I hired West Valley Arborists to trim a row of trees on one side of my property. I am quite impressed by the professionalism, speed, and versatility of the crew. They trimmed each tree according to our exact specification which optimizes the light coming into each room while maintaining privacy. The crew cleaned up immaculately before they left as well.

I am very impressed with West Valley Arborists! We have 2 Blue Spruces that needed to be removed. Simon's crew showed up, have the job nicely done and cleanup the area thoroughly. Communication was well. I would highly recommend Simon/West Valley Arborists.

My tall cedars needed thinning so I wouldn’t lose another one like last year. They did a beautiful job, as well as cutting dead limbs off my apple and redwood ash. They arrived on time and it is much improved.

West Valley trimmed an oak tree at my home in Danville. The crew went to great lengths to protect my land and hard scape. They did a beautiful job trimming the tree and left the area cleaner than before they started. All that at a very fair price.

Overall, great experience. The crew was on time (actually, a little early), knowledgeable about our trees, and had excellent communication skills. If they had questions about one of the tasks regarding servicing one of our trees, they would ask before starting to ensure they understood what needed to be done. After they were done, they hauled away all of the pruned/cut tree parts. They do actually practice what preach about being environmentally aware-the tree parts get donated to schools that need mulch-not much gets wasted.

West Valley is excellent. They pruned and treated several Japanese maples, also removed and replaced an old, misshapen weeping cherry tree. Came on time, cleaned up perfectly. Very professional .Price was reasonable.

West Valley Arborists removed dead Birch tree in my front lawn and trimmed a Chinese Pistache canopy that as blocking a street light. They arrived on time and completed their work quickly. When they finished, they cleaned up after themselves excellently. The crew was careful not to damage any of the sprinklers in my front lawn, which was quite a challenge, since the tree they were taking down was right on top of them. The price for their work was reasonable. Their office staff was also very professional and helpful. I would be happy to recommend West Valley Arborists to anyone who needs tree work done.

I have a tree in my backyard that grew too large and dropped two very large branches during the latest winds storms. West Valley Arborists were able to thin-out the branches substantially and make the tree safe as well as attractive. It was a lot of work that required climbing and manually cutting the branches. They did a great job and for much less cost than I anticipated.

Simon is an outstanding professional who is prompt, courteous, listens well, explains what will be done, and has a professional crew that is efficient, extremely competent, and does great work. They clean up well and stand behind their work. Any problems are always addressed and fixed without any question. I have used this company for several years and Simon has kept my specimen cedar tree and oak tree in great shape and I highly recommend him and his company. I had a 70 year old Hollywood Juniper that was threatening to fall down during the last major storm and Simon came and looked at it the next day after I called to report it. He had his crew at my place by noon and the tree was removed by 4 pm saving me from having some serious problems. This was when the storm was still happening and they did the work in the rain. What a relief for me.

We just had the West Valley Arborist crew out to our Sunnyvale home and they did an exceptional job. It was the best trimming of our two orange trees in 25 years. They also removed a magnolia tree in our backyard that sadly we had to lose but done with great skill. The team also provided our trees with needed nutrients as they have struggled of late. Knowledgeable, skillful, productive and good communication. My family recommends Simon and his team highly and will hire them again.

I have been a customer of West Valley Arborists Tree Service for at least 5 years now, and use them exclusively for all my tree needs. Why? Simon is a pro who knows his craft well -- and knows how to maintain the integrity of trees while enhancing their natural beauty. I have several huge trees on my property that Simon and team prune on an annual basis and without fail, I receive compliments on the trees every year! The crew that Simon works with is also very professional. I had my trees trimmed a few weeks ago and his team made sure that I was completely satisfied with each and every tree before they packed up. And, they leave the yard and surroundings in tip / top condition. I have recommended Simon to several people who have become loyal customers as well. The bottom line is this: West Valley Arborists is a business that has a knowledgeable and professional team, delivers excellent service, and is reasonably priced. They might not be the cheapest, but they are the best - fully insured, they guarantee the work and they do an outstanding job. I imagine that as long as Simon is leading the business, I will be a customer!

This is the second time I have worked with this company. They are always very responsive and helpful. I had a tree come down in our yard about a month ago during a huge storm. Despite the storm, Simon came out the same day I called. Unbelievable! They returned later that same day to remove the tree. Also unbelievable! You can tell these folks really know their stuff. They are responsive, professional and honest.

I had a dead birch tree that I was worried would fall over. I got several estimates for tree removal. While West Valley Arborists didn't have the lowest estimate, it was the lowest among what I consider professional companies.

While they were busy, as all tree service companies appear to be, they were very responsive in keeping me up to date, including scheduling an appointment and the time window of arrival. The job took more than the 1 hour that they estimated, but that was not a problem. They removed the tree and ground the stump away. I paid over the phone and the deal was done. No more dangerous, dead tree. My thanks to West Valley Arborists.

West Valley Arborists is the best in my experience and opinion!!! The owner is honest, and reasonable and cares since I have lots of trees etc.. on my property!! Excellent and I will never change from their services, The staff, owner and Crew are awesome and after the job they clean thoroughly!!! The best!!

The whole process from getting a quote to the actual work being done was as simple as you'd want it to be.
We scheduled the work after the quote was sent, the pricing was well within reason of what we were looking for.
The crew showed up on time, were absolutely professional and courteous to my girlfriend who was at the house at the time.
I was sent pictures of the finished work and was really pleased with their work, their level of responsibility and care to cover the driveway with plywood to keep any branches from potentially damaging the concrete as well as the clean up being spotless.

I would highly recommend West Valley Arborists for any of your tree trimming needs, I will definitely be using them again for any tree related work I will need in the future.
