A to Z Mobile RV Services is an excellent business that we highly recommend. We saw Chris installing an RV Solar system on one of our favorite RV Youtuber's channel. We had an electrical problem that we could not solve and he came out to our home and found and fixed the issue. We liked Chris so much that we decided to have him upgrade our RV with a Solar System as well.
He did an excellent job and we could not be happier. He took over an hour explaining how everything works and labeled all the devices so we would know how to use the system. We will definitely call Chris with A to Z Mobile RV Services again for any of our future needs with the RV.

What a fantastic experience! Chris and Todd did a great job on my Arctic Fox fifth wheel. They are very knowledgeable which made explaining the new system a breeze. They were great communicators and extremely accommodating to my schedule!!

Very satisfied with the work A to Z Mobile RV Services accomplished on our RV. I was excited to find a solar installer in Tucson AZ that installed on recreation vehicles. After I contacted Chris, we discussed the project. Feeling confident with his ability, we moved forward. He installed: 1600 watts of solar (two 400 watt panels and four 200 watt panels that are tiltable); Victron Energy equipment including a MultiPlus-II 12v 3000 VA Inverter, two MPPT 150/60 solar charge controllers, Cerbo GX, and GX Touch 50; associated wiring, fuses, breakers, cut-off switches. He also added SoftStartRV soft starts to both air conditioners. Friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and quality work all describe Chris. Trained at the RV Training Academy.

Chris is very experienced and uses high quality parts. He can make good recommendations for how to build your system without making it seem like an “upsell”. He arrived on time to complete the work and did it for the projected budget. His craftsmanship rivals the original builder, so the system integrates seamlessly. I would recommend A to Z to anyone trying to add a solar system to a van or RV!

After researching 2 years for the best solution for off grid solution for a bus, I was referred to A to Z mobile RV. I am really grateful to be referred , Chris designed a system to fully meet our needs, and then some. The system he designed and installed is absolutely top notch. Lack of power is no longer a dilemma. I recommend anyone seeking top notch service and system design, Chris and his team are who you want to work with.

Chris listened to us about what we wanted to accomplish with an inverter setup in our fifth-wheel RV, and designed and installed exactly what was needed to meet those goals. He was very open about pricing and completed the installation under budget after his innovative design saved on material costs. We’re very happy to have worked with Chris on our project.

Hired Chris for an inspection on a used 2024 Entegra Odyssey and even though we had to wait 3 weeks for an opening it was money well spent! Besides thorough, he was also available for all our questions before and after. My husband is still in contact with him for his knowledge of installing lithium house batteries. Highly recommend!

Chris is wonderful. Got our rig fully setup and we have been loving it for the last year! He an amazing guy and will be there to help after. Don't hesitate to hire him.

Chris and his team are worth every dollar spent! I wanted a solar system Installed on my tt and trusted only the best for the work. I drove 600 miles each way and waited for an opening in the schedule. I knew he was the right guy for the job when he showed up at the time promised, ready to work. Chris answered all my questions, even the stupid ones with patience. He is so knowledgeable and is happy to share what he knows. If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable, reasonably priced Installer, look no further than Chris... you won't be disappointed!

We are full-time RVers who have been getting by with a very basic DIY solar system for the past few years. When we finally decided to go all-in on fully integrated system, we chose Tucson RV Solar, and couldn't be happier.
Chris was very willing to adapt to our needs. He gave us multiple quotes at our request--a budget friendly one in which he would build upon our existing system, or a fresh, top of the line install using Victron components and Rich Solar Panels. We opted for the big boy install, and we love everything about it.
The install process was both fast and professional. He got us up and running in a matter of a couple of days, with 1200 watts of Rich Solar on the roof and the full Victron treatment inside. The components were mounted in a very clean and efficient configuration, and everything works perfectly. He even helped us purchase a couple of extra Battleborn Batteries from a previous client who was selling his (at a great price). I really appreciated the money we saved by being able to add more batteries to the battery bank we already had.
After he was finished, he explained the basic concepts and steps of the system very clearly to us, and included a package with important details (such as how to power the system on and off, how to manage it, what common mistakes to avoid, etc). He offered for us to contact him any time if we have any issues or questions (which we have not needed to do, since everything works great!).
Chris is super friendly and honest, and was a pleasure to work with. His prices are very competitive, and we feel that we got a great value for what we got.
We absolutely love the system he built for us. We went from constantly fretting and worrying about our power usage everyday, to barely ever thinking about it. Thanks to him, we have years of boondocking in front of us, and we are so happy we chose him as our solar installer. If you are in the Tucson area and need some solar power on your RV, look no further!!!

Highly recommend Chris with A to Z Mobile RV! We were camping in Catalina State park when our converter went out at 4am - so no lights, AC, or fridge, most of our electrical was out. Chris came out right away that day - Saturday mind you - installed a new converter and charged us a very reasonable price. We have found a great mobile rv repair service and will definitely use him again!

OVERALL--OUTSTANDING!! Chris and his team are phenomenal! I knew of his business and approached him for solar work since in the state I live in, there is a lack of qualified and competent businesses that can do the work I asked. As such Chris focused on what I needed and did not upsell or add equipment not needed. He tailored the install and equipment to what I wanted to do and suggested systems as needed which I appreciated! Additionally, he approached the work as if it was his own RV--High quality, done correctly, and with precision!! You can't find a lot of people that will take that kind of time and effort to any job in my experiences! Everything was done on time, no delays and all of the systems worked as expected! Finally, Chris patiently went over each of the new systems, breaking it down so that I could understand it with ease. I highly recommend this company – – Chris thank you and Todd for all of your hard work and for an excellent job! A+++++

We found ourselves in Tucson about to start our winter trip (Snow Birds from Toronto Canada), and our solar panels were not drawing any power into the solar charge controller. We called Chris this morning and he fit us to have a look. It took us longer to get our bikes off the back than for Chris to diagnose the issue. He had the problem fixed and gave us a few ideas on how to improve wiring moving forward. He knows his stuff. A real professional that we highly recommend. We know why he has a 5.0 rating. Thank you Chris…you’re the man!

It was a delight to deal with Saguaro Solar from start to finish. The tech crew painted an electrical conduit that had nothing to do with their install as a courtesy. They were also efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Michele updated me on my project's progress as we waited for planning approvals and scheduling. Heather and other staff responded quickly to all my emails. Zoe was helpful, showing me how the app worked, and putting back a potted plant moved during the install.

Fransico's team at saguaro solar just finished my install. Fantastic work! They were on time, the installation was fast and problem free. They kept me informed the entire time. Courteous and professional. I highly recommend saguaro solar and Fransico's team. Thank Saguaro solar!

The folks at Saguaro Solar check all the boxes. They are friendly, professional, efficient, responsive and on time. There are many different folks with specific parts of the process to deal with so it's bit difficult to keep them all straight but each one of them, from the initial sales person to the guy who came out to finish painting the conduits was polite, friendly and responsive. The job was finished on time with no glitches (the panels & controls were actually installed while we were out of the country) and the 8 panels are now producing 20 kWh per day of solar power. I would highly recommend Saguaro Solar for your solar project.

I definitely do not recommend Saguaro. They did our Solar and it was a mess. They substantially botched the install - with it taking almost 2 months longer than estimated to get the system turned on. And now less than a year into operation, the system has already failed once (likely due to the bad install) and it took nearly 3 weeks and about a dozen calls to get it fixed. Only obvious upside is that they are reasonably priced and the actual equipment is good quality.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Saguaro Solar. We signed a contract in August 2023 with the promise of a 12-16 week project timeline, but here we are nearly a year later, and the project is still not completed.

The process has been nothing short of a nightmare. We had to endure five permit revisions with the city and three with the power company. Finally, on March 1, 2024, the permits were issued, but that was just the beginning of our troubles.

After an initial schedule of panel upgrade in March. On May 28, they replaced our electrical panel, but failed to schedule the necessary inspections, leaving us without power for over 24 hours. To make matters worse, the owner, Doug, admitted that they hadn’t even ordered our solar panels yet, and the panels we were supposed to get were backordered. He promised to get back to us the following week with our options, but it’s now been three more weeks, and they won’t return our calls.

Considering they have already received $24k=50% of the project this level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is unacceptable. I would not recommend Saguaro Solar to anyone. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your solar needs.

Updated: added photos of the work they did for the panel and the grounding wire

Update 2: we are now 3 months after the original post, a year from signing and paying, still no solar and Saguaro solar still hasn’t responded. We’ve had to result in referring to them the AZ Attorney General in hopes we can recover a portion of the $24k deposit we paid and only received a shotty panel upgrade.

Saguaro solar was one of many solar companies that I talked to about solar panels. They were the only one that I felt comfortable talking to about purchasing solar panels, not like I was talking to a used car salesman with all the pressure tactics to sign now . They gave me a low price right off the bat and that was the final price. The power inverters and the Rec 400 watt solar panels , I believe, are currently the best you can buy. The timeline for getting the install was probably at least doubled because of permitting issues with the HOA and all the different entities you have to go through to get solar on your roof. I don't believe any of that had anything you do with Saguaro Solar and they did handle all the permit issues. They did have a large short shipment of panels which did affect us for several weeks to a month that was corrected in time to get the panels up this year. Saguaro solar has their own installation crews, unlike most of the other companies. Their crew that they sent out from Phoenix worked together as a very efficient team always being very polite and having good work ethics. They worked together so well, they had the panels up in less than a day. 39 panels and they did a beautiful job. I am extremely happy with their workmanship.

I had a mixed experience with Saguaro Solar during my project.

    The Good:
    - The sales person (Ray) was great and explained everything in detail. He was also my go-to during the project when I needed progress updates.
-Sign up process was easy. The design and application with TEP was advanced very quickly.
    - The quality of work of the install is excellent.
-The system is performing well and I am happy now that it's all up and running.

    The Bad:
-The communication is very bad, which seems to be a theme on these reviews. They were very unresponsive throughout the project.
-It seemed like I had to push along the process at every step.
-Install was completed in ~4 months which was a lot longer than the 6 to 8 week estimate.
-We did have a little bit of damage where a large pile of the epoxy sealant leaked onto our brick patio. A couple of technicians came out and tried to fix it unsuccessfully and then just never came back. I ended up just fixing it myself.
-Several panels were moved from the design which put them in much shadier areas. The crew was working very fast to get the install done in 1 day instead of 2 and I assume this was done out of convenience. I brought this to Saguaro Solar's attention several times and did not receive any feedback.
-It took another 2 months to activate the system (6 months total).
-Once the system was turned on the monitoring did not work for a month and it was difficult to get someone to respond.

Overall, it is a good product and I am happy but they need to work on their communication and be more honest upfront about the timeline for completion.
