After having our motor replaced last year for our AC then earlier this month our condensing fan motor gave out completely which made the inside of the house so muggy.But a very big thank you to Tanya for making the arrangements to have Moe install the condensing fan motor & making everything working well again completely with the new motor.Freon level was fine.Commuincation was very well with both Tanya & Moe.The pricing fit our budget & if anybody has Air Conditioning problems is to call Basic Air.They are the best.I would very highly recommend.Very happy that Tanya called the next morning to make sure everything went well with the 1st day of the new motor and coolness inside the house.I thank you Tanya for what you and your team did.You have a customer for life Tanya.I need some more business card to refer Basic Air to others.

I can't say enough great thing about Basic Air. Everything was five star- from the personal customer service to the excellent work they do, not to mention my super quiet AC. Absolutely amazing and would recommend again and again. Great work!!

We used Basic Air a few years ago to install our HVAC System in our home and the process and installation was smooth and seamless. Since then, we have used Basic Air to perform our regular maintenance and most recently, we had them install a new wifi-enabled thermostat, which is a huge help for a family on the go.

We have been very pleased with the company's willingness to answer questions over the phone and to prioritize residential work, especially in the summer.

I am truly blown away by the level of professionalism and care presented by the guys here at basic. After calling quite a few different businesses to try to fix the air conditioning in my house in Trabuco Canyon, I came across basic air and had a pleasant phone call with Abraham and set up an appointment for the following business day which was this past Monday. They showed up to my house exactly at the time the appointment was which is a nice refresher from previous services I tried to get from other businesses. The level of work was top notch and the pricing was more than fair. Like I said before I am completely astonished at how great my experience was. I am a straight shooter and I have to say that they were as well and exceeded my expectations. I have already set up another appointment for my business's Air conditioning unit. Basic Air was anything but! They removed and replaced my HVAC system, updated the in-room registers and added all new ducting. In addition, they fixed a bunch of mistakes my previous installation had made, taking the time to upgrade my electrical panel to properly support the unit, applying sealant to areas that had not previously had it (how did the previous guy miss that?), and even fixing a leak that had developed in my roof from the shoddy work of the earlier install. The crew showed up on time, did the work well, and was very professional. The price was perfect, and the service quality was even better.

We are very happy with the service / installation provided by basic air. After lengthy research on heat pumps I decided on Daikin. We then researched Daikin installers in our area. From the start we felt comfortable with Basic Air. They provided a competitive quote for a well thought through configuration. The install went well and we are very happy about the unit. It is very quiet - you basically don't hear it.

Basic air is amazing, and the people there are such great people and very friendly. My air conditioner stopped working and they were able to help me from start to finish. Very pleased with the customer service we received from Basic Air. They were originally recommended by our Real Estate Agent a few years ago for a heater installation. We did not hesitate to call them back to reinstall our existing heater from the ground floor to the attic and install new air conditioning. Their installers were timely, professional and efficient. Importantly, their crew are problem solvers. When a small electrical problem occured (due to an issue from a previous electrical repair by another provider), both Hanzel and Hussein stayed on it, figured it out and it was repaired at not additional cost. They are a family business that appreciates and values their customers and cares for their employees. We recommend Basic Air for all your heating and air conditioning services.

I am blown away by the professionalism and kindness of all the employees I dealt with at Basic Air. Vik was referred to me by a neighbor. He was polite on the phone, referred me to Tanya in the office, who promptly set up a same-day inspection by Moe. They checked everything out and determined all I needed was a new filter.

This alone is no big deal, but they were a second opinion after Cole's Service came out to service our HVAC unit and compressor that they installed in 2018. The told me my inside unit was shot - new filter, damaged coil and damaged motherboard...blah, blah, blah...they also suggested we replace the compressor since is was old and they wouldn't warranty the inside unit running off an old compressor. Bottom line, they wanted to charge me $21K for what turned out to be unnecessary work. They saved me $21K and have earned my business and loyalty for life!

Moe and Jacob the Technicians from Basic Air are Phenomenal, Excellent above and Beyond their call of Duty to spend the time and patience with my Thermostat to get me connected to the internet !!! They Deserve this e Highest Award and. Best Accalades anyone can offer them

Vik and Hozanna Megerdichian were phenomenal to work with. We had numerous delays due to conflicts with overlapping construction with our pool remodel. Throughout the process, Vik and Hozanna were very accommodating and easy to work with. Their team began with asbestos abatement; however, we had to reschedule numerous times. When it was time for our installation, the Basic Air team explained the steps as they went to work. They were very professional, courteous and helpful. They knocked out the install in two days, despite our tight attic and furnace space. They had to remove the casing and door. In the course of putting things back together, nicks and gouges were inevitable, as was a minor crack in the hallway ceiling. I advised Vik and he took care of it as soon as possible by sending his drywall repairman, Albert. Everything was taken care of by Vik and Hozanna. It was refreshing to have a family run business do what they say they will do and follow through. I had no worries at all dealing with Vik and Hozanna, and their awesome team. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BASIC AIR! THANK YOU.

UPDATE- On 4/3/22, SC Edison's transformer had blown, causing our AC equipment to burn out. I called Vik on 4/4 and in 2 hours, Ryan from Basic Air showed up to troubleshoot the problem. The transformer, thermostat, motherboard and internal fan were burnt out. Ryan buttoned everything up and said he would come back once the parts could be ordered, which he warned us could take a few days dur to availability. The next day on 4/5, to our surprise, Tonya from Basic Air called and said Ryan was on his way with the parts. Ryan repaired or replaced all of the parts required and tested our system. Everything was back in good working order! We could not have been more pleased with Vik, Ryan, Abe and Tonya's assistance and professionalism in getting our system operational in such record time. Basic Air is outstanding, I don't believe we would have received such great service anywhere else. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, BASIC AIR!

Wow! I’m pretty blown away how amazing this company is. We had them install a new system a year ago. It started making some vibrations a year later and they quickly came out to inspect it and see what was going on. They were not happy with the way the system was working so contacted the manufacturer and got them to replace the unit. Not only that they were able to upgrade the system for me. Now our ac is amazing and keeps our house perfectly comfortable at all times. This is a family owned business and you can feel the care and love they have for their business and clients. The owner and his son are the type of people you wouldn’t mind grabbing a beer with or sharing a meal. We will only use them moving forward and recommend them to all family and friends.

I had to call in a second opinion after a local company suggested a full replacement of my home's heat pump system, which would have cost me an arm and a leg. The technician from Carter & Sons Heating & AC Company, steven, spotted signs of a refrigerant leak near the heat pump, something that was completely overlooked in the initial inspection. He traced the leak back to a pipe joint. After fixing the issue, steven proceeded to purge, recharge and test the entire system. He found that everything was working as it should. This saved me from having to shell out a ton of money. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism displayed by steven. It's quite reassuring to see such diligence in Costa Mesa.

I was having trouble with my furnace and even though I had tried restarting it, it just wouldn't work. So, I decided to seek professional assistance. I reached out to several service providers but they didn't seem interested in understanding the specific problem or the error code my furnace was displaying. Instead, they were quick to quote hefty fees ranging from $175-$250 just for someone to come and inspect the furnace. However, when I contacted another service provider, my experience was different. For the first time, they actually asked me to describe the problem and the error code. They suggested that I switch off the breakers and leave them off for more than 10 minutes (I had tried this previously but not for such a long duration). This simple advice proved to be a game changer - it completely fixed the issue with my furnace. I was relieved that I didn't have to shell out $200 just for someone to come and diagnose the issue. Much appreciated!

I can't recommend Carter & Sons Heating & AC Company enough for your hvac needs. Their service is absolutely top-notch. I switched out an ancient furnace and AC for a state-of-the-art air source heat pump, and brought in a tankless water heater to take the place of my old, gas heater. They also repositioned the outdoor condenser to a more suitable spot around the side of the house. The entire project left me extremely satisfied, from the initial stages to the completion. The team was efficient, finishing the task quicker than expected, and they stuck to the initial budget without any hidden charges. Their quote was competitive and they were punctual. They took into consideration any inconvenience caused during the project, their work was of high quality, and they made sure to tidy up once they were done. They ensured everybody was on the same wavelength before commencing the project in the morning, and checked everything was in order at the end of the project during the inspection. They were also flexible with their invoicing, accommodating my request to pay using a credit card over two billing cycles. Communication was always straightforward and effective, and their work was superb. They managed to turn my home into a comfortable and energy efficient space. I'm truly enjoying the new system, the smart thermostat controls are a particular highlight. I'm really glad i chose to upgrade my hvac system. Thanks for doing an excellent job.

My heater broke down and I was connected with Carter & Sons Heating & AC Company via a warranty company. They were quick to respond and came to inspect it without delay. It turned out that the heater needed a replacement and there were some more electrical issues. Carter & Sons Heating & AC Company went the extra mile to ensure all the issues were resolved. They collaborated with the warranty company to bring in an electrician. The newly installed heater is functioning excellently and I am reassured about its durability because of their solid backing of their work. I am in Costa Mesa and the service was excellent.
