Jerry came to our home in Albany and carefully inspected the chimney and the liner. He ran a leak test and made sure all parts were connected properly. To our surprise, Jerry told us our current liner was still in great shape and there was no need to replace it. I was really impressed by the honesty—he could have easily sold us something we didn’t need, but he didn’t. This saved us quite a bit of money and gave us real peace of mind. Charles and his team arrived the same afternoon and got the new chimney cap installed in under half an hour. If I could give a zero I would. This is a consolidator business and the person they sent to do the work charged 3 times the usual rate for what a chimney cleaning in our area usually costs. When the charge showed up on our card there was an unauthorized tip added of almost $100 !!! The job was messy with black finger prints on our white walls. Even at an hourly wage they collected $700 for a job that took less than an hour - no repairs and only on one chimney. We got taken. We called customer service to complain and got a complete run around. No customer service. DO NOT USE
the team showed up right on time, which really matters to me. when they arrived for the chimney sweep, they were super friendly and took the time to walk me through everything they checked during the inspection. when it was time to do the cleaning, they put down a fresh drop cloth and used a big industrial vacuum, so there wasn’t any mess left behind. after they finished, wayne even showed me how to start a fire in my fireplace since i’d never tried it before. he also pointed out a couple of small issues, explained when i should be concerned, and gave me some affordable suggestions to take care of things for now. overall, it was a really positive experience!
