We purchased a new office space for our Design Firm and South Star did an amazing job with the renovations and repairs that were needed to create a beautiful and inviting working environment. They listened to our expectations and needs and delivered more then we anticipated! As we continue to grow, we will always call on South Star for all our construction needs.

Got our first quote from John the owner of the company he was straight forward and recommended that we get other estimates but he backs the quality of his work. Spoke with a few different contractors for our remodel and decided to go with SouthStar, there was constant communication throughout the whole process. The company did a great job and I would 100% recommend them to my friends and family, great family company!

After vetting four kitchen contractors I selected Southstar. My goal is to always source local vendors when possible, so I was pleased to find Southstar here in Corona.
John and his crew took my kitchen from “Nineties to Nifty in about 3 weeks.
With 15 years in the construction/purchasing field, I have become finicky regarding customer service. John’s responsiveness and communication skills put me at ease and made me feel this was a collaborative effort.
Some of the notable challenges in remodeling my kitchen was my 28-year tile. They took such care that no tiles were broken during installation. Drywall repair and paint were minimal. I never sensed they were rushed and attention to detail (trim, outlet placement etc) is equally important to Southstar.
My overall experience with Southstar was so outstanding that when I needed additional electrical work on my home, I didn’t hesitate to call John.
I do not give 5 star reviews lightly, but felt my kitchen remodel experience warranted one.

John is the most helpful and honest person I have ever worked with. He didn't try to take advantage of me because I was a woman. He walked ne through fixing my issue and he was very patient and understanding. He really cared! To all you women out there who are looking for someone to help you while being honest and charging a fair price, this is the company!

We had a garage conversion completed and the results were amazing! John was very professional and had great insight when we discussed what our vision was for our ADU. He has a hard working team with phenomenal workmanship. My husband and I would highly recommend his company for any project. You will love the results!

We worked with Rizk Construction for the replacement of a stair railing and lighting. John’s crew was excellent. They were wonderful to work with, professional and went above and beyond what was required of them. They were very attentive to our needs. We are very pleased with the finished product and proud to show it off to family and friends. We will definitely use their services for future projects.

John Rizk’s construction company remodeled our kitchen and did an excellent job. They demolished the old cabinets and countertops, hauled the old stuff away, and installed new cabinets and quartz countertops. The new cabinets are in perfect condition and have soft closing drawers and cabinet doors.

The electrical work was top notch and a lot of old issues were fixed including lining up all the outlets and light fixtures, which were previously uneven.

The employees arrived on time each day, were clean, friendly, and respectful and they cleaned up at the end of each day. They were a pleasure to have over each day and trustworthy. John the owner is very knowledgeable and affordable. Each day I am shocked at how great everything turned out. They made my house feel like a model home. I highly recommend Rizk Construction to my family, friends, and everyone looking for great quality at a great price! Very honest and reliable.

Just had two bathrooms remodeling projects completed by Rizk Construction, a master bathroom and a full bathroom. Rizk Construction is the real deal, John and his crew are the A-Team! Their work was excellent. The quote was competitive, the team showed up on time everyday, were highly professional and pleasant to deal with and were very attentive to detail. Not one minor detail was skipped over, everything was discussed with us during the project to ensure the final product was to our satisfaction. The pictures speak for themselves. Southstar Construction did a wonderful job in building my ADU in Fontana. John the Project Manager was proactive during the whole process; from the plans, design, permits, to construction, and through the final city approvals. His crew were very talented and professional; knew exactly what they were doing. The team gave me feedback when I was unsure. They were very good communicators and were available to answer any questions that I had. It has just the right amount of space for me. Construction was completed timely and the pricing was reasonable for what I wanted. I truly recommend Southstar Construction. I really love love love my new ADU!!!

I hired another contractor who left me with a huge mess -unfinished and unpermitted work. John was referred to me and has been absolutely incredible with getting my renovation back on track, he not only gave me advice but helped me get to the point where am finally feeling like there is a light at the end of this nightmare of a renovation. He helped get me connected to quality subcontractors who were honest, fair and completed work on time. I am so thankful to have been referred to John, you won’t regret working with him!

We came to SouthStar to build an ADU on my grandparents property. At first we considered getting a manufactured home vs. an ADU. John and his team were extremely knowledgeable and not pushy.

We ultimately went with SouthStar for the ADU build out and couldn’t be more happy with the results. He was able to work within our budget and still give us a beautiful finished product. You can probably find someone cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Save yourself the headache.

TCDC is a great well established contractor that is able to self perform a lot of work which is a huge savings for project owners. They are well managed, and have excellent employees who provide great quality work. In addition to underground work, they excel at tenant improvements and new construction
