We recently purchased a home in Tucson and our gas fireplace had an odd smell. Austin was able to inspect and clean the fireplace/chimney and it looks beautiful and the smell is gone...all for a very reasonable price. We've never had a fireplace before and Austin was very patient and friendly as he walked me through the process and gave me lots of great tips. Will definitely continue to use this company!

It is a great pleasure to work with Austin. He is super polite and very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job cleaning my dryer vent. Left the place clean and organized. The work is very reasonably priced, especially when my dryer went goes all the way up to the roof of a two story building (I have the bottom unit). I will not hesitate to use them again. My dryer kept showing me a flow sensor warning and so who did I call? Tucson Chimney. Scheduling was super easy, I receieved text messages confirming my appointment and then the day of messages letting me know how far away from me their tech was. As with last time, super nice, knowledge, and respectful of my house and property. The tech even spent time chatting with me about fireplaces and the science and technology of today's systems. Had these guys come out a few months ago and clean our laundry vent. Very nice folks, very knowledgeable, and were very patient with all of my questions. Recommended a new dryer hose, however, not hard selling at all, explained the benefits and cost and left it up to me. Will definitely use them again. If you are looking for an awesome local small business that cleans, vents and chimney's these are the folks to call.

I'm so glad that we hired this company for our duct cleaning. They are professional, thorough and very nice people. I highly recommend them.

Chris painted my chimney firebox black. He told me how I could do this myself but I'm glad I didn't. He had a fan venting out the top of the chimney to keep the spray paint out of the house. He masked off the fireplace hearth and floor and cleaned up the work area completely. Now I can put candles in the fireplace during the summer. Marks on the hearth and living room wall were there before Chris started.

February 20, 2024: A++!! These are the only guys I let near my beehive fireplace! They have recently changed their name to Tucson Chimney and Venting Solutions. We had the owner Chris Retrum and his sons Austin & Dylan do some major masonry repair on our beehive fireplace about three years ago when we purchased our new home. This week I had Austin come by to clean our fireplace and chimney, as there has been a lot of buildup of creosote and soot on the walls.
They do great work, they don’t make a mess, they know everything about fireplaces and chimney construction and maintenance, and they are very honest and hard-working. A great family-owned and family-run business ! I will call them again this time next year for an inspection. 👍🏻🌵

Dylan did thorough job inspecting my Chimney. Haven't Inspected it in years so was expecting some issues. Dylan offered alternatives (insert) for food for thought. Will definitely use Tucson Chimney again and for the repairs.

Austin came, inspected our chimney and cleaned it out. He is very friendly and personable. He did a very thorough job and explained everything to us. He is quite knowledgeable and the price Chris quoted was the price we paid. There were no hidden fees which is always a plus. Chris got us on the schedule right away and Austin was very punctual. These guys are seriously awesome. We lost our chimney cap (and lots of roof tiles) in a summer tornado in 2024, and although our insurance company replaced the roof with no issues, we weren't so lucky with the chimney. We contacted Tucson Chimney in March of 2025 and Chris spent months working with us and with our insurance company trying to explain why he legally could not just give us a new cap, which was all insurance was willing to pay for. So, first thing we loved about them: they were willing to go to bat for us for literal months, when we hadn’t even officially engaged them to do the work. We finally bit the bullet in September 2025 and paid for all the work ourselves. Let us tell you, it was worth every penny. We have a toddler who still takes (and needs) naps, and both the chimney crew and the tile crew were so thoughtful and worked hard to do quieter work while she was napping - without having been asked. They also engaged with her as she stood as close as she could get to check out the work they were doing while she was awake. Everyone on the team is charismatic, kind, and efficient. They worked hard and well, but mostly what we loved about them was how personable and family-oriented they are. Our daughter still talks about them by name - a month later - and how they “cleaned up the gunk”. You won’t find better people to do work in your home! Call them now!
