Upon reading positive reviews, I contacted EcoGreen to schedule an upholstery cleaning of my linen couch. Dave was courteous on the phone and in person. The couch had a recent spill, but Dave was able to restore to new. I asked whether he could clean the area rug under the couch on the spot, and he took care of that as well.
-
When we needed our sofas cleaned, Dave was immediately responsive via email, collected the information he needed to give an accurate quote, and was easy to schedule with. (Although the quote was a bit higher than other local vendors’ list price, it was more than worth it to me to choose an honest company that wouldn’t bait and switch on price and would use eco-friendly, safe cleaners without strong fragrances). He showed up right on time, worked efficiently and thoroughly, and gave updates so we could see the progress as he went. Our sofas came out beautifully clean and with no lingering fragrance, and the price was exactly what was quoted. I’d highly recommend EcoGreen to others.

I just had Patio Pools replace my pool 14 year old pool pump. Even though it is peak pool season, I got an appointment very quickly. The technician was terrific. He explained everything and answered all my questions. This new pump is super quiet! You can barely tell it's on. Patio backs it with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. I'm very pleased with this local Tucson company and will definitely use them in the future.

They replaced the pressure gauge on my pool filter as it leaked internally. Since they installed the system and it was on warranty there was no charge. They were fast, friendly and efficient. They are very knowledgeable and have helped me with several pool issues in the past.

Response to owner:
If you could have Ruben get back to us as he promised, that would be amazing. We've called over a dozen times but it doesn't seem to make a difference since no action has been taken.

We hired Patio Pools to resurface our pool in 2019 but the job was never fully completed and we had to hire another company to fix the mess they created.
1) Our water circulation valves are not working correctly, but after we paid Patio Pools in full (big mistake!) they stopped returning our calls. When we do get through to support they claim they will get back to us but they never do. (Ruben, are you there?)
2) The new pool pool light we paid for never worked and Patio Pools always had an excuse ready and they tricked us into paying our final invoice. After battling for about a year, we finally gave up and hired E-KONOMY POOLS to fix it. It turns out Patio Pools installed the light fixture incorrectly which allowed moisture to accumulate, creating a ground short that kept the light from working.
Avoid the same mistake we made and stay away from Patio Pools. -
Of course, our pump motor quits just as pool season begins. And we had to call for service just as the holiday weekend is about to start! We were amazed to be scheduled the following morning after the holiday. Mike was her bright and early, diagnosed the problem, went out for parts, returned and installed them before 1pm. He was kind enough to give us a thorough education on maintaining things, more than we've known in decades. Thank you!

The office service staff at Poolwerx couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. My Service Tech Darren is extremely knowledgeable and did an outstanding job installing my new pool pump! The entire team was above and beyond. Excellent service. I would highly recommend Patio Pools & Poolwerx!

Bought a back flow valve on Friday did not work for me returned it on Monday and was charged a 20% restock fee. Will never buy anything from Poolwerx in the future. $44 dollar restock fee was crazy.
Patio Pools resolved this issue and refunded my money. Very pleased that management resolved quickly. -
Needed repair parts for an older pump. Another pool company could not offer any help. Kayleigh was able to get me all the part I needed within a few minutes. So great to have the parts I local and the great customer service.

Patio Pools and Spas and Marco in particular have treated us so well. We recently purchased our second spa from them and once again Marco knocked it out of the park from start to finish. Thank you! The new spa is perfect. -TJ and Jacque

The pool works has been very good, they’ve been very consistent with their scheduling. The only issue that I do have is at the price has gone up extensively. For us full service I’m paying approximately $230 a month. Which isn’t too bad if you think about the way, the chemical cost is now. But looking into other pool companies, the price is a lot less. Hopefully, after all this inflation thing goes down they are able to reduce the prices once again.

Not good. Bought an over-priced rubber skirt for my pool cleaner and asked about the return policy. Was told within 30 days with the receipt no problem.
Came to return it after 20 days, and I could not get my refund, I have to wait for a check in the mail, that should come within two weeks?!??
Would only buy from this store, if in an absolute crisis -
They were able to come out the next day and do a professional cleaning of the pool, filter, and adjust chemicals. Ruben was great and only took a couple hours. Would recommend.

We had an air lock in our hot tub. Aaron came and fixed it quickly and very efficiently. Excellent work and such a nice person. We are extremely satisfied. We have had this hot tub at this house for 5 years and another hot tub which we left at our former house for 7 years. We purchased both of Patio Pools and have always been very pleased with their service and installation.

Couldn't believe it - I had an issue with my hot tub. I called one day & they were here within 24hrs. They brought parts, based on our model & I was up & running. Very knowledgeable & friendly. Great service. 👍

This is absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt. The worst place to go to. I bought a hot tub from these idiots and it was for a new hot tub.
1 week later it started to leak. They sent their tech out, and when he removed a panel discovered that it had been Fixed. So that means it was a used. Hot tub Can't get any worse than that. They are totally dishonest people. And that's not the first time they have a really bad rappore of being rip off artist -
Patio Pools built my pool in 2005 and have serviced it ever since. Most recently a tech came to clean the filters. I explained to him that the pump wasn’t operating when it should be. He took the time to identify the problem and fix it.

Let me start off by saying that I've been a Patio Pools customer for almost 14 years. I even bought my pool through them in 2009. I don't want this post to sound unreasonable.
A few days ago I bought a replacement part for my pool, Watts LFN36-M1 Vacuum Relief Valve. It was priced at approximately $165 at Patio Pools, $174 with tax. I was shocked, but continued with my purchase. Later I found the same part "elsewhere" for $30-40. Patio Pools had literally marked up the cost 400-500%. Bottom line, I returned it. When honest and explained the reason for returning the part, the female employee actually called someone (manager or owner) and explained the situation. When she got off the phone, she said she would refund my money but with a 20% restocking fee. Are you kidding me?? Lady employee didn't know what to say. But I know it's not her fault, so I didn't freak out. I have overlooked the higher costs for replacement parts at Patio Pool since they are a local company but I will no longer buy anything from Patio Pools again due to greed and lack of empathy for Tucson customers. Do your research. Pool supplies are cheaper elsewhere. I'm not angry, just disappointed. -
absolute worst pool service ever!! Constantly had to call the office to notify them that there was no chlorine in the pool. the pool had algea. filters were not being cleaned. I have cameras at my home and saw the pool cleaner spent 4 minutes on our pool and didnt even brush the sides. It was a hassle every week. I was always promised a return call after leaving messages and no one has ever called back. Shock was added to my pool with no notification not to swim. the only way we knew it was added, was the empty bags floating in my pool. now my pool heater isn't working. I called to set up a service call and the technician said it was probably dirty filters. I told him they were supposed to be cleaned by their company. I canceled the service and let them know we would have our filters cleaned and pool service started with a more competent company. The very next day someone came out to clean the filters. in doing so, shut off the pool at my panel and never turned it back on. I have called for 2 weeks asking them to come figure out how to turn my pool and spa back on and was told 4 times they would take care of it. no one ever came out. I spoke with someone today that said to send an email so they can see if this is something they can help with since we no longer have pool service through them. THEY shut it off!
I will update review further as the story continues. -
We are new to the pool owning family. Had a problem with the spa portion of our pool. Called Patio Pools and the young lady said it would be a week and half to two weeks. Turns out when she looked at the schedule they could come out the next day. Tech called later that day to give exact time. We talked about the issue and he indicated it sounded like we needed a new pump. He gave me a quote and was going to bring out the pump. When he showed up, he could have just said, yep it ‘s the pump replaced it and charged me the $2500 and I wouldn’t have known any better. But he took the time to diagnose the issue, which wasn’t easy to figure out, and was able to fix it with no parts and it cost us just the service call. That is what integrity is all about. Patio Pools has earned my business for life!
