We had our dryer vent cleaned out today. Not something you think about often until it’s too late and has ruined your appliance or caused a fire. It was over 25 feet of lint buildup. 😬 Lee Thompson with Bert Black could not have been nicer or more professional. We really appreciated his expertise and care!

Jon is incredible. Without a doubt the most thoughtful and personal technician I've ever worked with. Showed up on time multiple times and stayed till the job was done. I'm a BIG fan of this company now!

Lee came to my house for an assessment of our duct cleaning needs. He was professional and friendly, shared appropriate stories and shared All the services available. Lee was knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly.

Michael showed up right on time. He was able to diagnose the leak problem and replaced the necessary parts quickly. In addition, the charge for this service/repair was very reasonable. I would certainly use Bert Black services again if needed.

Had an AC tech come out today. Tech was very friendly, nice and professional. My only issue was the cost of the AC drain clear out of $352 to put a little air hose In the pipe to blow something out 4 inches deep that was in the “u” was a little costly. Actually too costly.

I am happy with the service provided by Bert Black's technician, Jesse. He was knowledgeable and knew immediately what was wrong with our unit after my explanation. He was polite, on time, even early, and explained everything I needed to know to properly maintain my unit.

Annual Heating check. We just moved into our townhouse and had no idea about the condition of our heater. Jesse was the serviceman. He was very professional and showed us via a virtual pictorial all the internal workings of our system. He advised us of our repair options not pushing one over the other. A problem in the operations was corrected. Jesse was kind and accommodating. Thank you.

We called to have our old heating and air unit serviced. Our technician, Bubba Glover did a 5 star service! Because our unit is old, he recommended a service every 6 months and we signed up. You will not be disappointed with Bert Black!

Jeremy Toney and Alex Brown have been very helpful in resolving the problems that we have had with our new system. Alex Brown, during the bad weather (snow and ice) with the help of our neighbor was able to get our system working well. Jonah was amazing!! We called for his help because we had a leak somewhere and he came in an hour and fixed our problem in 2.5 hours. He was extremely nice, and very professional. Highly recommend!

Called a ton of plumbers they were the only ones that came out on a Saturday. Jonah was professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our leak quick. Highly recommend.

Wanted $517 to replace ice maker tubing. That is insane. In September, one of their HVAC guys, who came for a routine inspection, told me my heater was on its last legs after he moved the cover of my furnace so it made a really awful noise whenever I turned the heat on. Never "inspected" anything. They then tried to sell me a new 10k HVAC system...but my furnace is fine. I called to cancel my service contract with Bert Black today, and I asked for a prorated refund. No refunds. Caveat emptor with these clowns.

Bert Black's service has been consistently excellent so far. We have called on them several times, and each time have been very pleased. Their employees have all been extremely polite as especially knowledgeable in each instance of a problem. Highly recommend!

We bought this older home 11 months ago and the whole time the water from the washer has been backing up into the bathtub. The previous owner did not have this issue. Since we are currently remodeling the bathroom, we decided to have a professional come out to access the situation. Upon arrival, I explained the issue and Joseph, along with the other plumber, immediately knew what was causing this to happen. Both plumbers are very knowledgeable and experienced with the situation. They were curteous and professional and arrived in a timely manner. They took time to explain the process to correct the issue as well. Overall, we had a great experience. I will definitely be calling them again!

Buyer beware: If you purchase an annual maintenance contract it is non refundable starting day one. They came out to service home standby generator. I knew I needed a new battery, but they quoted me an additional charge of $505.00 to replace a 12volt battery. On top of the $449.99 annual fee that I had just paid two days prior to the visit. So I call to cancel the $249.99 HVAC contract which they haven’t even made the first inspection yet, BOTH non-refundable. So I basically just paid them $700.00+ for an oil change on the generator. Expensive lesson!! ( also the tech blew the fuses on my generator system and bypassed with some wire and failed to inform me ) That will be money well earned for all the future bad reviews I give of Bert Black Company to as many people as possible going forward.

Northside Power replaced the battery and found the rigged fuse situation and corrected the problem. Got me back up and running. Big thanks to Michael and the folks at Northside Power.

I was worried about our generator a couple of days before the ice/snow storm and called Bert Black. Allen was sent out for maintenance and went above and beyond to make sure it was up and running that night, including a trip to purchase a battery after he completed the maintenance. It was an amazing customer service experience! We signed up for yearly service and will be requesting Allen.
