Rankin Electric is a complete joy to work with. Their office staff is friendly, professional, and vey efficient. The electricians that have been dispatched have all been knowledgeable, and communicated in simple terms the exact issue and proposed solution. The owner Randy has come out with very little notice to help in case of an emergency. I highly recommend Rankin Electric for any needs you may have!

Randy gave me multiple options and sent someone quickly to give me estimates. Then, Brian did a great job this morning removing the old and installing 3 new coach lights. He kept me informed along the way and was knowledgable, quick and efficient. He also went above and beyond and cleaned out the bugs in my porch can light! All of my electrical projects will be with Rankin! Great Service!

Extremely professional and understanding do to i work out of state and my 71yr old mother is at the house she had no heat or any electricity to the house they sent a Extremely professional and polite employee did a troubleshoot got it all fixed at an Extremely low price definitely recommended

I needed Rankin to do several things and they sent their guy Daniel Garcia. And I could not be happier! He first came over to look at the job. He had to make appointment where he would bring supplies. He was on time the first time but cancelled the follow up. I'll explain why in a sec.
When you did come the second time, he was on time, extremely friendly and an expert at what he did. He explained all my concerns and the entire experience was very smooth and he was fun to be around.
Now let me explain why I still am giving him a great review even though he didn't show the second time. On the way here for that second appointment, he saw smoke coming out of the roof of a house. he did the right thing and called 911. A lot of people wouldn't bother to do that much. But this SUPER HERO listened to his Spidey Senses and went back. He then pulled an unconscious woman from the building after ripping the window AC out to be able to get a hold of her and SAVE HER LIFE!!!
I have had many good repair people, but never one who was an actual HERO! If anyone had a reason for a no show, Daniel sure has it! I'm going to contact the local news because he deserves the recognition he deserves. The woman doesn't even know who saved her! I'm sure she would like to meet the man who gave her her life back.
I just wish I could give 10 STARS! He's a great electrician, but a better human being!

I am delighted with the work from Rankin Electric. I have had them come out to my house for numerous projects. They do a great job each time, and the individuals themselves are very friendly and communicative. This last time, Joe and his colleague came out, they were friendly and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Rankin Electric for your home projects.

I had Rankin install electrical for a mini-split HVAC system for my office. They did a great job, very professional. Every part of the install was discussed ahead of time, and the techs demonstrated that they really knew what they were doing.

They even designed a solution that made for less electrical piping/conduit on the outside of my house, very thoughtful!

They showed up on time, coordinated and always made sure to tell me exactly what they were going to do and how long it might take to do so.

They communicated clearly and effectively at every interaction.

Rankin Electric is, by far, the most professional company I have dealt with recently. I cannot recommend them enough and will absolutely be using their services in the future.

I initially hired them to install a wire chase and AC outlet for a mounted television above my fireplace. I was given an appointment within the week and they worked with me on a convenient time. I added a stove and gas range to my service order last minute and they accommodated without issue.

My appointment was scheduled from 8am to 9am. Michael called me at 8am prompt and let me know he was on the way. He brought all the necessary supplies. He was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The job was completed within a timely manner. I was present for the entire installation and everything was done professionally. The installation even required some additional parts beyond what I had purchased. Michael had spare parts and was able to complete the job without having to order anything extra. Michael cleaned the workspace before leaving and left no trace of him being there. If Michael is any indication of the quality of employees Randy has working for him, Randy should be extremely proud.

Additionally, their rates are absolutely unbeatable for the outstanding quality of service provided. They are the only company I have dealt with that charged me below what was quoted. Again, I cannot recommend Rankin Electric enough.

I called Rankin Electric to fix several problems I needed fixed , I chose Rankin because they are local and have been in business for over 30 years . I am very glad I did and will be calling again whenever I need an Electrician. Brian was very professional, polite and friendly , he went above and beyond, explaining what needed to be done and our options , so that we could make knowledge decisions.His work was thorough and with care and in a very timely manner. As has been my experience with Rankin Electric a job well done. From my call to the tech showing up and doing what was needed . Mark was knowledgeable and got right to the replacement of several breakers in the electrical panel. The price was very reasonable. You need electrical work done, call Rankin!

Amazing company! Several switches stopped working in two areas. Josh at Rankin Electric was so prompt, professional, and hard working. Ten stars for Josh! He diagnosed the issue immediately and probably prevented our house from burning down. We also asked him to install a new GFCI switch and add a plug in another room so we could plug in an automatic safety light. Their work is always excellent , and their prices are amazingly reasonable. The entire staff is helpful, and the electricians have always done top quality work. We have had Rankin install new fans, re-do a ballist from fluorescent to LED, put in LED recessed lights, and (my favorite) install dimmers on so many switches so I have gentle lights at night. Again, great prices and great work. I have recommended them to so many people, and my friend just recommended them back to me when my switches went out. We all agree that no one else but Rankin has the level of quality and prompt service in Kern County. Thank you, thank you!

We were having some serging issues throughout the house. I called late last week to see if we could get someone out to address the problem. The woman I spoke with(unfortunately her name escapes me) was apologetic that no one could come out until Monday…. I was expecting a date much further in the future. Brian was at our door shortly after 7:30 a.m. listened to our issue, was out at the breaker box a few minutes and showed me the problem breakers. He too was apologetic about what the breakers would cost, made sure my wife and I understood the situation and was given the go ahead to do the repairs. The entire job took less than 2 hours start to finish( including a trip back to the shop for the breakers needed, circa 1960’s). Brian was very polite, informative and neat. The cost of the work was far less than either of us expected as well. I would highly recommend Rankin to anyone needing electrical work.

From the first phone call to getting the work done I was pleased at the professionalism of the employees of Rankin Electric. My main problem was a miswired switch, which Daniel G found and quickly repaired. He then hung a new ceiling fan in another room, again quickly and efficiently. I strongly recommend Rankin Electric for any electrical work needed. Professional, informative and extremely pleasant made the whole project so much easier than I expected it to be.

Awesome experience with Rankin Electric! We highly recommend them. The office staff who answered my questions when I first called was very nice and helpful. I called her two more times and she was as pleasant. One of the things we needed was to replace our floodlights. We wanted to make sure we chose the correct lights, therefore I emailed pictures of our present set up. I received a super quick reply from Randy who in turn attached a picture of the type of lights we should get for our set up. We really appreciated the guidance.
The technician who came to our home was Brian. He was great, punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He replaced our floodlights and also fixed our problem with the outside home lights not working and the hallway switches not working properly as well. We will definitely continue using Rankin Electric for your needs. I am so glad I chose them and will recommend them to our friends.

Austin our rep was very nice and honest, the description was easy and cleared out any questions we had. People who came to do the installation were nice and quick, very respectful as well and left everything nice and clean! They installed like a month after we signed due to our HOA approval but they were ready to install like 2 weeks after we signed everything! Totally recommend Fuzion Energy!

Joe Andrews was great. I had called at least a dozen other companies and none could answer all my questions. I’m a person who wants to know all about a product so I completely understand all I can about it especially for anything that costs a lot. I ended up buying mine. I texted and called a lot with questions and he was very good at getting back to me and came by a few times to make sure I understood. I did not get a high pressure sales like I did from other companies. If I have question from time to time he is always available to answer me. I highly recommend Joe Andrews and his crew was great during install.
