Our niece had an unexpected water issue. After noodling on the Internet I settled on Abacus Plumbing & am so glad I did. My husband called & in a hour or so we met Jesse at the house. He was so very nice, courteous & professional. It maybe took an hour or so to fix the issue, which turned out to be not bad. And the charges for the work were very reasonable. We are heading toward needing a new water heater at our own house & we will definitely be calling Abacus!

No water, at the last straw, everything which could have gone wrong did, went on the internet and tried contacting a few of the plumbers who claimed to be 24 hours, got lucky and got in touch with the professionals at Abacus. An hour later, Jesse arrived, and, hour after that, life had returned to normal. Excellent service, fair price, outstanding job, totally professional in every possible way. Jesse even took the time to show me what he had done and what he had corrected. I mean, who does that? And we have hot water in our shower.... not lukewarm, not a brisk shower, but real hot water!

Called them up because they had good reviews and could come out the next day to fix a garbage disposal that was seized up and a faucet that was leaking. They came out on time and got right to work...so that was good. But then they had two people take an hour and 15 minutes to just take off a garbage disposal and get it unlocked and put it back on (when one could have been doing that and the other looking at the faucet), then they got the faucet apart and said it was the cartridge and that they didn't have any and would have to drive across town to get one (at $150 an hour). So I said no thanks I'll figure it out can I pay you, then he said yeah, I'm going to clean out the calcium deposit real quick and then I'll call to take payment...well it somehow took 20 minutes to clean out (which is $50) and the faucet is <2 years old and we have a water softener and whole house filtration system...so it couldn't have been bad at all. So I just spent $340 for them to unfreeze a garbage disposal (you can get a really nice, brand new garbage disposal for <$200) and leave me with a broken faucet sitting on my counter that I will now have take care of. Complete waste of money and will NEVER call them again. Gave two stars because they were on time at least.

Jesse has come to our location twice and has done a great job. This most recent time he fixed a toilet issue in less than 20 minutes. He very thoroughly explains what the issue is and gets the job done quickly. I'd absolutely recommend getting him to take a look at any of your plumbing issues.

BEWARE.... this is a company that does not charge for a job but for time. So, per Google Maps it takes 11 minutes to get from their property to my home. Why was I charged 30 minutes travel time? Then, they charge $145/hr above the 30 minutes. Unfortunately their tech tried to clear my drain. On the first try it didn't clear with the snake. So he tried again and then again. I am paying for his incompetence. Finally it was cleared and he goes out to his truck while the clock keeps ticking. After a clear hour has passed he comes in and bills me for 1.5 hours (0.5 travel) plus a 'snake fee'. I will never use this rip-off company again. Be sure to get a company that charges for the job, not the time!!!

The team at Abacus did an amazing job replumbing our house. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and super clean. One top of that all the techs were so kind. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

Their tech came out to install new kitchen faucet. Dishwasher was running when tech came out. Unbeknownst to us he shut water off to dishwasher during faucet install and didn’t tell us or shut the dishwasher off. So dishwasher ran without water. Next day tech had to come back because faucet had no hot water. Now dishwasher doesn’t work and they claim it has nothing to do with faucet install. Just bad luck! Really? Gibbs rule #39. No such thing as coincidence. Now we have to spend over $1000 replacing a 7 year old dishwasher that just “happened” to burn out the same day their tech was under our sink. A reputable company would just own the mistake and offer to replace the appliance. So disappointing.

I called Abacus on a referral from a neighbor that has used company for 42 years. My home needed some repair/upgrades.
From first speaking to Shane and meeting Jesse, technician, I knew I was in good hands.
Jesse got right areas needed. What I thought needed new he repaired- working like new. I was given a price for each upgrade I requested so immediately new my costs. Their truck was well stocked so all work was completed. Jesse was very knowledgeable and exceptional. Work areas were clean and neat. Did not add any additional parts or service- only what I requested.
When completion I was totally satisfied with my final costs. I had anticipated more.
I am extremely please with Abacus and will be a continued customer.

Abacus responded same day to repair a leak on my main water line. They were professional and did a great job. Jesse was willing to help and also repaired my outdoor faucet. Jesse was very meticulous when putting my yard back together. I have had other plumbing and household services in the past where companies leave a mess. Abacus does not leave a mess and very professional from start to finish.

Abacus Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend who had work done by them. I had a shower faucet leak that needed repair quickly. Jesse, the technician arrived in a timely manner after the call from the office let me know he was in transit. Jesse assessed the problem and fixed it soon after. Very professional all around and affordable. I highly recommend Abacus Plumbing and their services.

I have dealt with many trades people in my life And I tend to be rather particular in whom I deal with. I was very fortunate after reading several reviews to come across Abacus Plumbing for the re-pipe needs at my home.
I found everyone that I dealt with very professional and very respectful in their respective duties. It was a very big job and needed an extreme amount of engineering, which they handled like pros! They went above and beyond working extra hours in order to get the job completed quickly. They were just great! There’s no question who I will choose in the future and certainly recommend them to everyone I know! They displayed respect and integrity not found in many businesses today!

I’d like to give Jesse and Abacus 10 stars for exceptional service. We had a emergency and hoped it was a warranty issue but it was a poor installation issue from a non-licensed contractor. Jesse quickly identified the issue, explained our options and completed repairs. Truly the best experience ever in that kind of emergency. Abacus will be our first call for any future plumbing issues. In the future we will start with the professionals!

After multiple bad plumber experiences, I finally found Abacus and have never looked back. They are honest, straightforward, and do high quality work. Just recently, we had a main line valve leak. Abacus couldn't get to us for 2 days, so we tried a different company that could come the next day. The other place quoted me $1,700 for this easy job so I sent them away. As usual, Abacus was worth the wait. They came today, fixed the valve in about 35 minutes, and charged their hourly rate plus parts for a total of $214. I have a home warranty but I will always use Abacus. Thank you, Jesse!

Some plumber called Tye, made a mistake and no water was coming out of the faucet. It was completely his fault!. He spent literally 10 mins at our home and charged me $149.50. Which is preposterous. unless my invoice is adjusted, I will never ever use this company!. I give Tye 1 star. He is ugly and greedy beyond belief!

Shane went above and beyond just replacing pipes. So impressed, my family will be recommending to anyone and everyone!

I used abacus for an emergency plumbing leak I had in my house back in 2022. They did an an amazing job! Responded quickly and gave me a fair and accurate price for the work. Fast forward 3 years and today I needed that original receipt for the work for insurance. I couldn’t find my copy anywhere. We called abacus in hopes they could help and got bob on the phone. He listened to our concern and what was going on with great patience and can do attitude. He said he would have his people look for the receipt for us and a few hours later they had it in my email. Boy, Google makes it hard to get to the right company you want to rate. Today I want to rate Abacus Plumbing, not any other company. This company IS THE BEST! I have counted on these professionals for 30 years. My first call was to Bob, late one night, to help my parents hook up an appliance. They had just moved to Tucson, were confused. He helped them, he was so kind and understanding. Since, he has always been there or sent a great professional (Jesse) to solve the problems that come up in a 50 year old home. This week, Ty, a fantastic person, fixed my completely backed up pipes, three faucets. He snaked drains, cleaned up the messes the overflows made (I'm not kidding) and did it all with a smile. Then afterwards, treated my pets to Vienna Sausages. This company is reasonably priced, performs excellent work, guarantees the work, has values that I trust. I recommend them above any other choice.

Shane and the team responded pomptly to my call, and provided honest feedback on a concern that had been raised by another plumber when my sewer line was scoped. Shane told me what work was warranted, AND what work he didn't feel was warranted at this time; I never felt like he was just trying to "sell" me something. I appreciated his honesty and assurance!
