Super happy with the service we received! Jared showed up early, thoroughly tested our mini split’s condensation pump and when he came to the conclusion that it was going to have to be replaced, he had the part on hand and made sure I was aware of the price before continuing. He was very professional and tidy. Definitely recommend!

Today, we received follow up service for an earlier paid maintenance plan with South Valley Air. A few days ago, their office manager contacted me to set up a visit. Technician “Bo” arrived as requested and serviced our central air furnace and winterize the evaporative cooler. He was very attentive to both systems and double checked our interior vents, including carbon monoxide check. I was impressed with his service and attitude.

So easy to work, fast service was able to fit work in for my Grandmother same day while I was in town. Very professional and easy to talk to. True pleasure for business will use again and recommend to all friends and family.

Great service on the phone and by the technician that performed the service. I got the service plan, which I think is a great deal. They set up a same day appointment between noon and 2pm, they arrived at my house by 11:50. I really appreciate their timeliness.

Had very pleasant experience with everyone I interacted with at this company. I feel they were fair and understanding. While it is hard to know what is a "fair price" in this day and age, I am very happy that this $1k repair prevented me from having to buy a new unit (10-20 k?). I feel confident that when I do have to replace this unit, I will have this company do it

I hired South Valley AC and Heating after several weeks of frustrating salesmen experiences while getting quotes for replacing a heating and AC system on a small house. SV gave a fair quote with no song and dance, with the price clearly broken down in the quote. On the day of the install they arrived at 8am right on the dot and were out by 4. I am very happy with my new system and the customer service I received. I will be happy to recommend SV to my neighbors and colleagues!

My wife and I were in need of replacing an old MasterCool swamp cooler and decided to go to the internet and research local contractors. I found South Valley Air and Heating (Bakersfield, CA), which had all 5star reviews. I called and spoke with the office manager, who scheduled a free estimate. We received a visit from the owner, Chris Wheeler, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. I liked him immediately!

Chris examined the old swamp cooler, which was installed on the roof of the backyard area. He stated that a detailed bid would be sent to my email. We had previously received two other bids from local contractors. Both of us agreed that SVA met our needs, which is also bonded and insured (very important when you have work performed in your residence). Two separate coolers were presented by SVA with an AeroCool Trophy cooler recommended as a better system. We chose that system, which I found on the internet to be a more efficient swamp cooler.

We scheduled the installation for one week later with Chris and his crew promptly arriving that morning. During the install, Chris made sure that all systems were working correctly and kept me advised. We also scheduled a cleaning of our duct system and yearly maintenance/ cleaning of our central air &heating systems. I could not be more happy with the service from South Valley Air and would highly recommend them for your cooling and heating needs!

I called South Valley AC to basically get a 3rd opinion and price comparison. I got a call from Chris first thing in the morning and discussed my concerns. He was able to make it out the same afternoon. We discussed a few options and I decided to go with a new unit. They moved some things around to get me installed as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated since it is July in Bakersfield. They finished the job today. Showed up as scheduled, got the job done and cleaned up and left. It feels nice to have a working A/C again and I am confident if I were to have any issues that I'll be taken care of. Almost forgot to mention, I found the pricing to be fair and I didn't feel like I was trying to be sold like I did when I had another company come out.

Heater stopped working, our usual guys couldn’t come out to diagnose for a few weeks. My manager recommended I give South Valley a call. Aaron came out that same day and found the problem. After I was quoted the cost for repairs, I explained I was in a pinch and the owner accommodated me with a payment structure. Aaron cams back out with the needed parts and handled the repair in less than an hour. Absolutely an amazing and outstanding experience. The customer service, the labor time, the communication, the price, made this first experience with South Valley guaranteed I will be calling for my future A/C needs. Props to Aaron. Chris the owner and his company were truly godsent. He showed us such empathy and compassion after we had been taken advantage of by another company that left us without a working AC system after we cancelled their contract, but Chris and his team at sun valley stepped in immediately to help. They went above and beyond even working on a Saturday to replace our ducting and all the damage caused by the other company. As a mother to a special needs child, I cannot express enough gratitude for their kindness professionalism and urgency in making sure our home was safe and comfortable again.
