I have used Sean and his team twice for tree removal following landslide activity. The customer service is excellent and the price was not as high as some other companies. The crew was very prompt, was not bothered by the space constraints and steep hills on our property, and always works hard and does a thorough job. I have enjoyed working with them and will call again if we are in need of future tree work.

I needed to remove large tree which was located on my property but between my house and neighbor house. For the last year tree grow rapidly, and branches took over almost all space between houses.
Because of this tree position I was looking for knowledgeable company to remove that tree and Bartlett Tree Experts was right place to call to do this job.
From the first call and having genuinely nice conversation with Los Gatos office representative to the end of the project I feel very well taken care of:
* Appointment for estimation was scheduled with Arborist Frank Bombardier at the time and day for my convenience.
* Frank arrived in time and due to Covid-19 situation we communicated through the windows using cell phone .
Even I had 2 comparable estimates I choose Bartlett Tree because Frank send to me estimate in timely manner, was punctual, always follow up to my e-mails with questions right away and in very courteous way.
* Staff arrived at 7:30 am precisely as promised!!
* Bartlett Tree Experts using sophisticated technology equipment, which helps to do the job fast.
* But most important that staff is experienced and work in safe, accurate and well-mannered way.
I felt comfortable while all crew was working around the house: removing tree in the front and trimming other trees in backyard. Left property free of debris.

Filipe from Barlette Tree was very patient when he visited me and gave me an estimate. His crew and lead man did an A+ job on trimming my 25 year old Birch Tree. He lead man explanined in detail how they were going to tree my tree. I will have them trim trees in my backyard.

Sean and his team of Ben and Eli recently pruned our 70-year-old magnolia tree. They removed a large branch growing over the sidewalk and reduced other branches nearing power lines. They also removed other dead and crossing branches to reduce the weight of the branches and to allow more light to enter through the crown. They got rid of the pruned limbs and other debris and advised us about some roots growing above ground.

Sean, Ben, and Eli were knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of property. They did a great job pruning our magnolia tree. We wouldn't hesitate to have them back in the future to prune other trees in our yard.

And a few months later:

High winds caused two branches to break off on our sycamore tree. We immediately called Sean Davis. Sean and his team of Eli, Freddy, and Sebastian were to prune the rest of the tree before it suffered any more damage. Our tree was in the backyard, and their bucket truck would not fit down our narrow driveway. But they were able to climb the tree to prune the higher branches.

Eli knew which branches needed to be pruned, so the result was a balanced tree and a job well done. And they cleaned up afterwards and got rid of the pruned limbs and leaves.

You guys came out to trim the trees and do a fertilization on the same day. We've had other tree trimming services, but they just hack without any consideration for the health of the tree or aesthetics. We really appreciate Bartlett who has long standing arborists on staff who know what they are doing. We've been using you guys for years and the one time we didn't we really regretted. We'll continue using Bartlett for tree trimming and fertilization !

Everyone on the team that I interacted with was amazing. They were polite, timely and most importantly did an amazing job with tree trimming and also one removal which included a stump removal.

They took great care to make sure that nothing was damaged and also left the yard cleaner than they found it :). I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Bartlett Tree provides professional service and they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with their work, all at a very competitive price. I have had them out to my place in Santa Cruz twice now. Each time I got quotes from a few highly rated tree services in the area, and Bartlett consistently offered the best price. Sean is knowledgeable and friendly. The team was well equipped for even my huge redwood tree and big old oak trees, and got the job done fast. This last time I had to leave before they were totally done, and had hoped they would have pruned a tree more than they did. When Danielle called to get my feedback, I mentioned it but also didn't want to make a fuss, but they genuinely wanted me to be happy , welcomed the feedback, and the team ended up coming back and getting it 100% perfect. Highly recommend this company!

John (the licensed Master Arborist) came out and not only gave us a very comprehensive quote, but also educated us on the techniques behind tree trimming.
Then a two man crew came out and did an excellent job. Bartlett is a totally pro company. No they’re not the cheapest on the block but the quality and professionalism is worth a little more. They did a great job.

I have used Bartlett a couple times. Last time wasn't great. Today, they totally made up for it! Eli, Benjamin, Paris and Sebastian were quick and efficient, and paid close attention to what mattered to me. They checked in with me often. My yard is a certified wildlife refuge, so I am very concerned about all the critters. When they found a mantis egg case- first, they knew what it was, and then made sure to trim and save that branch for me. I will absolutely use Bartlett again, this crew turned around my previous hesitation. Thank you, guys!!

Just had tree service done by Bartlett. They came highly recommended from our neighbors. I can see why. Filipe, Eli, Alex and Paris were fantastic to work with. Communication and support during the quoting process was excellent as we explored the best approach for the work we needed done. Then they showed up right on time with lots of equipment to get the job done very efficiently. Communication and professionalism were top notch and they were very easy to work with. They were also very diligent about cleaning up after the job. Our trees never looked better! I highly recommend them.

I use Bartlett for all my tree service focusing mainly on trimming and feeding, and general advice. There are at my house approximately 4 times per year.
I really like the crews that they send out. They are thorough, respectful and always check to make sure that I am happy before they leave.
Eli is the head of the crew that works at my house - he is wonderful and I have asked that he come every time. Wonderful service. This last time he was with Paris and Alex, and they are equally competent and thorough.

Uriel, Freddie and Makai were excellent! They arrived on time and did a perfect job trimming and cutting back our two huge sycamore trees and our camellia tree. They were efficient and communicated well throughout the work. When they were done, they did a perfect job of cleaning up. I would highly recommend Bartlett for anyone.
