We got back home from a trip out of state and our air conditioner had stopped working. We called several local HVAC companies to give us an estimate. I loved that signature heating and cooling is Veteran owned and very friendly. They are truly an honest company that gave us a great price and they do free air duct cleaning if you buy an HVAC system from them. We were really impressed with the record timing of them giving us the quote to getting the unit installed and coming back out to clear our air vents. I would highly recommend them!

We had our system checked and they had to replace a part. They only charged us labor and the cost of the refrigerant. We have been their customer for 6 years and we are happy with their work and their workers.

Always respectful and friendly from the administrative team to any of the technicians that come out. They are very quick and responsive and explain what they're doing in the moment and after they are finished. Best AC and service company I've come across!

I am writing to formally express my outrage regarding a service visit to my home on 2\9/26. Your technician, Jose, provided a diagnosis and quote that was not only predatory in its pricing but fundamentally incorrect.

The Incident

Jose diagnosed the issue as needing a replacement of the bolts and washers connecting the tank to the bowl. He quoted a price of $700 for this repair—a job involving roughly $35 in parts and minimal labor. When I questioned how he could justify such a price to a customer with a straight face, his response was simply, "It’s not gonna last much longer."

The Reality

Upon further inspection, I discovered that the tank-to-bowl assembly was not the issue at all. The actual problem was a disconnected hose at the inlet valve. I was able to resolve the issue myself in moments without any of the parts Jose claimed were failing.

My Concerns

Price Gouging: A $700 quote for a tank-to-bowl rebuild is an egregious markup that exceeds any reasonable industry standard for labor and overhead.

Incompetent (or Dishonest) Diagnosis: Proposing a $700 repair for a problem that didn't exist suggests either a severe lack of technical skill or a deliberate attempt to exploit a customer for unnecessary work.

I expect my experience to be noted in your records. I will also be sharing this experience on public review platforms (Yelp, Google, Better Business Bureau) to ensure other homeowners in our community are warned about these business practices.

A brief follow up. The owner called me up and immediately started deflecting, telling me Jose had only been with him two months when a quick look at the reviews say he's been there for over two years. He then tried to blame the mistake on Jose when it was clearly the company's fault. Jose even showed me the company quote for replacement. If you're gonna call a customer back cause you're upset with the review they left then it would probably be best if you told the truth and not try to blame other people.

UPDATE: Six months later and we decided to replace the unit before it failed. Chase came out to look at the job and walked us through options. He was informative without being pushy and a very generous veterans’ discount was offered. We got multiple quotes and Signature was hands down the best. Getting the installation scheduled was lightning fast. Omar and Omar (a father-son team) handled the actual installation. They were professional, polite, efficient, and cleaned up very well after they were done.

I cannot recommend Signature Heating and Cooling enough! Monique got us scheduled for an inspection quickly, which was much appreciated. Jonathan came out and was amazing to work with! He explained the issues on our almost 25 year old unit in an easily understandable way and gave several options for repair or replacement. We opted for repairs at this time, but will definitely have them out when replacement becomes necessary!

Signature have done HVAC maintenance, repair and new installation for us (package units and mini splits). Owners, installation crews, maintenance techs and office staff have all been an absolute pleasure to work with. Their pricing is competitive, the staff knowledgable and professional, and they really are genuinely nice people. They have always exceeded our expectations and we recommend them without reservation!

We had a plumbing emergency that was superbly resolved by Signature’s technician. He was efficient and thorough. And did a great job of cleaning up when he was done. Highly recommend.

Wonderful company and technician. Jose was on time, personable, completed his work in a timely manner, and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend! I had $250 gift certificate that covered my duct cleaning - so it was an amazing price.

Everything went smooth no problems. The tech was there on time. He explaned everything he was doing. The thing that i was very happy with is he was not Intimidated by my dogs & even helped me put them the house.

I had a tub leak and called for an appointment late on Monday, i had a repairman at my door ready to help first thing the next morning. Jose was knowledgeable and answered all the questions I did and didnt think of. It really helped so I could make the best decision about the job. Thanks buddy.

We've been with Signature Heating, Cooling for over 13 years and highly recommend them for Heating/Cooling maintenance. Their personel are friendly, very professional and take the time to explain what they were looking for. After the inspection they go through what they found, leaving us photos of all readings, and what the inside of our air conditioner looks like. They explain any upgrades/repairs needed, why they need to be done and the importance of doing them. It's actually a pleasure to associate with people who have our welfare in mind and enjoy what they do.

I received an error code and Efrain arrived to find out why. The thermostat was checked out and an error was corrected...quickly I might add. The technician was polite and efficient. He made me feel like my questions were very important and he answered with terms that I could understand. I recommend this company for any issues you have for your HVAC.

Always been on time, really helpful and every call out is pleasant. They have taken such great care of me from installation, to maintenance, and troubleshooting (even training me!) Eric came by this morning and installed a surge protector for my unit after his recommendation the last time he was here for scheduled unit check up! Bought continued warranty-i'm ready for summer now! From one Veteran to another Veteran-OUTSTANDING!

I have used this company now multiple times and have had nothing but great experiences. New AC units installed, and repiping of my whole house. No one wants to have these types of issues but Brandon and his team did a great job on all the work at both properties. He has great team members that I trusted in my home and is a very hands on owner.

We received our winter maintenance on our heating unit. The company sent a text with the technician’s name and that he was enroute. I liked that I didn’t have to sit around waiting for someone to show up. The technician was nice and answered all of my questions I had about my heating and cooling units. He was very efficient and completed his tasks quickly. I was provided an electronic report of the maintenance work performed and whether it passed. I also appreciated that he asked if I had a CO detector. I do now. I have been with this company for many years and have always receive excellent service.

This company is AWESOME! I had 3 other contractors to my house to repair a water heater. All of them were trying to tell me my old tank heater couldn't be replaced because my closet was so small. I'd need to hack out my drywall and put in a door etc etc.. Tankless estimates were $5k - $6k.

Signature shows up. For less than my lowest prior bid they replaced the water heater, found all KINDS of other things that my AC\Heater needed to keep it running for a few more years (its 13 years old and needed some love)...and they gave me a maintenance agreement that paid for coil and blower cleaning, new wiring, repair missing line insulation, smart start switch and on and on for less than the other companies wanted to charge me for the tankless heater alone. It's not just the price but the ultra-thorough inspection, their honest technical assessment and attention to detail that was impressive, and they gave me options to suit my budget. On top of ALL that they are super nice folks! I intend to invite them over to our pool parties this summer. This was UNREAL given how things like this seem to go these days! 10 stars!!

Your technician was wonderful but Brandon your salesman made promises to me that never happened. I feel like I’m owed $2000 by you people and all you do is say you’re gonna check on it and I was charged way too much for the two units. I got a check around you can get those for $4000. You charged me almost $15,000. I can’t believe it. I’m from Colorado. We don’t use these stupid things. But they’re working good

I have used Easy Breezy for nearly 7 years now. They are always responsive. Things have not always gone right but that’s where they shine. When a system failed shortly after the warranty ran out they worked with their suppliers and me to make it right, and that means a lot. It’s so refreshing to work with a business that has high standards and is passionate in about doing the right thing. Thank you Brian, Vincent and the rest of the team.
