i had a great experience getting my chimney cleaned in richmond. another company tried to charge me for repairs i didn’t need and gave me a price way over my budget. mr chimney cleaning was honest, explained everything clearly, and the price made sense. kaleb, who came out to do the work, showed me before and after pictures of my fireplace and chimney, so i knew exactly what was done. i’ll be calling them again next time i need a sweep!

Everything has been great! Mr Chimney Cleaning recently cleaned my chimney just before the holidays. The technician who came, Carson, was very polite and knowledgeable. He started by inspecting the top of the chimney and even provided me with pictures to highlight some concerns I had at the top, mainly some wood damage. He brought in a large vacuum cleaner, used a tarp to protect my home, and thoroughly vacuumed the fireplace area. Carson also pointed out a crack in the floor and the back of my chimney. I was aware of this crack but had been informed before that fixing it might cost over $300. Instead, Carson suggested sealing it for just $40. He mentioned that this would likely be a temporary fix but should last for several years since I don't use my fireplace often. Overall, Carson appeared honest and didn't push me to pay for unnecessary services I could handle myself, and he left my place spotless. The only thing I noticed is that the fireplace still smokes a bit more than I prefer, but I’m not sure why that is, and it might not be related to the chimney cleaning. It's worth mentioning that Mr Chimney Cleaning has asked some customers to share their experiences for compensation, but they don’t control whether those reviews are positive or negative. I understand that these reviews help businesses, and sometimes those of us with good experiences don’t take the time to share them.
We had a fantastic experience with mr chimney cleaning. since we hadn't used our fireplace since moving in, we decided it was time for a full chimney sweep and inspection. ricky was super responsive and made scheduling really easy. on the day of the appointment, he kept me updated about when he would arrive and showed up right on time. he did a careful inspection first, explaining everything he saw, then set up all his equipment to make sure nothing got dusty or dirty in our living room. the chimney and fireplace were cleaned out quickly and thoroughly. ricky also spotted a couple of small cracks, which he repaired right away and told me how to keep an eye on them in the future. he was very friendly, professional, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. overall, a great experience and we feel much safer using our fireplace now.
the service was excellent from start to finish. the person who answered the phone was very friendly and helped me schedule a chimney cleaning fast, even though i called last minute. francis showed up right on time and explained a lot about my fireplace and how to take care of it. i would definitely suggest them to anyone needing their chimney cleaned.

The team did a great job, helping us choose the perfect stone to match our living room and arranging for a custom mantle. Kaleb and Carson, who handled the refinishing and installation, were very professional and paid close attention to detail.
