Good luck getting a permit from them! We installed a heater 5 months ago. They were in so much rush to get their money that they called and asked for a credit card info while the technician was still in our home finishing the work!! The guy that installed our heater didn’t run a pipe to outside the garage claiming the inspector might not have an issue, what if they do?? Are we suppose to pay you another fee to come fix your mistake? In addition we paid extra to so they get the permit submitted to the city on our behalf. It’s been 5 months and I have called 5 times, every time I call they say their permit guy is on a break and they will email and mail the permit. It’s been 2 months of calling and no permit yet. They either don’t apply for permit and claim they do, or know they have screwed something on the heater installation and won’t get a permit. I’ll keep calling till I get my permit.

Diego and his partner did a great job! They were prompt ( actually came before the window), very polite and tidy. He answered my questions about another issue that I will address in the future too. I highly recommend them for any plumbing issue.

Company was assigned as part of my First American home warranty. I got an appointment for two days after I filed my initial claim. The company had great communication about when the technician would arrive. The technician was very professional fix my problem quickly and did a great job of explaining what it occurred and what could possibly happen if it continues

AJ Bono Plumbing's Crew made a daunting fix sting less. We uncovered a slab leak in our new home with freshly installed new floors. After confirming the leak and getting clearance with our warranty company, AJ's crew came up with the best solution to fit our warranty and have the least destruction. Their crew was friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Even though it was a big repair, they made it the least invasive as humanly possible and were skilled in their repair. We took on a fixer upper with a newborn, a toddler, and a dog. It is reassuring we can rest at ease that at least our plumbing is solid.

Ignacio was very personable, professional, and able to explain along the way what was wrong with my water heater parts. He was also excellent at following up with me separately as my mother had to hold the appointment for me which was very much appreciated! He went above and beyond to also trouble shoot a faulty part that was just purchased for my repair which included a second trip to the hardware store all for a same day completion!

Ramon to the rescue!

We had a blockage in the main line and the water in our shower and toilets started rising like it was trying to audition for a water park. I reached out to our home warranty company and they connected us with the plumbing company that sent Ramon out.

From the moment he arrived, Ramon was friendly, professional, and really good at explaining what he was doing. He walked me through each step so I was never in the dark about what was going on (which is especially comforting when your toilet looks like it’s plotting against you). He worked efficiently, cleared the blockage, checked that everything was flowing properly again, and wrapped up the job promptly.

What could’ve been a really stressful, gross situation turned into a smooth experience thanks to Ramon. I really appreciated his communication, his calm attitude, and the fact that he got everything back to normal so quickly. Highly recommend Ramon for any plumbing issues.

Rafael with AJ Bono Plumbing is by far the nicest plumber I’ve ever worked with. He really knows his stuff and takes the time to walk through everything in a way that actually makes sense. He was patient, calm, and genuinely empathetic about my situation, especially since I had been without a water heater for 3 weeks and 2 days. That alone meant a lot.

He handled the job with care and never made me feel rushed or brushed off. It’s rare to find someone who is both skilled and kind, and he showed up with both. He’ll be my go-to plumber from here on out for anything I need. Highly recommend him!!

Alex and his team came out to change our main shutoff valve through a home warranty claim. He was very professional and communicative and performed the work without any issues. The main office also scheduled our work promptly. It was a great experience!

Our tech Diego was great! He came out next day, after we put a request in with our home warranty company. We have a little older water heater and that part needed isn’t manufactured anymore. He was able to source the part needed and had it shipped as fast as it could. He was professional and was able to explain what exactly was wrong with the water heater.
