Update 8 Months, still a fire hazard. Initially told I could use a different contractor. Now I was told I have to use Semper Solaris to replace the panel or lose my warranty. I have submitted payment. I have signed all the contracts. I have repeatedly emailed and called Raymond Torres with no answers for the last three weeks. Also, my neighbor saw the guy fall on the panel and break it.

Update 7 Months, I said I would pay for the the repair in August. They sent someone out that could have repaired it and he didn’t bring the panel. It is still a fire hazard.

Not sure why this great company has gone downhill. I had requested work done in August 2024 to add additional panels and batteries. I had another company clean my panels and show me a problem with my installation with a broken part. I looked back at pictures I took of my roof the day after install and the part was broken then. I had them come out twice with problem since install and they never saw the broken panel. I believe they didn’t want to admit the problem.
I told them in August that I would pay to have the panel replaced, since I hadn’t noticed the issue and they ignored it. They waited two months to send someone out to my house and an additional month to tell me they won’t replace it under warranty. Now after three months they will get me a price to repair it.
I have now missed the window to install the new system for getting a tax break.
They still have not given me the final quote on the entire project after 3 months.
I asked on a Tehachapi Facebook Group and found multiple people with a similar issue with Semper Solaris. I will pay to have them to fix this issue, but will only use them for the warranty work on there system in the future.

Semper Solaris representatives are always helpful and nice. Recommended to all my friends and acquaintances.

So I got Sunrun for my home install like three months ago.
I just had it checked about a month and a half ago and told me everything was running perfect.
I should not be getting a bill from PG&E because I have solar and I have Tesla batteries as well so the only bill I should be getting is from Sun Run, which is a set quote per month.
I just got out $750 bill from PG&E because I’m using their power when I shouldn’t be using their power at all, but the solar panels are under performance.
Now I’m paying almost double in electricity because I’m paying Sunrun and paying PG&E .
I tried to file a claim for compensation, and I was told I could only do that once every two years, But this is a brand new system, and I should not have to use this option because of the carelessness.
I told him I was going to start recording that call because I will get a lawyer and once I told him I was recording the car. They said they do not appreciate me recording and hanged up the call.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Excellent service, very responsive. I've used Semper Solaris in two previous instances for the installation and follow-on installation of my Solar System and now SCE pays me for my contribution to their Grid....!

I have been searching for years for a reliable electrical service for my small home jobs - things like replacing ceiling fans and outdated light fixtures, putting in new outlets, etc. I had a disastrous experience with a local company about 6 months ago and decided to just give up. I needed an outside wall light fixture by my garage door replaced for safety reasons and he sent someone out the same day - in the rain! The electrician arrived on time, was very courteous, explained exactly what he was going to do and 10 minutes later it was done. The fee was very fair. He told me to compile a list of projects and he would be very happy to come back and take care of everything in one day. All in all a very pleasant, stress free experience and I've found my new electrician! I can highly recommend Rankin Electric!

Yesterday (2-23-17), I called Randy with a problem that needed trouble shooting. Luckily, Daniel was in the area, and within 30 minutes, he showed up and had the two problems resolved in 15 minutes. I have used Rankin Electric for the past two years, and I've been very happy with the results. The techs are very professional and knowledgable. Rankin had done some previous work for my daughter and me at a rental home we just purchased. I had been having a problem with a portable heater cutting off the electric, so I needed to know if it was a breaker or outlet issue. I called Rankin on Monday morning. My appointment was made for Tuesday between the hours of 8 and 12. Daniel arrived at approximately 9 o'clock. I appreciated his honest approach in assessing and resolving the issue in a timely manner. The cost of installing another outlet, so I could utilize my patio for cooking was very reasonable.
