Abacus Plumbing is awesome!
We discovered a leak under the foundation of our house (slab leak) and then to our horror found out we had the dreaded polybutelene piping (of doom). Once your poly pipes start leaking you are sitting on a ticking time bomb. We had three reputable plumbers out to discuss our options. All three recommended a full house re-pipe which is an extremely traumatic and invasive procedure (not covered by insurance).
We ultimately went with Abacus.
Bob from Abacus was very confident, and very patiently explained to us how he would go about repiping our home. Since we have no crawlspace, or attic, and a multi-level flat roof, repiping was challenging. Bob had a clear idea of how to do it, and his plan seemed minimally invasive and logical. His bid came in lower than the other 2 as well.
The Abacus team (Shane, Ty and Francesco) showed up on time, with three large trucks, ready to go. They spent a long time making sure they all understood The Plan and then went about it in a very careful way, being sure to “measure twice and cut once”. They have a great working team relationship with each other. They were super careful about where and how they cut the walls, leaving nice, neat, rectangular holes. They carefully labeled and saved all the drywall pieces so they could be reused. They used high quality materials for the re-piping (PEX, copper and heavy duty brass fittings). They tried to make as few holes as they possibly could; in one case one of them even crawled up into the ceiling to feed pipe around a difficult corner so they could avoid making 2 more holes. Even though our house was a challenge to repipe the team really seemed to enjoy the problem solving process and coming up with solutions. Each night they left us with a working sink, toilet, and shower, and they left the house clean and tidy, so aside from the rectangular holes in the walls it was like they’d never been there. I swear my floors are cleaner now than when they arrived. They were respectful, sympathetic and understanding about how invasive this procedure is, and it was a pleasure having them in our home for three days straight. They even fixed some existing plumbing problems we had in addition to the repiping, and left us with a house that now has NO leaks of any kind. I feel very confident about the job they did, and would not hesitate to recommend them. It’s lovely to have peace of mind.

Our elderly neighbor had a late night water leak, we called Bob at Abacus that evening, he sent a team over early the next day. Shane and Ty and their team responded quickly, respectfully (re; masks in the presence of an elderly woman), and were altogether friendly, considerate, and professional throughout the service call. We had a major issue on a Sunday, and on Monday Jesse was there. He stayed overtime, for over 2 1/2 hours running a major snake through our sewer and I was very pleased! Nice, professional and I would recommend to anyone.

Ty was so respectful, kind, honest and knowledgeable. We had an amazing experience with not only the work he did but also how he treated myself and my husband. We will definitely be using the company again. And Ty was the standout employee for sure!

Jesse and Jody were professionals explaining just exactly what the issues were and completed the entire job in the time quoted. They also didn't any sign that someone had actually been here as far as cleaning up after the completed work. I'd get them back in an instant and heartily recommend them to anyone. Thanks Abacus!

Although this company was honest enough to tell me they were unable to assist me me, they were kind enough to provide me with the name of the best company in town who COULD provide the service I needed, and that was a big help to my search, especially when they could have said nothing about a competitor and left me to squander who know how much time trying to find help. For that I am grateful. Lastly, I tried this company first because my Dad (RIP, Dad. I STILL miss you all these years you've been gone) used to work for Abucus Plumbing and never had a bad word to say about them.

The descriptors associated with our experience with Abacus are many and all positive; conscientious, professional, knowledgeable, timely, to list some that come immediately to mind. It is my opinion that someone would be hard pressed to hire a better contractor then what Abacus demonstrated themselves to be in regard to resolving our plumbing dilemma. I can't recommend Shane and company highly enough.

Had Abacus do work for me a couple times. The first time was an emergency, the second time was to install cleanouts on my older house to prevent future emergencies. They were great about coming out quickly, clearly explaining what needed to be done, and giving several options about how to fix things (or even save money!). 100% will use them for future pluming needs.

We recently discovered that we had a leaking water pipe underneath the concrete slab of our house. Once we found where the leak was, Abacus was on site within two days to do the repair. I was amazed at how smoothly the repair went. They had the carpet up, slab cut, pipe found and repaired all in about three hours! Later that same day, the concrete contractor arrived and replaced the concrete slab over the repaired pipe. We thought this might be a longer and drawn-out ordeal but Abacus got it done in a day.

Four different plumbers could not solve for an intermittent leak that was progressively causing more damage and very frustrating to deal with. Abacus found and provided a solution in less than an hour. They also did a fantastic job creatively replacing ancient bathroom shower hardware.

I had a plumbing issue off hours & Abacus Plumbing was there for me almost immediately! They were very professional & friendly. They were more than reasonable on charges. I couldn't have been happier. I have recommended them to all my friends & family. I think they are just the best.

Our technician Jesse did a great job unclogging our main sewage line. He was on time and thorough. The quote the dispatcher gave me on the initial call was comparable to what I payed. No hidden fees. I recommend this company.

By far the best plumbers in town. Family owned and operated businesses give a whole other level of quality service and Abacus Plumbing does not disappoint. They have helped my family business in multiple a precarious plumbing fiasc including but not limited to repairing/replacing a toilet, clogged toilets (one time there was a spoon in the line no idea how that one happened), hot water heater, busted main, and more.. Shane' Bob Ty and the team will be there 24 hrs a day 7 days a week when ever we need them so it's safe to say they will be there for you too. Thanks guys for being so awesome. In my experience, Abacus Plumbing is the best in town and I'm thoroughly pleased with their service. They responded to my problem (an outdoor leak) swiftly and repaired the problem to a standard much higher than the original plumbing. I will have no hesitation to continue to call Abacus whenever I have a plumbing problem and I recommend them without reservation.

Complete re-plumb on a 1940's home that had been added on to several times. Water leak could not be repaired and could not even figure out where the water was coming into the house. Shane and his crew were great!! They were on time, had a big job and finished the plumbing in just under 3 days. The cost estimate was close to the final bill. We had to call them back about a minor issue and they responded immediately and did the repair. I would recommend them again in an instant.

From calling Bob in the office to Ty and Matteo coming to do the work, this experience has been superb. They did a terrific job, came within days of my call, and the price was fair. Communication with the company was excellent. I 100% recommend.

We had a sudden issue with a pipe under our bathroom sink last week and a close family friend recommended Abacus. I called and spoke with Bob who was very understanding and even though there was a short wait to get a plumber out to solve the problem, I am glad we chose Abacus.
