Allan was the tech for our home for the diagnosis and estimation. This service was provided for free. Allan was very thorough and incredibly knowledgeable as well as friendly. This may be some of the best service we've had in the area in terms of HVAC, there are a lot of folks who charge for this type of service and even as a free service Allan was incredibly thorough. Just through that alone it makes us want to go with AARD for all of our HVAC needs.

Longer version: Our system had been making a strange grinding noise every time we turned on the heat, and we could never figure out where it was coming from. On top of that, it took forever for air to reach the upstairs. The company that originally installed our system came out several times but couldn’t identify the problem. After so many visits with no real answers, I lost confidence in their work.

I started looking for another HVAC company and kept seeing great reviews for AARD, so I decided to give them a call. Scheduling was quick and easy, and they even offered a free inspection, which was a nice bonus.

To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first and expected a quick visit followed by a sales pitch. That wasn’t the case at all. When Joshua came out, he was incredibly thorough and took the time to carefully diagnose the issue instead of rushing through the appointment. He explained what he was seeing, gave us multiple repair options, and even changed our air filter for us before leaving. The next day we received a very reasonable estimate with several options, and once we approved the work they scheduled us within a few days after confirming the parts.

On the day of the repair, Allen was the technician who came out. What really impressed me was that instead of simply replacing the motor — which we initially believed was the problem — he took the time to listen to my concerns and re-evaluate everything. It turned out the issue wasn’t the motor at all, but the burner and a few other components.

Even better, Allen came up with a smarter and simpler solution for reducing our zones that required less work and actually saved us money. He also coordinated with his management team to get the necessary parts the same day so the repair could be completed properly. He took his time, tested everything thoroughly, and made sure the system was running perfectly before he left.

Overall, I’m incredibly impressed with the level of care and professionalism from AARD. It wasn’t just the technicians — the management team and office staff were also excellent throughout the process. It’s rare to find a company that is this responsive, honest, and focused on actually solving the problem rather than just selling a repair.
