Called this AM because my whole unit stopped working overnight. He said he'll "be there in an hour", and they were here IN AN HOUR! After arriving, they had my unit working within an hour. Fixed for LE$$ than other hvac contractor's DIAGNOSTIC FEE! No 'upselling' what-so-ever. Very knowledgeable and honest. Thank you!

If folks are looking for a forever HVAC person then, Ted Hawley is the one for you!!! Mr. Hawley serviced my a/c unit for the first time approximately three weeks ago. He didn't rush through the service and when he was finished he explained everything he had done in easy to understand detail. He also told me that I didn't need to be spending the amount of money I have been on the a/c filters. I mean really folks, what HVAC guy goes out of their way to save their customer money??? Being a senior (on a fixed income), it is important to have a HVAC guy that I can trust. From here on out, Mr. Hawley is the only person I will allow to work on my a/c unit.

Our ac went out in temperatures over 100° and Hawley ac was booked out for 2 weeks and referred us to Hubbell Air who did a great job!!!! Thank you for for being honest and professional and referring a great company to us.

Great business ethic, came out while it was raining to work on our unit. Fortunately, nothing major was wrong with our unit, but he didn't attempt to gouge us and warned us of other companies business practices. Will be doing all our business with Ted from here on out.

I specifically told the owner no equipment had been purchased. He asked me this several times and I clearly told him nothing was purchased as we didn't even know what needed to be installed!! That was the whole point of asking for a consult. I'm not sure why the owner is lying but BE CAREFUL CUSTOMERS. Do not hire a business who lies. Such an obvious lie as well that doesn't even make sense!

Just called to ask for an HVAC installation. The guy told me I would never find someone to install that. Uhh What??? Oasis and Laverne and son already gave me quotes! I would surely question the owner's abilities. Bizarre.

I Googled Bakersfield Furnace Repair and this was first on the list. I called them and they were out within the hour. He showed up and was nice honest and very helpful. He fixed the issue right away and charged me a small diagnostic fee that covered the repair. Excellent and I would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Called to get a repair estimate, however since they were booked up a week out, they helped troubleshoot over the phone and referred me to a partner company. I appreciate the honesty and kindness. Will probably use them for future repairs.

I called Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend and he was so nice to squeeze me in between other appointments. He got my AC fixed and running very quickly. If I could give him 6 stars I would!

Outstanding Service. Ted was very professional and informative.
He thoroughly went through the AC unit and dianosed the problem. Then he went over the options. He is an honorable and trustworthy gentleman. I would highly recommend Hawley Air Conditioning and Heating.

Great service. Got me an appointment quick when my AC broke and my house was 89 degrees inside the night before when I got home from work... Super fair price.. was expecting it to be an arm and a leg and was so stressed out but it was a quick fix so only charged the diagnostic fee. =]

Had an issue with my air conditioning unit at my rental. Tenant called me on a Saturday morning of a day that was going to be in the triple digits. She has company from out of the state coming to visit the following week. I gave Ted a call and have to say this man was very knowledgeable and friendly. Told me honestly that he would put me in standby as he had a full schedule ( I can only imagine). So I called the tenant back and hoped for the best. Ted gave me a call a couple of hours later and said he had time right then to go look at it. Within 30 minutes he texted me back “ done “. Turns out a capacitor went south. He saved my tenants and myself a lot of grief. I will recommend this company to all of my friends and family. Thanks again Ted. Your awesome!!!!!!!

Mr.hawley installed a mini split ac for me. He did a great job from beginning to end. He was able to get me a rough estimate via email, in person estimate and install the unit in less than a week. All for a fair price. I’ll be taking all my business to him in the future.

I'm here to post long delayed review of Hawley AC & Heating in Bakersfield CA. I'm an out of town property owner who relies on "honesty & integrity" when dealing with maintenance and repairs issues! You can read the other positive 5 star reviews that all indicate Ted Hawley, the owner, has his name behind his business! I patiently waited my turn for a ductless mini split AC Heater install & was not disappointed with the results or the price!

Tremendous service, honest and unbeatable prices! I called Hawley Air Conditioning and Heating when my central air conditioning unit was not performing up to par. They took time out of a very busy Monday (A/C always goes out on the weekend, right!) to make a service call at my house. Steve quickly diagnosed the issue my unit was having and fixed the problem in no time. Before the service call, Ted and Steve patiently listened to my questions over the telephone and shared what they thought might be the problem. Sure enough - they were right. Steve also shared ideas on how I could avoid future service calls by performing simple maintenance tasks I can do myself. Hawley Air Conditioning and Heating is the best of the best. Don't hesitate to give them a call for your service needs.

Just wanted to share my experience with this company and its owner. I called this company looking for a possible service call on a recently installed mini split system. The owner was incredible! I mean I had so many questions and concerns and we discussed all of them for 33 mins. He took time out of his day to listen to a potential customer and I can't appreciate that more. This is what sets a company apart the details and professionalism. I can't wait to build my next project and have this company do the work this time around. Mr. Hawley you are a true professional. Our first meeting with Travis was fun, informative and not your typical "sales guy". What I loved was his helpfulness on finding solutions for our situation. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! Now, I can't say we didn't run into some issues, but it wasn't in their control. Murphy's Law was in full affect with parts and sensors but every single person from Charlie, Abby, Zach, Chandler, Catlin and Mitch made us feel like it was there personal mission to make it right. That is the key here, we invested our money in a company that actually cares. I can count on one hand the companies I trust, Hawley AC and Heating is number 1.

Clearly a scam. Everything about it is a red flag. Maybe I’m wrong. Been wrong before. But it’s not worth finding out for me.
