Reviews of local pros in Cotati, California

Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning is the best. The entire team were exceptional from the moment they started. We are so happy with our AC and thankful to have picked Hulbert. It was gratifying watching real professionals take care of our home. This is the firm you need to install AC!

Each step of the process of installing our heat pump was executed with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy, from the initial assessment to the final summary of how to use the equipment. I am the type of customer who asks lots of questions before feeling comfortable with a home improvement project like this one. I was always treated with patience by Doug and Kyle. The work crew was both efficient and personable.

Kyle and team at Hulbert Heating and Air are top notch! Their bid was reasonable and were able to come in with their crew and install our heat pump in a day! Would highly recommend these guys and will call them again in the future for any HVAC needs we have.

Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning has been taking care of my HVAC needs for a few years now. They are dependable and very honest. Today. Kyle, Jared and Estefan installed my new Bryant furnace; they kept me aware of what was going on with the install and did a great clean up job. I highly recommend Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning.

Had a great experience with Hulbert Heating and I recommend them highly. Doug, Kyle, Andrew, and Jared are true professionals and did an exceptional job installing a new furnace and a brand new AC system in our home. They were timely, responsive, and professional throughout - I'd work with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!

We recently had air conditioning installed by Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning. Doug, Kyle and their crew were thorough, professional, and efficient. Everything was done on the same day and our home is now comfortable in any weather. I would highly recommend Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning if you are considering any heating and/or air conditioning work on your home. A+ rating.

Kyle and Doug were great to work with. As a new homeowner I had a lot of questions about heat pumps vs gas furnace, hybrid systems, etc and they were very patient and honest in their conversations with me. The installation process went very smoothly and there were no unexpected surprises.

We had an outstanding experience from start to finish with the Hulbert team. Every member of the team was polite, thoughtful and competent. They explained each step, completed their work on time, and left our home cleaner than they found it!

Five STAR!
Doug and the Hulbert Heating & Air Conditioning crew showed up on time, worked professionally, kept our home clean (and cleaned up after themselves) each day. Danny, and the guys did a quick, quality job, and they did it at a reasonable price. They even set up the permitting/inspection needed to start and complete the job. We’re quite happy with our new furnace, it’s quiet, efficient, and quickly and effectively heats our entire house!

I contacted Doug Hulbert at Hulbert Heating as I was interested in replacing my old gas furnace with a Heat Pump and air handler system. Doug came out and gave me a reasonable price. They took care of everything. The team was thorough, and dealt with all issues. I am enjoying the quiet heating system, and also have air conditioning now. I highly recommend this company.

Great company! I received multiple estimates for installing a new HVAC system before finally choosing Hulbert. I called them back multiple times comparing their estimate to other estimates and they always responded quickly.
The crew they sent out was professional and friendly. They kept me up to speed during the entire installation process and left everything immaculate before they left.
Even with hidden issues that couldn't be found until they were into the process of installation, the final bill was exactly what they quoted.
I highly recommend Hubert Heating and Air conditioning.

Kyle and his entire crew were fantastic! Dad Doug scoped the job and his son Kyle and team delivered the goods. Shout out to Drew and Daniel who were extremely knowledgeable and client oriented. There were a couple of young helpers that were fantastic as well. We had our entire house furnished with Mitsubishi mini splits units (3 heat pumps of various sizes and 5 wall units and a duct system. Everything was installed in 3 days with wonderful workmanship. Our new system is amazing. Highly recommend this great team of pros.

Our experience from start to finish with Hulbert Heating & Air Conditioning was fantastic! Doug and his entire crew made the whole process pleasant. Highly recommend this company, everyone is so wonderful.

I would look no further, the entire crew from Katy in the office to all the installers were an A+. One of the very best home project experience's we've every had. We had our whole system replaced with a new heater, air conditioner, and duct work. Thank you!

From my first meeting with Doug Hulbert his knowledge, truthfulness and problem solving I knew they would be my first choice. The entire process was seamless. Once scheduled their crew was incredible, extremely organized, respectful, knowledgeable and clean. I recommend them highly. If I am in need of heat or air conditioning I will hire Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning. I did not have one issue the entire experience was flawless.

Hulbert replaced my furnace and AC, did a great job with highly skilled and professional craftsmanship. Jarret, Cody, Drew and Danny performed as a team with proficiency and multiple skills. Kept me apprised of their progress and explained installation and functional details. Couldn't be more pleased with it all.
Kyle presented the ideal equipment for my needs and offered a good deal.
Hulbert deserves 5 stars!

I was referred to Hulbert through a neighbor who had a very positive experience with the company. Doug Hulbert was our "second opinion" and, just like our first opinion, confirmed we needed a new A/C, furnace, and ductwork. The work proceeded as scheduled and the onsite team included Doug's son, Kyle, and a skilled, friendly (and polite) group of young men who worked hard and really seemed to know their stuff. I opted for a heat pump mid-project and they were enormously accommodating and adjusted to my request (we just needed to wait until the equipment arrived). Would definitely recommend based on our interactions.

From the moment I contacted Hulbert Heating & Air Conditioning, Kyle and his team were clear, concise, and helpful every step of the way. They assisted me with obtaining a quote, navigating the HOA process, overseeing the installation, and managing all necessary inspections. My old system was thirty-six years outdated and in need of replacement, plus I required air conditioning to be added. Drew, Esteban, Jared, and the rest of the team, including those in the front office, made this transition seamless.

Would give more than 5 stars if we could. Our experience with Hulbert's team was wonderful from start to finish.

We received other bids, but Doug took the time to really understand the details of our situation in order to make the best recommendation for our home, AND his pricing was extremely fair.

Our scheduling process was well communicated, and the project foreman came out ahead of installation to troubleshoot and ensure a smooth install day.

Perhaps most importantly, the crew--Danny, Drew, and the rest of the team—were INCREDIBLE. Everyone was helpful, efficient, and super kind. They were really a pleasure to have in our home.

And: our new system is working flawlessly!

Doug Hulbert and his son are truly the best of the best. Doug came to my home to estimate a "somewhat complicated" job, including a/c & a heat pump && new ductwork in the crawl space.
His son and small crew of like minded professionals finished the job in one day and exactly as quoted!!!
I couldn't be happier with their thoroughness and thoughtfulness.
I highly recommend Hulbert Heating and Air.

Doug & his crew are amazing. Professional and nice. Pricing is amazing. Highly recommend for your heating and cooling needs!
