism was outstanding. They were always in contact with me every step of the way and answered every question I ever had about everything. Their team of employees are exactly that. A real team committed to doing their very best and you know this is true when you see them complete something and congratulate each other like a sports team as they look over their work and smile with real pride. I’m home each day so I watched it all each and every day. My pool and spa turned out better than we ever could of hoped for. My family and I strongly recommend 1st Choice Pools they really did make our dream come true.

My pool project was one of the ones screwed over by the Imperial Pools fiasco. 1st Choice Pools was recommended to me by a plaster company that I was talking to in order to get the pool completed. Almost no company wanted to help me out. However, Daniel came out and talked to me. He gave me a game plan and some ideas on how to save some money because I'm basically paying twice for everything. I cannot praise Daniel enough for his help and the quality of work he and his team did. He communicated every step of the way and was always available for my questions. I now use 1st Choice Pools for servicing my pool every week and don't have to worry about anything. I cannot praise Daniel and his company enough for the help they provided me. 1st Choice Pools did a great job constructing our pool and were very happy with the end result. Like all major projects, there were a few glitches along the way. HOWEVER, this company distinguished itself by living-up to their commitment to address and resolve any concerns we had IMMEDIATELY. When we noticed that our fresh water inlet wasn't functioning properly, their crew showed up the next day and dug it all up and installed a new system without hesitation or complaint. Taking the time to do the job right is a rare experience these days. Kudos to all the folks at 1st Choice Pools👍

I've used 1st choice Pools for more than a decade. From the owner, Daniel, to the employees, I've found everyone associated with the company professional, knowledgeable, friendly, reliable, and thorough.
About six years ago, 1st Choice was my first choice to resurface my pool - the work was excellent and is holding up beautifully. Most recently, Corina has done weekly pool maintenance. She's fantastic, and I especially appreciate her excellent communication skills as well as pool expertise. Five stars to this exceptional company across the board!

We had an excellent experience with 1st Choice Pools. Daniel came out promptly to get us a quote, which was very reasonable compared to the other quotes we received. As soon as we signed the document and made the first payment we were on the schedule. The project (chip, add lagoon, tile, and micro pebble tec for a 25000 gallon pool) only took a month to complete. And that was working around our schedule since we had a week in the middle of the project when we weren't available. Estrella was easy to work with on the business side with frequent updates and also helped us find plumbing fixtures for our almost 50 year old pool. Highly recommended.

We are in the last stages of building a pool with 1st Choice Pools Building & Design. After contacting many companies and meeting with them (which was exhausting and time consuming) I called 1st Choice and within minutes I was talking to Devin, the lead designer. I told him time was of the essence and he met us at the house within a day or two. We were struck by his professionalism, sincerity, warmth, patience, and willingness to help us from start to finish. We knew we would be in good hands with Devin.
As a Realtor in CA, I have done many remodel projects for clients, but never built a pool. I knew our budget was tight because I was told that by the companies we met with previously. The next step, within a few days, was to go into the office and go over the design, tile choices, financial details, etc. It was so refreshing to sit down with the owners of the company, Daniel and Leanne, and hash it out.
They have been great to work with, meeting all project deadlines and answering our many questions. Huge thanks to Estrella, the office manager who has kept one step ahead of us and maintained open and efficient communication. So far so great, and I will be updating with pictures once the project is finished.

His design for our pool was creative, well thought out and exactly what we were looking for. He also took the time to come back out to our residence to confirm measurements, access, and appropriate procedures. The owner, Daniel Campos, also came out to ensure project integrity and cost. First Choice should be your Last Choice when choosing a pool company. We wanted our pool upgraded from plaster to mini-pebble and was told by the company that it was a simple project that would take 3 weeks. The owner came out and told us everything he would do unfortunately it never happened. First mimi-pebble they smeared so had to be done again. Garbage left all over yard from workers when they did come out. Products in the original quote never completed. I was told by owner that after project he would come out and review everything he did and leave us the warranty information and instruction booklet for products purchased. Never done. Was told that they would give us a new chlorine float and was given a dirty one. This after spending a lot of money. We communicated everything and all we received was apologies and the time it took to upgrade the pool took a lot longer. then promised. I have never sent a review before but I was so unhappy with the work that I wanted to warn people. Buyer beware.

Our backyard was nothing but pea gravel. I had a vision for a small free-form pool. After consulting with 3 different pool companies, we chose 1st Choice because everyone we met with were so nice and knowledgeable. I really liked that the salesman, Steven, showed us a slideshow that included pictures of the "messiness" that can be expected during the process of having a pool built. There were no surprises. We were told it would take 3 to 5 months, and it was completed in 3 1/2 months. Just a couple of very minor glitches along the way, that were immediately addressed by Steve, the supervisor. And now that it's completed we, and our grandchildren, are thoroughly enjoying this beautiful oasis in our backyard. We had concerns about how the pump worked, and Daniel, the owner, came out and gave us another very thorough walk thru of our pump. We are very, very pleased.

We had a really great experience with 1st Choice Pools. We got a total of 4 quotes, we ultimately chose them because they had an answer for all of our questions, seemed very knowledgeable, and didn't try and rip us off. They are also a small business.

For our design, we wanted a simple rectangle with a Baja step and umbrella holder, and later adjusted to add a waterfall. They were so helpful every step of the way. I was nervous about the pavers and turf in my yard getting ruined, but they did a wonderful job protecting it all as best as they could. Their timeline was also very realistic, they showed up when they said they would, and all of their contractors were friendly. I really have to credit Tim, the project manager, he set the expectation and explained what the yard would look like in the interim, the timeline, and how everything goes. I'm noticing some of the reviews are mentioning a mess or trash but it's a construction zone, so expectations are really everything here. When all was said and done, my yard was clean and put back.

The office manager, Estrella, is wonderful. She was so responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. They also walked me through financing, which I had never done before, they provided information and helped to point me in the direction of who they've found to be the easiest to work with.

Overall, they did an outstanding job and I am so beyond happy with our pool and the job they did, it's perfect!

This is a terrific company to assist with all of your pool plans! They do beautiful work and added many helpful features in the design process. I highly recommend 1st Choice Pools to anybody looking for assistance in building their dream pool!
