This monsoon season my roof was damaged by a vicious rain storm and it began to take on water. My family and I couldn't pinpoint the exact spot where the water was coming from but thanks to the team at Blass Roofing, they were able to find the spot and correct the issue. It has rained since then and there hasn't been any more leaks! Blass Roofing did a great job and they were very professional!

I was in a desperate situation to get a metal roof repaired on a residential home with a closing date fast approaching.
All the roofers in town were booked up. Sorry.
Tammy and Gabby in the office at Blass Roofing treated me as an individual and not as a usual customer. They watched along the way and did what they could to get my roof repaired by fitting me in between other scheduled jobs. They were timely, accommodating and responsive - more than I've ever experienced with other vendors in my real estate career.
The job was finished on time, I was consistently kept in the loop and the guys did a great job. Wow, I highly recommend Blass!!

I hesitated to write this review, because typically people only write reviews when there was an issue, but I feel Crest's reviews are a bit too rosey for the service I received.

I had my whole roof redone this time, and I've had Crest do small repairs in the past. Small jobs have been done very well, and the quality of work is good. They've always been responsive in the past, which made this expirience odd.

Response times were slow in general. We waited almost a month after paying half and when they told us the work would begin before even being contacted. Then the roofing guys took multiple weeks for a job that, I believe, should have been completed in a week, 2 weeks tops.

I was the one who had to point out missing work in the quote, which should have been examined before beginning work. The person on the phone was very pushy about payment, which I paid cash when appropriate. 1 day notice IS NOT enough time.

Price wise I believe they're a bit on the high side. Liability insurance was important to me, and I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I was willing to pay a bit more to work with someone I'd had good work done with before.

Most of the issues I faced were communication related, and the staff does always seem knowledgeable and competent about roofing things in particular. Overall, as long as my new roof holds up, I'd probably use Crest again because trustworthy contractors are so hard to find, but there is definite room for improvement.

After a severe "summer monsoon" in Tucson, Az., the roof on my sister's house took a terrible beating. I contacted Mike Blass of Blass Roofing and inquired about necessary repairs. Mike immediately accompanied me to my sister's home and assessed the damage. He informed me what necessary repairs needed to be done. As I had already obtained several estimates, I decided to have Blass Roofing perform the necessary repairs. The work crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time. All of the workers were professionally dressed, and immediately began their job. I am very pleased to report that they were very courteous to myself and family members There were other hard rains after the repairs and I am pleased to say the roof held up flawlessly. I would highly recommend Blass Roofing for your roofing needs.

We called several roofing companies and their estimates were ridiculously over priced and many were unable to come to our residence until many weeks after. A friend referred us to Blass Roofing and they were able to come to our home and give us an estimate the following day. They gave us a terrific price and were able to start the work right away.The staff did a great job and were very knowledgable when we had questions. I highly recommand Blass Roofing for a great price, friendly staff and wonderful results.

I started off having a great experience but it quickly turned negative. The installation was fast and efficient and I was pleased with how fast is was done. We had discussed what needed done such as color of shingles and the ply wood that needed replacing as it was rotting. Unfortunately during the final inspection, it was noticed that NONE of the wood had been replaced, none of the vents had been painted and the workers left shingles hanging off the side of the house and there was garbage everywhere. I am very disappointed in the quality of the work and the deceit that happened with the wood replacement. We had to ask for another day for them to come out to replace the wood that should have been done the first time. Ask for photos to prove work has been done appropriately.

I had the fascia of my house replaced. Very well done, on time, done quickly and for a great price. They also inspected the roof, found and fixed problems, and applied 2 new elastomer coatings. I am totally happy with their work and highly recommend them.

I am a real estate agent here in Tucson, and am always careful with whom I choose to recommend to clientele. I have been using the Blass Roofing company for nearly 20 years now. They are, and have always been, a very upstanding and reliable firm providing quality work, clean up, follow up and diagnoses on the fly when you need 'em most. I have never hesitated to recommend them with confidence! I have enjoyed using their services personally, as well. They service all roof types, and have a huge cache of experience. These guys were awesome! This was our first ever roof replacement on the first house that we bought. Naturally , we had a lot of questions to be answered. I am so glad that we went with Crest. We did the whole 3 estimates thing and Crest came in so much lower than the competition. I actually had to call Crest and ask why. We walked through the estimate that they wrote and compared it to the competition and Crest was doing everything that they were, just at a lower cost. I travel a lot for work and they were able to stay in contact with me via email throughout the entire process. (Thank you, Tammy!). We had an opportunity to speak with the owner and he gave us some very good, no nonsense advice, as to why the 50 year non-prorated warranty was a must (Buy it. Seriously, it was the best $200 that we've ever spent). The crew was efficient, professional and very communicative. Now that our roof is good for the next 50 years, I hope that we never have to buy another house. But, if we do, and there is roof work needed, we are skipping the 3 estimates rule and going straight to Crest.

I would like to say that I had a pleasant experience with Blass Roofing. After speaking to the Representative, we set up a day for them to come out to give me an estimate, which was affordable. They were honest and did the job they promised. I would recommend them to anyone who is having roof leak problems.

I hired them April of 2019 to replace a few facia boards, patch up where it needed to be patched on my roof and cleaned and resurfaced for $2,700 for my 1,440 sq ft home. Everything was fine until the end. I checked my own roof to see if the job was actually done and done well and it was not. It took 3 separate times for them to bring somone back to finish it and finish it well. Each time I checked it, until finally, they had their senior guy come out and do it properly. For something that was suppose to only take 3 days, the back and forth of scheduling, it took a month for the final finish of the job. When it came time to pay the other half of $2,700 I felt like a discount was definitely the right thing to do for dealing with a terrible crew to begin with and having my solar panels off for a month. I have since had 2 leaks from the roof since they finished the job. First one was fixed, still waiting on them to call me back to fix my current one. For a roofing job that ended up costing me $2,200 (plus the cost of having to take my solar panels off) I felt like I definitely over paid after looking at other estimates roofers gave me with the same 3 year warranty. The whole reason I went with them was because at the time they had really nice pictures of their work and a 4.8 rating. Hopefully they call me back soon and fix the roof that they already fixed before the next rain.

Jeff and his crew did a terrific job on my old and badly leaking roof. It took a while to get the company to send a crew to our house to do the job because they are were backed up, holiday season, and the rainy season held them up. However I'm glad I booked them because they did a good job! Very courteous and professional. They accomplished a lot in a day's work. I appreciate how Jeff paid attention to the quality of the re-roofing work done by himself and his team. Also while making repairs they were thoughtful in making fixes look aesthetically good on my house. I was very pleased with the work and my roof is now better than before. I would recommend them.

Blass Roofing was quick and courteous in response to my request for a roof bid. I had clients that were nervous about the condition and type of roof. Blass arrived early and after inspecting the roof took the time to explain to my clients all about the kind of roof, the condition and the maintenance required. They went above and beyond...it was an early weekend and with not much notice. Other times I have called and they always respond quickly, make thorough reports and estimates, and work within the client's budget. Their estimates match the completed invoice! They are neat and clean on the job site. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

We used Crest for replacement of our 20-year old 3-tab asphalt shingle roof with new architectural shingles. Wayne was very responsive with excellent communication throughout. He came out within a few days of calling and sent us the estimate before he left he driveway! He was among the most competitive of the six estimates we received and we went with his company because he was very upfront about the whole process. The guys finished the roof in two days and it looks great, they even did nice finishing touches like spraying the vents white. Wayne ensured that everything was completed and cleaned up at the end. Very pleased with the work!

TLDR-
DO NOT use this company if you need your roof work completed according to their schedule.

Everything began well with timely estimates and communication to schedule repairs. Made a deposit and was scheduled 2 weeks out. Then communication went dark... Called after they didn't show at the scheduled date and was told it would be another 2 weeks due to rain. (It hasn't been raining!). They did refund my deposit after I had to call them when they didn't show up. Luckily I paid the deposit with a credit card and that also offers some kind of protection. I would be hesitant to send this company cash for the deposit. I can only imagine how difficult that would be to get refunded. Hopefully they get their scheduling figured out and communication with customers improves.

Excellent response time from the very beginning to the end of the project. A Crest representative inspected our entire roof and gave us a very thorough explanation of what was causing our leaks. My wife and I decided to go with them not only for our repairs, but also to change out our old clay tile to cement tile roof. We were updated every step of the way, never feeling left in the dark. The crew doing the work was polite and worked quickly. Great job, Great company! We would highly recommend Crest Roofing to others in need of tile roof repairs or replacement. I would give them 0 stars if possible. We worked with them and they were *horrible*. They were incredibly unprofessional, did shoddy work (for example, the new roofing material didn't go to the actual edge of the roof), & we ended up with a new leak where there wasn't one before - and in some ways the biggest problem was that their communication was worse than bad. I looked into filing a formal complaint with the BBB but the process is lengthy and my family received a cancer diagnosis at the same time so we didn't have the stomach for some long procedure. Their roofing crew had a personality conflict with our renter, the decided they hated him, but they could have addressed that totally professionally, along with the point-by-point list of shoddy workmanship, and resolved it quickly and simply. Instead they repeatedly stank at communication, escalated the situation, and we finally got to the point where we just gave up and tried to cut our losses and move on. I spoke to the owner a couple times, and at first I tried to be sympathetic because he said his wife was having some medical challenges of her own, however he then *yelled at me* about my tenant (I never raised my voice once through this process), and NEVER did he address the point-by-point, photo-documented problems his crew had created. We agreed to speak directly for follow-up to avoid any personality issues between his crew and my tenant, but he then did not follow through on his end when I contacted him again. And look, I'm a reasonable person, I was totally willing to listen that maybe the bent over nails & weird damage spots in the new roofing maybe were not actually problems for the seal of the roof, and that the damage to the cables and conduits, the oil stains and tar smears, were just part of the normal hazards of getting roofing work done. But a new leak, where one did not exist before, is kinda unarguably a sign of not-great work. And instead of calm reasoned discussion about it all, or any clear responses to emails, I was met with belligerence at every turn. Our interactions with this company were the most unprofessional and unpleasant of any I've experienced. In an additional twist, the house - which has security bars on every window and door, and has never previously been robbed (and was my family's home until just months prior) - then was broken into *right* at this time of conflict, in what the police called a "clearly targeted burglary" and our renter's tools were all stolen, as were his wife's family jewelry. Of course we have no way of knowing who did it. It's enough to make me think twice about posting this review, frankly, but I don't want another family to have the same horrible experience as we did - it disrupted months of our family's happiness. *I* have cancer now (and young kids, which is really a bummer), and the stress of working with this company I am *sure* made my tumor grow faster. We worked with another roofing company on a roof leak on our casita and the difference in experience was night and day. Protect yourself from a potentially stressful and unpleasant experience.

My company has used them a few times and the reoccurring theme is that, initially they show up quickly to check out the problem. It will then take a week to over a month to get the estimate from them and they may or may not show up to actually do the work. I had to call three times for the last job because they no called, no showed their appointment. We ended up getting the parts and doing the work ourselves.

What my experience with Crest roofing contractor was not very good. They work fast but the quality of the work very poor. They replace the shingles of my house, the way they installed it were not lay out properly. Some of them were lifting not flat and nails were underneath it. They were popping out and pushing the shingles up.after they were finish they left behind a lot of the nails on the ground. They did not clean up and someone might step on those nails and have accident especially if there’s kids playing around the house. I notified the in charge person he sent a person that suppose to fix the shingles but the worse thing he made it worse taking the shingle out and not replace it. The 2nd time I notify the in charge person he was ignoring my calls and wouldn’t answer my messages. I call the main office to complain about the situation and talk to the higher managers or the owner they will not give you any information. I took pictures of the installation they made and send them the pictures . They are not very honest either, they just lied and they have bad attitude. When the foremam came
He didn’t even inspect 100 percent of there work .he just look and said they did good. Not even? I was not happy with the job they did . I would not recommend this company to my family or neither friends or colleagues. Hopefully next time they would do better on the next future customer.
