I called around to several different companie regarding my heating problem but must of them wouldn't be available for a 24 hours or more. One never responded. I remembered that I had received 5 star service from ACS several years back, so I called again. They immediately answered my call and withing 2 hours Rafael arrived. He was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding and he diagnosed, as well as clearly explained my problem and repair options. Rafael was great and my furnace is working just as it did when it was new. Definately 5 Stars***** in all areas

I couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism, attention to detail in every aspect of diagnosing my 2 heaters(wall heater & central heater) It started out with my original phone call and talking to the owner Jason about fixing my wall heater only after SDG&E left me minutes prior to this phone call with a laundry list of what needed to be fixed on this old unit on the wall. Jason said no problem, we'll be out tomorrow to fix those needs. Rafael J. was sent, and what a blessing he was. So, as it goes he brought his A+ game to service the wall heater and that alone I was impressed with. He took pictures of the internal unit, pictures of the vent on top of the house proved to me it was irreparable. I needed a new one. The vent in the wall was collapsed to vent the carbon monoxide, but even if we fix the vent the rust in the heating exchanger had pin holes. Case closed it needed to be replaced.
Moving to the central heating system and while he was here I said," do you want to look at the 40 year old Central heater too? Without hesitation he said yes. I also needed a new central heating system due to the gas leaking internally that I was unaware of. If I didn't ask him while he was walking out the front door to take a peek at this, I could have lost my life, the house the animals. I didn't call for this one to be serviced but by the grace of God I asked him to look at my antique heater. I tell you. I couldn't be happier, and I'm having them come back tomorrow and replace both. Thank you, Jason, Amanda & Rafael for coming to my rescue and perhaps preventing a disastrous situation.

Great outfit!!! Highly recommended!! Had 2 mini-splits and an air handler put in all top notch equipment. Workmanship was solid. Communication was great any time to this day if I have a question the phone is answered. Jason and his team are by far San Diego’s leading Mini-split kings!

Whenever I need services for anything, I typically look at the company reviews. Since the ACS has an excellent review, I decided to call for the wall heater service. There was an issue while removing and installing the pilot tube to the valve, the orifice fitting was stripped and as well as the thread of the gas valve. The ACS took the full responsibly to replace the gas valve at no cost except the service call fee. This is a true 5 Star Company. I want to thank Caleb Shrewsbury and Jason for your positive and great professional attitudes. I strongly recommend their services to you.

I wish I could give this place a better review because the technician was really nice, but sadly that isn’t enough.
He came by and quickly determined that there were issues with the external portion of the AC system, which is why it wasn’t blowing cold air. This was all due to a failed motor and fuse. The issue was fixed for (ouch) $866 in about 30 minutes.

Fast forward several days. It is still working, but doesn’t seem cold enough. He then returns and says there’s a motor issue with the internal portion of the AC, plus the filter is clogged. The filter is my fault, I’ll admit, but is there a reason he didn’t check all of this the first time? Why wasn’t this all done at once? I spent an additional $400 and all is good now, but I can’t say that the technician was thorough. If he was, he would have checked everything the first time.

Edit to owner’s response: it’s not logical to say that in this case, some issues aren’t present at first. The tech did not even CHECK the filter, or the internal portion of the AC. Of course something isn’t detectable if you don’t check for it. Rating has been updated to reflect this disappointing response that doesn’t really take any ownership.

Jason and his crew were absolutely awesome. They installed a complete a/c system to my parents house and did an impeccable job. They worked dilligagently, were very clean and we are just loving our new air conditioning. I highly recommend ACS.

Rafael was great! He was clearly an expert in this trade. He was efficient in diagnosing the problem and explaining it clearly to us. He fixed our A/C in about 30 minutes! He provided a few different options on the repair and improvements without being overly heavy or pressuring on the unnecessary but recommended improvement options. They were incredibly helpful. I had a fairly simple problem and the serviceman showed me an easy fix so I could avoid the maintenance charge. He showed up after 2 pm and my AC was working like new before 4 pm.

Together they diagnosed existing problems with our mini split systems, replaced parts and installed new components as needed.
