Had a great experience with Got Watts from the first touch point through the installation and inspection process of our new solar system and whole house fan. They have a portal that shows what the process is and where you are in it. I got messages informing me anytime the status changed. Everyone I met from the company was super personable and on top of things. The communication was wonderful and Mallory kept me updated every step of the way. Anytime they came out for site survey, install and inspection I got a text message ahead of time letting me know when they would arrive. All-in-all it was an experience that surpassed my expectations.

Highly recommend this company to anyone else looking for solar or electrical!

From the original proposal through implementation, GotWatts impressed me with their professionalism and their responsiveness. The process was smooth, expectations throughout were clearly defined and met, and their customer portal was an excellent medium for communicating with the various people who were working on our project. A special callout for Alejandro and Enrique, who came onsite to handle the bulk of the implementation and were diligent in their problem-solving efforts as they worked through the reality of applying the design to our home.

I had GotWatts install a solar system and battery recently, and it was an excellent experience all around. Within a short time of my initial inquiry, Troy came out and gave me an estimate of cost and electricity production, and answered the many questions I had.

The installation itself was quick, done in two days. John, Kevin and Steven did a great job, stayed in constant communication about how things were going and when they'd be done, and were a very professional crew all around.

The inspection was handled with aplomb by Marc, and we are up and running and producing more electricity than we initially expected, and it's early November. I can't wait to crank the AC with a clear conscience next summer.

In the front office, Dan, Anthony, Mallory and Jenn were quick to answer any questions I had, and shepherded me through all the initial paperwork. The entire process, which I somewhat feared would be kind of a pain, was very smooth and easy.

Now, if only PG&E would get off their rear ends and approve my permission to export, I'd be thrilled (note - this has nothing to do with GotWatts, the wheels of bureaucracy grind slowly)

We got quotes from a few different (and non-local) solar install companies. Got Watts was able to guarantee (AND BEAT) the deadlines for getting our roof top solar installed. Not a lot of installers will work with cement tile, but Got Watts did a great job. Dan and his team prepped our electrical and removed our existing solar thermal/pv and left everything clean and tidy. Jose, Jason and their trainees did a great job explaining and making sure the install went clean, and even came back to complete the job on a hot day. Mallory and the rest of the office folks kept us informed and our project on track. Gus made the inspection and commissioning a walk in the park and answer my many questions. I am very happy to also have met Troy for our initial site survey. I hope they keep up the great work.

I had an excellent experience with this company. I picked them since unlike other solar installers, they also do HVAC and all around electrical work. So this is a company that would last.

Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident from start to finish and did an outstanding job 100%. Jarrett, my initial point of contact, was prompt in providing a quote, and took time to explain it even past the regular working hours. Anthony, Did the site visit and assessment was patient and looked into documenting the current site conditions to make sure there are no surprises with install.

The office group of Lindsay, Jennifer and Mallory was accommodating even when I added an EV charger to the scope in the middle of the project, without adding to the timeline for the project. The electrical crew, Daniel, Joe and Waylon not only completed the work flawlessly but also took the time to identify and fix an unrelated issue in my house that I never knew, and made things right. A separate rooftop crew installed my panels (Jose, John, Jason, Kevin, Isaac and Steven) in half the day, even took time to do their exercise as a group for safety. Lastly, the knowledgeable Marc who did the Inspection and Commissioning was very patient with my questions and I felt as ease since Got Watts as a group definitely know their stuff.

I would definitely call them again for future projects in my house.

We used Got Watts for solar panel installation on two houses and most recently a solar backup battery. Their proposals were by far the most detailed and best organized. Installations were seamless. We needed the solar battery installed quickly to get a rebate, and they installed it within a few days. Prices were competitive and service was outstanding!

Got Watts exceeded all expectations with our solar installation. After comparing several companies, their no-pressure approach and transparent pricing won us over.

Jarrett and Jeremy were incredibly knowledgeable during the initial process, answering every question thoroughly without any pushy tactics. Once we signed on, the coordination was flawless. Mallory, Jennifer, and Lindsay handled everything efficiently. Arnold and Anthony were great and thorough as well.

Dan was our project manager and was absolutely fantastic—patient, smart, and always followed through on every commitment. The installation crew, including Joe, John, James, and Marc, was professional and efficient. They completed the work faster than expected while maintaining exceptional quality. Marc handled the final inspection and patiently walked us through everything.

Got Watts continues to do amazing work for us. They're prompt, attentive, and do high quality work. We originally had them install a large solar array and a couple of batteries for us. We recently had them out again to add another battery, move a circuit, and add a new outlet. They graciously squeezed us in to accommodate my wife who was imminently giving birth and finished the work quickly and cleanly. I wish we could find other trades that meet the Got Watts level of service and support!

Got watts is incredible. Dont hesitate. Eric is so professional and experienced. They are meticulous about safety and quality and were on time had all the parts and even dealt with permits!!! They come on time and are available for service and tweaking. Ben and Jed were especially great to putting in a 3 unit heat pump system. We’ve used them now twice and really like his company and their people.

Got Watts? was excellent. I got quotes from 5 different solar companies and Got Watts? offered me the best value in terms of price, equipment, installation flexibility, and overall customer service. I recommend them to anyone who it thinking about getting solar or batteries. I will likely use them in the future if I need any general electrical work done at my house also. The guys in the office that started off the process, Dan and Anthony did a great job of getting me set up with exactly what I needed, answered my questions thoroughly, and offered recommendations based on what I thought that I wanted. The install team of Danny and Telmo were awesome too. I did not hesitate if I had to step away for a few hours during the install and realistically I did not need to be there for any of it. Their experience shows. I did not interact with the rooftop guys Jose and Jason much, but from what I saw from the ground, their installation is excellent. It all passed inspection on the first try and Marc took care of everything with the county inspector. I am an incredibly satisfied customer and if you are thinking about getting solar, you should at least get an estimate from Got Watts?

We've been live with our solar and battery system for about 4 months now, and we are very happy with the system Got Watts put together for us.

We got quotes from 6 different places, and while Got Watts was not the cheapest quote, we were confident they would get the job done with the highest quality install. They were also able to include our panel upgrade in the work. We appreciated that they are able to handle all the paperwork, appointments, permits, and reviews - there's a lot to do!

Each team member we worked with along the way were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions. Jarrett in Sales helped us understand solar and battery basics, and created several proposals to help us decide the best system for us. Danny and his team did all the electricity and wiring work in our home, and we were appreciative they took time and care to keep things neat and clean, especially since the access to the attic space was in our daughter's room. John and Steve installed our panels, and Mark did our final day install and walkthrough. Everyone was great!

Semper Solaris was willing and able to do what many other solar companies refused to. Which was to install a battery backup system for a previously installed solar power system that was installed by another company. They did not require us to add more solar panels like some companies required. Also, they were able to tie into our current solar power system without voiding the warranty of the system.

Our first in-person contact with Semper Solaris was Bill LaCommare. He was our sales representative from Semper Solaris. He is incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. By the end of his visit we know how much the system would cost, approximate time of installation, what we were getting and what we could expect in performance of the battery back up system. Great guy, with luck he will be your sales rep too.

We received timely emails from Semper Solaris that updated us on how things were proceeding and expected time frames of the next steps such as planning, permitting, installation and inspection. Calls from Sean Moses prior and during installation were helpful for our preparation for the installers and information on payment.

The installers did an excellent job. They were clean, courteous, professional and efficient. Bernard called me both days prior to arrival. He also went over how the Tesla Powerwall system worked after the install. The install is clean and so was the worksite at the end of each day. Thank you to Bernard and his assistant for doing such a good job.

We had our first meeting with Bill on July 9th. Our install was finished on Thursday September 8th. We will have an inspection from the city on Monday. That is very efficient considering what planning, scheduling, permitting and installing that had to be done. Thank you Semper Solaris!

Got service good manners, able to answer our concerns

We went with Semper Solaris because we wanted a company that took pride in their work and accountability as well. It was nice to have a contact who was aware of all that was going on. David Cassidy was very helpful anytime I had questions, Gwen was so helpful with scheduling and letting us know what was next. The roofing, solar and HVAC team were all very professional yet friendly, and were easy to communicate with. They send a team for each job, and they are experts at what they do. I appreciate everything being held to high standards and to city codes.

Tito and Juan were extremely courteous and helpful. They were a pleasure to work with anybody would be lucky to have hired them.

Branden was on time and very polite. He was knowledgeable and thorough. Would recommend.

Your tech Trevor Grannis is fantastic! He showed true sincere concern that all things were done correctly. He not only went above and beyond to correct the items found by the City inspector, but found other issues and corrected them. He is great and a very good asset to Sempter. I am disappointed however in the Heat and Air instal crews I selected Sempter because I am a Patriot and my dad was a lifer Military Man. I expected given the advertising of Sempter, that all things would be done correctly and with the excellence one expects from "American made" The instal crew not only did several things wrong and thank goodness that the city inspector and Trevor caught them, but also left a very messy work area with trash and debri that should not have been left. They did not properly seal areas that are out in the elements and broke a pipe trap and didn't fix it as well as not meet codes in other areas. I am not happy with that service but Trevor did do a great job. I really want him for the upcoming annual maintenance I will be having. Thank you for reading this. Hopefully you can give more direction to the install crews on expectations.

Caesar did a great job despite the 109 degree F heat wave that day! He was both professional and thorough during his inspection. I appreciated his meticulous attention to his job and gladly rewarded him with some cold, refreshing water to help recover from the heat.

Trevor is an asset to your company. He got right into the system to find the issue, and did it within five minutes. He didn't try to make excuses or take the easy way. He's one of the best tech's I've ever had come to my home. I know staff, and he's someone you want to hold on to.
