We used Anson Electric to install an LED mirror and add an outlet in our bathroom. They were professional and transparent about pricing. The installation was efficient and we’re very happy with the results.

We had Anson Electric come out and check the smoke detectors in a rental we have in Santee. They were beeping. Victor showed up on time, checked all the wiring, voltage, each detector's batteries very quickly and found one of the detector batteries was completely dead. He replaced all the batteries in no time at all. Victor was very well knowledged and left us with a working system at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Anson Electric for a very satisfying experuence

Great Work!! We had five recessed lights and two dimmer switches installed and it went very smoothly. Workers showed up on time the next day after scheduling, and completed it in one day. Anson Electric also coordinated with a subcontractor for the drywall repairs. Highly recommended!!!

I honestly wasn’t sure about this company at first. I selected them based on their positive Yelp reviews and my initial email exchange with them was fantastic regarding the project I wanted completed. Then they were a no-show on the agreed-to appointment date. I wasn’t very happy about the missed appointment and immediately thought “typical contractor” but I reached out to their office and discovered it was an honest mistake where my previous email thread on Yelp regarding the appointment didn’t get on the schedule with the front office. Teresa was very quick to rectify the situation and was able to get an electrician out within a couple of days and even offered me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Great customer service and an immediate solution. I have now used Anson Electric twice and both times the electricians did a great job, they are friendly, show up when they say they will, and their prices are fair and reasonable. I’m so glad I didn’t let a simple scheduling mistake cloud my judgement because I’m very happy with their service and will use them again whenever I need an electrician.

David Fontaine was extremely professional and accommodating during the entire technical support process. We valued his patience and expertise in resolving our problem and our request for support. David was very forthcoming in providing information and guidance vital to successful resolution. It was indeed a very pleasant and successful experience. I needed to add to my existing solar system so I reached out to Semper Solaris and Alex Thomson-Corrao gave me a call. Alex reviewed my PG and E usage and my existing solar production ans we discussed several options. With Alex's help I was able to decide on a non export system. We also discussed battery back up that can be added at a later date. On the day of the install the crew from Sempier Solaris called me half an hour before arrival to let me know they are on their way. Once the install crew arrived Nathan went over the system to be installed and what is required for the install. After that they went to work. Nathan noticed that the original system had the wiring run thru the attic and asked if I want the new system run the same way. I said I would prefer that and his crew went to work. Being a former Navy man attention to detail was always said thru my career and Nathan seeing how the old system was wired shows the attention to detail that I would expect from a company with ties to Military service. Next year I will be replacing my HVAC system and Sempier Solaris will be who I call.

Current situation:
- got roof done in 2021
- roof leaking 2025
- called to notify today. Will update with progress. Current review 1-star because it cost a lot to replace my entire roof and having a leak this quickly makes me feel they did a very poor job of it. I’m now stressed wondering if it may have other slow leaks or parts that are not done properly that could put not just my house but other property and family at risk for injury/damage or health risk. I will update this review as I go through the fixing process. 11/15/2025 today.
- 11/18/2025: no call back over weekend through Monday. Is Tuesday and called again and spoke with Shirley. Told the SAME thing as last time. She took a message, no clue on call back time frame, they said they could not estimate the time because all messages go into "queue" and they can't see the queue on their end. Sending email to the email given in reply to see if that gets me anywhere. Will update again with new progress.
- 11/21/2025: I got an email and call after emailing the "priority" email address given in the review. They scheduled for someone to come out and I thought they were going to fix the roof, but they just put a tarp on it and then left. The people who came out did not speak any english, so I couldn't talk to them to get information on what they were doing, a timeline or plan of repair, or even what they were going to do while there. They had to call a supervisor to answer the questions "Where do you need to look?" So, no, they spoke NO ENGLISH at all, which I wouldn't really care, but I had questions and I don't speak spanish. They put a tarp on the roof and left without even telling us they were done or what they had done. I only knew what they had done 2 days later when I had left another message to complain about the first visit and get clarification on what was going on. Someone who identified as a company executive in customer service called me to explain the process and what the next steps were and get that scheduled.
The roof did get repaired, it turns out part of the roof around a vent was not properly sealed during the installation of the roof. They checked all the other vents and told me they all were properly sealed, so this shouldn't happen again.
I've amended the review to 4 stars, which in general I feel is generous with the fact that the roof was not properly done the first time, the repair process was stressful, and you evidently need a special email to get in touch with the right department. If I had to do my roof again, I don't think I'll go with them in the future. Quality was a prime concern when looking for someone to do the roof in the first place. I already was not happy that none of the people who installed my roof spoke english except a single supervisor who would pop in once in a while to see how progress was going. I'm big on communication and I can't communicate if the people doing work for me don't speak English. Everyone prior to the actual work spoke english and that part was great - the sales people do a good job - but after we got going with the work I never saw those people again.

When it was time to upgrade our solar system and add a back up battery system, the obvious choice was to go back to David Bell and Semper Solaris. They made the process so simple and kept us updated throughout the process. Their install process was quick and efficient and we couldn't be happier.

For now. The company has met my standards. The quality of work and craftsmanship is excellent. They pay attention when you ask for something to be done a certain way. And they go above and beyond to make sure that everything is done to the customers standards. For now, I am very pleased. I hope to be able to follow up years from now and continue to say that they did an amazing job. We did a huge job makeover, roofing, tiles, solar panels, battery, revamp electrical on the panel, heater, new ac units, wiring, etc. There are a few things we had to iron out with the team from time to time. But Rhami and Christian went above and beyond to resolve my problems and hesitation..
I would only add that when your such a big company like this, there should be a couple things that are done right as a company, you should clean and power wash the roof since your already up there and seal it for the customer, paint and clean the edges of the roof so it looks immaculate and new, and the AC units should be placed on a concrete slab instead of a plastic base because sometimes people don’t have these things available where the ac unit will go. These are just a couple of things that should be a given, when you have a company as big as Semper and the client is already ordering such a large upgrade to their home. These should be standard in the world of installation for solar etc. Imagine the curb appeal to say this company came out did all this same cost, and look at the result. I would be super happy to place your sign in my lawn. For now the job was done well, these little minor things would have made you stand out from the rest. However I am pleased with American products and American companies like yourself.

Ten years ago, we had Mark Ivory from Semper Solaris get us a quote on owning a solar system. He impressed us with his knowledge of the industry and correctly projected what benefits it would show. He was spot on and 10 years later, I’m glad we trusted him. How’s the time for a new roof and I knew he would come through with an organized time line and clear expectations of what and when things will happen. Cherry on top: a 50 year warranty and a whole house fan. Please ask for Mark Ivory when you need roofing or solar advice.

Semper Solaris installed a new roof, solar panels, and most recently, a Tesla battery system. prior to the latter installation there were some issues I had but they were handled professionally by an outstanding lady named Daisy Trejo. She was superb throughout all of this, as was the technicians, etc. I am glad I chose this company.

I called five companies for quotes and I was most impressed with Semper Solaris's initial contact team. They answered my call and followed through immediately. It only got better from there. Paul, our sales rep, came to our home and took the time to really understand what we wanted. He was able to thoroughly explain the system he recommended and show how it was the best fit for us. We received another quote, but it didn't feel like the right set up for our needs. Also, that company had a lot of negative reviews regarding delayed installations, etc. Paul's quote was about the same price, but seemed more fined tuned to using our existing system. The overall positive reviews for Semper Solaris helped make our decision to go with them.

Paul helped us move through the steps between contracting and installation at lightning speed. We were motivated to get the system up quickly to take advantage of longer summer days and have the extra solar power for using AC. They came out quickly to do the initial inspection required to complete the project workorder, then gave me all the support documentation for HOA approval. After I returned the HOA approval, they handled city permits very efficiently. Throughout this time they sent emails updating me on each step of the process.

Both teams who came to the house were courteous and focused on getting the job done to my satisfaction. They took the time to explain things to me and met our requests for how to place the equipment and run the conduits from the roof. Mark, our rep during the installation phase, kept in contact and answered questions.

Overall, this is a fast and efficient team with great customer service.

Sebastian was so attentive towards me and assisted me for over a week until the job was completed. He made sure I was contacted by the service department and I was scheduled for the site visit. I was searching for a solar estimate from sources in San Diego could do the work reliably, used quality materials and craftsmanship and had a reputation for success among other consumers in the area. I had vists from (3) other solar providers.

Rob conducted a thorough site visit and estimate in August and I met with Mark Ivory to finalize the details, timeline and contractual pricing. I was very pleased Semper Solaris overall and especially with Mark Ivory's efficiency, business acuman and his ability to be flexible in reaching our home owner objectives. I would recommend Mark and Semper Solaris to others that are seeking a solar energy solution.

I was introduced to Mark Ivory in 2019 by a friend that raved about his experience with purchasing solar panels through Mark. I contacted Mark and I must say I was blown away by his knowledge and expertise. I ended up purchasing solar panels and had a new electrical panel installed. Fast forward to July 2024, I contacted Mark again! Within 3 days he was at my home to get an understanding of what type of upgrades I was interested in.
