I heard about Anson Electric from a friend. I am so happy with this company! Everything went so well. The office staff, Amanda and Teresa took care of setting everything up. They were very kind, efficient and made everything happen quickly. Matt came to our home to give us a quote on installing recessed lights and ceiling fans. The quote was very fair. Matt was knowledgable and detailed. He was friendly and comfortable to have in our home. We had a delay in the delivery of one of our fans. So all of the electrical work was done on one day and the installation of the ceiling fans was on another day. Amanda made all of this happen. She was extremely efficient and responsive throughout the entire project. All of the installers/electricians were very respectful, kind and professional. I want to give all of them a shout out, hopefully I remembered their names correctly. Thank you to Alejandro, Jose and James! You all were wonderful to work with. Jose was a man of few words, but he really knew his stuff! 😊 I will refer Anson Electric to all of my friends.

Dave from Anson electric is absolutely the top electrical contractor in San Diego County. From the 1st time I had the privilege of meeting him, Dave went to my home to fix a minor issue. He was able to go right away since the issue was sort of an emergency. He fixed the problem promptly and his fee was very reasonable. But what I lived about Dave was his demeanor. He has a way of putting you at ease with him and you know you can trust him right away. Well, I later hired him for a really big electrical job. He did a superb job and his fee was amazing. I count him as a friend now and I recommend him to all my clients, family and friends. Don't look elsewhere. Anson is the man.

I had a positive experience with this electrician. My project was to upgrade my panel to 200amps after getting the trenching done. I selected someone else for the trench job but they had the best price for the panel upgrade. Their technicians were very professional. They spent a few hours on prep work one day (meeting the current state standards for grounding) and came back another day to upgrade the panel. The time spent was dependent on what the SDG&E inspector wanted. In my case, they had to cut the front of the panel and lay the new one over it instead of taking out the old panel parts completely so it took a little more time with the cutting. They did not have to deal with any stucco work.

Needed a quick repair in a junction box on the roof. After getting passed around by 3 other companies, I gave Anson a call. They were quick to respond, scheduled asap and got it fixed. I would definitely call them again

I needed recessed lights and a fan installed in the living room. I called around for quotes, and decided on Anson Electric based upon their great reviews, fast response and fair price . The tech, Daniel, did an awesome job and took his time to explained all the process. Theresa and David were fantastic in coordinating the project. Overall, a very smooth process. Highly recommended!!!

We've worked with Anson a few times and they have done great work. The first time we worked with them was to install a new light fixture. It required cutting a new hole in the ceiling and then patching up the old hole. We are very satisfied with the light! This last time I worked with Hector who was very fast and explained everything well to me so I understood. Unfortunately my last problem was a burnt out ring floodlight, but Hector diagnosed the issue and helped show me the problem. I will definitely call them again for other electrical needs.

I hired Anson a few months ago to replace/rewire old knob & tube wiring in my house. They quoted me a reasonable price and were able to do the work quickly. Joel did an excellent job minimizing wall damage and mess throughout the process and made sure to check in with me for any on-the-spot decisions. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work Anson provided - there have been no issues at all since it was completed. Big shout out to Joel for his quality work and professionalism!

Anson Electric and Daniel Corrales (the service person sent out) did an AMAZING job installing our new camera. It was not an easy job and he was so patient and knowledgeable. He worked diligently and was respectful of our property. He took care of it like it was his own and we are so very grateful!! Thank you much Anson and Daniel!!

I also want to add that this is not our first time using Anson as we had them put in a few outlets, 2 ceiling fans and a light fixture a week ago. We had planned on the job taking 2 days to complete but they finished it in one day! It wasn't rushed either. They are just so efficient!

We worked with Anson to upgrade our electrical panel and they did a great job! The price was very reasonable considering all the work that needed to be done (trenching, coordinating with SDG&E, installing the new panel, removing the old panel, etc.) Teresa was incredible at keeping us up to date on the schedule and informed throughout the process. They also installed a complimentary outlet in our garage, which was very nice of them. We would definitely use them in the future to help with other electrical projects.

Anson made the process of replacing our electrical panel easy. It was 1 week from beginning to end, over Thanksgiving. Will use them again for future electrical needs.

I hired them to replace a old sub-panel in my condo. A few months later I was selling my condo, and during the buyers inspection, they found that none of the outlets had a ground and the GFCI outlets were not working. It took Anson 2 days to repair the error, which was the panel did not have any of the ground wires run into it! Also, Anson Electric shared the information about all the work with any realtor that called them without asking me. Even after I talked to them about not sharing information about the work, they sent my invoice to a realtor. Every appointment I had with them, they came late, every appointment! I would not hire them again.

Huge shoutout to Daniel and Matt for the work that they came in and did for me. They ran Cat 6 cable for me through the attic from one room to another and set up ethernet ports on both ends (one to connect to the router and the other to connect to my device in the other room), and they also installed a 220-volt outlet for my dryer unit.

Total professionals who were very knowledgeable and talked with me about a number of options and approaches they could take to solve for me. I plan to use Anson again because of those two for an electrical panel upgrade on my home and a few other wiring clean up/re-wiring things.

Money well spent - great employees - great communication with Teresa while scheduling everything. Can't recommend this company enough! I'd give 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

After reading reviews, I called to make an appointment to have a Ring floodlight camera installed as it needed to be hardwired. Very good experience with office people setting up the appointment and good communication up to the appointment time. Nick showed up right on schedule. He was a super nice guy and very knowledgeable. We won’t hesitate to use them for other electric needs.

Dave Dawson is my go to for all electrical concerns and fixes; he’s done everything from recessed lighting throughout my whole house, outside lights, fixtures, anything. Professional, efficient, dependable with fair pricing. A+

Alonso was the electrician who was assigned to our project. He was punctual, courteous, patient and cheerful. He wore a mask and followed all safety precautions. He made sure he knew what we were envisioning, and explained and clarified what was to be done so we could make informed decisions before he went to get supplies. The recessed lights Alonso selected for the project were perfect and he made time to explain how we could change the settings if needed and how we could remove fixtures before we painted the ceiling. Alonso completed the work in record time, and even made time to put in an additional outlet that we requested at the last minute. He left everything clean and tidy and everything works perfectly!

David and his team are not only really good electricians, they are also polite, positive and very professional. David is an honest, kind and understanding individual. He was available via text throughout the appointment and made every effort to answer all our questions and make sure all of our requests were accommodated. David and Alonso also went above and beyond to help us install backing and screw back patches of drywall when they learned we were going to be painting the ceiling ourselves.

We are thrilled with our new lights and outlet, but especially appreciate the wonderful service we received!! We highly recommend Anson Electric and will definitely use them for all our future electrical projects.

DO NOT !! I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! I am a real estate professional and have dealt with hundreds of contractors, plumbers, electricians and I’ve never come across a company this unprofessional.

My father is being forced to do some electrical upgrades by his HOA and they recommended this company (terrible mistake). I was scheduled for a Friday 8am arrival of their electrician. I call after 8 and I was told I am not even on the books. My father lives check to check and took the day off to put away dog while electrician is there. I didn’t make a big deal even though this was very unprofessional and cost my dad a full day at work. They rescued us for Monday 1p two weeks later. We got a confirmation message night before that if we cancel within 24 hours, we will have to pay them $250. I get a call at 1p saying the technician is again not going to make it. My father took another day off work. I told them that is unacceptable being the second time so they asked for the technician to arrive at 2:30p. I said that’s fine no problem. At 2:30p they say nobody is coming. I gave them an opportunity to make it right and provide us the work at a discount since they cost my dad 2 full days at work and they declined.

They clearly don’t care about customer service and have cost us money and stress and didn’t get the work done.

I had two issues: I needed a new transformer for a doorbell and an outlet repair that wasn't working. The experience was good from the first phone call - Teresa was very helpful, answered my initial questions and provided estimates for the work. The Electrician - Matt - arrived on time, assessed the work required and explained what he would do. And then he did it - no fuss, no mess, no hassle. I particularly liked that he replaced the switch for the outlet (which we did not need) with a flat plate as part of the job.
At the end I asked him questions about other potential work and, refreshingly, he did not try to up-sell but instead explained the different options and recommended that the work in question did not need to be a priority right now.
Over the years I've identified favorites for each vendor type (plumber, HVAC, etc.) but never found an electrician that I wanted to have as a saved contact - until now. My experience was confidence-inspiring and I won't hesitate to reach out next time I need electrical work.
