Victor and his team were really great, did an awesome job and I am very pleased with the work done. They were here on time, worked efficiently and made sure I understood what they did and shared what I needed to know.

Did a great job on our home. Everyone that came out was very professional. Only 1 caveat is, they could improve communication to homeowner about exact timelines and process "after" the panels on/installed and 30 day wait from city, exactly how its another 2-3 weeks AND if 1 glitch happens, another 3 weeks wait to fix and submit( city always sent me next day approval after empower submitted( took empower 3 weeks to submit drawing change on wire #mistake so plans didnt match what was actually installed). Other than that, very happy with everything they did. I also think ALL appointments should be with the city at the same time planned out. They can always be rescheduled, if a delay happens, but getting initial dates correctly planned out with city is priority, becuz they fill up so fast. 4-1/2 stars. Always room to strive for improvement.

Honesty and reliability go a long way. It's hard to find honest people these days but Dirk is one of them. He was honest and thorough. You can tell he loves his job. I'm glad I chose them to come help out with the HVAC problem I was having with the heating side. He got it all fixed while also getting me a great price. I highly recommend them.

My AC was blowing warm air and not really cooling the house. With the unit on the roof, it was a bit out of reach for me to check, so I called Dirk & Sons and they provided me the much-needed assistance! When I met with Dirk he immediately got to business and went up to check and diagnose the issue. Turns out I had a blown capacitor, and he immediately went out to get the correct one according to my unit. With some final checks, he booted up the AC, and in no time, I had fresh cooling air coming out of my ducts! Dirk and Anthony both came out and fixed my outside unit, it wasn’t cooling but now it’s working great. They also did a full service on my system to make sure I was ready for summer.

Dirk & Sons Heating and Air did an absolutely amazing job! They installed a brand new energy-efficient air conditioner, completely redid my ductwork, added a mini split in my garage, and even upgraded the vent in my master bedroom. My water heater went out and it was replaced the same day!! Less than 24 hours is unheard of when it it comes to maintenance. The techs went above and beyond our expectations. Super friendly, focused, and fast! I highly recommend them.

Great people

I ordered counter tops, granite special for $41/sq foot. Home Depot uses Duracite for the fabrication and install, the granite comes from Daltile here in Clovis. You go to the yard and are able to pick out your own slab. I liked that!
From order date to install it took about 4 weeks. I ordered on Feb 22, template date March 8th, I could have had it sooner but we wouldn't have had old tile ones removed in time, and install was tentatively scheduled for April 1st, which Duracite met. Once we had our templating done it was 3 weeks for fabrication.
Everything went perfectly, Duracite handled the install professionally and on time. This was something that had me really concerned they could deliver on. The reviews on Yelp were bad. I was very nervous until I looked at the location of the reviewers. They're mostly SO Cal! Southern CA Duracite is separate from the one up here. The one down there has bad reviews but up here they didn't. The one in our area is great!
If you're trying to decide wether it's a good idea to use home depot for your granite install, I can say with confidence they will do great! I had changes in my order, they issued refunds right away. I added a window sill to my order & I could have paid over the phone.
The special order lady Jessica is so nice and very efficient, and she's new! I'd have never known if someone hadn't told me. The lady who helps her is also amazing!
From order day to install I had no issues. Contacting Duracite, I always got a representative, Grace. She was clear, kind and answered any questions I had.
Install crew were Jamie (pronounced Hymay) & Fidel. One spoke English and was very nice, the other was the main laborer, did all the measuring and cutting, very nice but spoke little English. They got my 45sq ft of counter top done in about 4 hours. They were scheduled for 9am, got here at 9:10 & didn't stop until it was done well after 12:30. They modified one of my cabinets to accommodate my under mount Swanstone sink and made it look amazing! It almost didn't fit! Jamie relayed any questions or options to us in English and asked before any cuts for faucets were needed. He was good to make us aware of their recommendations but left the decisions up to us.
I think because they ran late the final touches were a little rushed. I'm sure they were starving. The caulk line around my sink had a spot that didn't get filled all the way in and they left some glue spots on the granite in numerous places. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker for me. They took their time getting the job done rt, last minute details that I can touch up myself are not a big deal. The glue scraped right up and the caulk around the sink can be fixed. If that stuff bothers you just be sure to look everything over really well and have them fix it before they leave. I do wish they'd not have cleaned everything up and taken all their stuff out before I looked it over. But I think we were ready for them to be done as much as they were!
I hope my experience will help you decide. I was so nervous to go with home depot. My dad, a general contractor on So Cal, told me not to. Being in the business down there he knows how bad they are! This is the first time not following dad's advice worked out for me! Lol! I'm so happy we went with the Depot! I love my new counter tops and I have a good experience to hang onto.
