I bought some Tesla batteries for electricity back-up for my home. I have salt water fish that will die if they don't have aeration...for which you need electricity. Plus I thought it'd be nice to use my cheap solar electricity during peak hours. I am very pleased with the product and customer service I receiving. Bill LaCommare was responsive to emails and very helpful during the whole process. I thank the team for hanging in there to help me apply and get a PGE rebate. I'd use this company again. Thanks Semper Solaris!

I marked unresponsive because I don’t consider me having to call them every two weeks for status updates responsive. Emails thanking me for contacting them is a slap in the face.

We started this process of a new roof and solar panel installation at the beginning of February 2023 to hopefully get in by the NEM 3.0 deadline. We’ve obviously missed the April deadline to lock in the old California rate.

Semper Solaris has had a response from the city regarding permits since March 2023 and have yet to do anything. After constantly being told that it’s being worked on and that they were waiting to hear back from the city, I called the city myself and found out that they were waiting for Semper Solaris to submit a filled out form and updated plans. So who’s lying? The company or the city? It’s almost JULY! We’re coming up on 5 months with nothing to show for it other than a loan that we will need to pay soon. If I could go back in time, I would not have signed a contract with this company. They have partial payment and I fear if I walk away from this I will lose that money.

Semper Solaris helped me understand my electrical usage and worked with me closely to design my home Solar System. Currently they are working with the city to obtain permits to install the system.

Installation has been completed and we are waiting for final inspection. Everyone from Bill (Sales) and Pablo (install crew) have been professional, timely and done quality work. I have especially appreciated the project status information provided at every step of the process. I would recommend Semper highly!

The virtual technical support with Josh was a very pleasant experience. He Walked me through the system and with his very clear guidance the problem was solved immediately. Josh is very knowledgeable, Remely, professional and compassionate to the needs of the customer. He’s a breath of fresh air.

This was a Tesla power wall with Enphase and integration into existing system. His team came and did an excellent job, and all the issues were resolved in a timely manner to get my system online.

Our generation now is excellent, the Tesla power wall worked great during the high flood Storm outages in northern California.

I would recommend this team to anyone.

These guys did a great job installing solar on our home. I think it was a challenging installation with a steeply-pitched roof, on an older property, and it was achieved with care and efficiency in a couple of days. Mike B, the electrical equipment installer was great, and worked with me to make sure our battery backup circuits were just right.

Warning. Have done 2 projects with semper. While they present well, when I later discovered that their work was out of code, they will not return my emails or calls, and are avoiding all responsibility for the problem they have left.

Nice sales reps until you get the aggressive texting if you don’t buy immediately. 50% higher price than middle bid.

Follow up after response from owner:
5 texts in two days is not "a few times". We also turned down the offer and acknowledged we would have considered Semper if they were competitive in pricing. This aggressive text campaign happen months after we rejected your quote.

Just had a new roof installed by Semper Solaris. The crew started a day early to avoid potential rain, completed removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof in two days, did a great job cleaning up, and the city inspector signed off the permit the next day. Overall I was very pleased and look forward to the next phase where they will install the solar panels. The project manager, Max, was very pleasant and responsive in touching base before, during, and after the roof installation. The new roof looks great!

We haven’t had our system installed yet but Semper has phenomenal with their support and keeping us involved and informed. Our site survey was conducted by a very knowledgeable and professional tech and went off without a hitch. We are very excited about getting our new system installed.

Seriously the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They were misleading in their sales pitch, promised install in two days (it took 5 months), were impossible to get a hold of with any issues and repeatedly lied to me about what was going on with my rebates and install. They installed one day and then didn't come back for two months to finish, then they had to come back another day weeks later to move the batteries that they installed because they said it didn't meet city code. Which was a lie, they were just too lazy to fix the drawings after they installed them differently than their original submission. The inspector confirmed this for me as he would have approved the change. They had to reschedule the inspection since the the first time the Semper Solaris technician forgot the correct tool. Weeks and weeks of delays to the point that the solar project I started in October was now in danger of not being active by the summer heat season.

Then, after waiting for 9 months for the SGIP rebate they told me that it was rejected and that I would have to change from NEM 2 to NEM3 to be qualified. They never followed up with me on the matter either. I called multiple times of the 9 months and then spent three weeks being pinged back and forth between customer service and my sales representative.

I would not recommend working with this group at all.

I have had continued EXCELLENT experiences with the entire Semper Solaris organization. From my self initiated contact with the sales person, to the planning process, the installation process to the technical support team. I want to take this opportunity thank Josh for his thorough support with my installed system. I am very happy with it and the investment has been paying off.

I recently worked with Timothy on a roofing project, and I couldn't be happier with his service. Timothy was extremely responsive--whether it was through email or text, he always replied quickly, even on weekends. It was clear he genuinely cared about addressing any concerns I had, and his empathy made the entire process much smoother.

Timothy also went above and beyond by offering to install gutter guards at no extra cost, which was a huge help. He took it upon himself to to fix a couple of minor issues due to some previous gutter installation glitches, although not his responsibility, ensuring everything was in top shape.

Overall, Timothy's attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile make him a standout project manager. I highly recommend him for any roofing project!

We had great experience with Robert and Tim. They explained the process up front, were on time and left the area clean every day. They also provided us with location options for the shut off boxes and circuit breakers. They picked the best spot and wiring done in the cleanest way possible. The printout provided to them was out of date and we also didn’t get much input from engineering, these guys had to run additional conduits in the crawl space. , The duo went out of their way to keep the wires under the house and the installation aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. Once done, they gave me a tutorial which was very helpful. In my opinion, they did a great layout. A big kudus to both.

I had a great experience with American Green Energy! From the very beginning, Gustavo, the salesperson who helped me, was extremely honest and upfront about everything. He wasn’t pushy at all, just really informative and patient with all the questions I had. It made a big difference because I felt like I could really trust him and the company.

My solar installation was completed about three weeks ago, and everything went really smoothly. The crew was professional, and the system looks great and is working just as promised. I'm already seeing the benefits! I’m super happy I chose American Green Energy and would definitely recommend them — especially if you can work with Gustavo!

Technician Josh D. helped me get my Tesla Batteries and solar system back on-line during a virtual trouble-shoot meeting on 7/22/25. We met for about 35-45 minutes where he accessed our system remotely and was a able to resolve the problem in a professional and friendly manner. I was impressed with his outstanding customer service which is rare these days. Very well done sir.

Linda C at Semper Solaris was very helpful in educating me on the logistics, financial aspects, and debugging next steps. Really appreciated her help through troubleshooting my microinverters!
