The gentleman that had come to look at our pool and pump was very friendly and honest about what was going on with our pool and figured up an estimate in a timely manner and didn't beat around the bush when explaining the issues at all. He was kind and very professional too. We were very pleased with his work.

i can only talk about the Oracle and Magee store and Marco Camacho and Susanne Kelly. I am at that store every two weeks testing the water in my Jacuzzi (bought from Patio Pools). The helpfulness of Marco is beyond comparison. He has guided me for years now and always willing to answer my questions. He also answered all my questions about getting a pool cleaner and was very knowledgeable about what would work best in the pool. I have tries other pool companies only because they were closer but realized that a little bit longer trip was well worth the effort. I met Suzanne just recently and she was very helpful in answering my concerns and questions. " Patio pools is really the place to be" to steal an advertising phrase. A great place, great people and great products- what else can I say.

I would like to pass on my appreciation to the Patio Pools service dept. and Darren Ratliff, their Service Technician. Darren was prompt, diagnosed the problem and explained clearly why my pool lights were not working while offering proper solutions to correct those problems. Also, I would like to thank the office staff as well as Ms. Jeanette Lewis, the office manager, for
being flexible in scheduling the service call. I feel the estimate to repair the lighting problems was fair with no surprises or shock increases to the est. cost upon completion of the work. I just wish all service calls would go this smoothly.
    Thanks Patio Pools.

I bought a hot tub from Patio Pools about 9-10 years ago. Of course, things break over time, but the repair costs are very expensive. It costs $120-130 for them to come out and diagnose the problem. Then another $130 to fix it, plus the price of the parts. The final straw was when the flimsy and brittle front panel snapped in half. You have to remove 3 panels in order to drain the spa! The front panel is large, extremely thin and brittle. It was only a matter of time for the sun to weaken it. My panel was on order since October 2023! I was told that the company was moving their headquarters, and that was why they could never make and send my panel. I just recently cancelled the order and got a refund since I don't believe the part is ever coming in. I emailed the main company about the problem without a response. A hot tub is a nice thing to have when it's working, but not so much fun to have expensive repairs or non-existent company service. The next thing that breaks, the hot tub will go bye-bye.

Ordering process for my new filter and heater system was very easy. Got a quote quickly, they addressed my questions promptly, and revised to a final quote very helpfully. Delivery was fast (I was expecting “supply chain delays/excuses” but there were none). Ruben did an outstanding job with the install and so far, very good with the new system!

Pool brushed weekly, but spa ignored. Skimmer basket not emptied, tho it should have been. Especially at the prices they charge. We're going with someone else at the end of the month.

Patio Pools has been our pool service for 10 years. There are pluses and minuses to Patio Pools service. The pluses are that when you assign you a good technician they are good meaning they do what they’re supposed to do and put chlorine in the pool and check the balances and clean the pool BUT when they’re bad, they are really bad - we’ve had a mixture of both. Right now, our Pool Guy is pretty good. The second issue is that there is a disconnect of communication between the repair department and the pool technicians that clean the pools. Sometimes that disconnect is even with the owners, and when the technician finds a problem, you have to put in a service request and have a different service provider come out, and sometimes that takes a month or two before they fix what is having an issue in your pool.
Another good thing about patio pools is that they have a pool building Dept. so if you need anything done like moving pool equipment, or adding a float that fills up automatically or adding a heater to your pool, they can do it. We’ve had all of those done and we didn’t have to go outside. And they did it right So all in all, I gave them 5-five stars, but they need better communication!!

I have been using Patio Pools since I moved to Tucson several years ago and have always been very happy with the service and staff. I bought a Hot Springs tub from Patio Pools several years ago and still use it daily. Staff is very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. All questions/issues have always been resolved. Very happy with Patio Pools and look forward to working with them in the coming years.

I was in need of a new pool pump (which had served me well since 2001, with about 3ea (1.5 hp) motor replacements over the years. But now my Pentair Challenger pump (a brut) was on its last legs and was leaking like a sieve. So I called Patio Pools, (who had done a great job of applying pebble-tek to my pool in 2011) to come out, look at my set-up and give me a bid for a new pump system (pump & motor). Two young guys came out the next day and told me I now needed a "variable speed" pump and one that is at least 3 hp. They never checked the breaker box to see it could handle 3hp (which it could), they were not sure that my pool pop-ups would work with the new pump, they were not sure about my question as to the effect of summer temps on the new pump that was controlled by ICs (integrated circuits), though they did not explain how that new control would work, and were not sure about warrenty info. They also said that my old 1.5 hp pump now needed to be a min. of 3 hp. They were at my place for about 10 minutes and, as they left, yelled to me if it was Ok to charge $70. I said ok but was not sure why they were charging me that. The next day I received a quote from Patio Pools for $3, 290 (vs my old pump which cost me $350), all due to new regulatory rules to save electricity, and the other costs charged by PP. It turns out, when I asked what the $73.50 to my credit card was all about the woman at Patio Pools told me it was for the 2 guys to come out for the quote; and that extra $3.50 was for the gas cost, and $70 for wear & tear.
All of this was so disappointing to me. What happened?
Needless to say, I declined their proposal and will not buy another item or service from Patio Pools. Very disappointing.

The only positive part was that the Service Manager did email me answering some of the concerns that I had emailed to PP the previous day.

Patio Pools took my call and explained that they would set me up with an appointment the following week. A day prior to my appointment I was given a 4 hour window and the day of I was given a 20 min window. Darren was in time and completed all the work. Afterwards he asked if I needed anything else and I told him I’d like a quote on some equipment. Unlike many other service providers, he actually sent me the quote within a few hours. They have excellent follow through and are very professional.

Today Ruben came out to service my pool. He was on time, courteous and above all honest and informative. He did not try to oversell me where a lot of other sales people would have. And he could have overcharged me, but did not. Was happy with the service and the price. Will continue using patio pools and Reuben in the future. Thank you so much for a good experience.

Branden listened to my concerns for a new spa heater that would be rat resistant. He also suggested adding lights to the area as all my other attempts to keep them out failed. (And it seems to be working!) At my request, he and his coworker willingly moved the old cement pad for the new heater that sure looks rat resistant! They worked quickly and cleaned up after. I am very happy with the product and their work.

    The required work was completed.
The bearing noise is still load but it was a result of the impellar motor shaft seal leak.
It had unknowingly run dry and melted the impellar shaft interface. I opted to wait to replace the motor

just a "tip of the hat" to Darrin and Ian at Patio Pools for taking such good care of our recent need for repairs to our pool. Our Sand Filter system had outlived its useful life span and a new Cartridge filter setup was installed. I called on Friday and Ian in the parts dept. arranged for Darrin to come on Monday. He was efficient, instructed me and my wife on the new systems' operation, and left no mess for me to clean up. Thanks Patio Pools for a job well done.
