After learning that my HVAC system was showing multiple signs of heading toward inevitable demise, I decided to take advantage of soon-disappearing incentives. Having reached out to over 20 different installers and performed much of my own extensive research, I selected Clear Heating & Air.

There were multiple factors that steered me to ultimately make this decision. I usually perform extensive research (to an OCD level) about the products, pricing, and service provider, especially on large purchases. From my consultation with Reuven, it was immediately apparent that he was an expert with the products and at his trade. There were no questions he was unable to answer or find me the answer to; whereas I was stumping salesmen from other companies with many years in the business, simply because they weren't experts in their field. The kicker was that I also had an airflow balance issue amongst various rooms that we needed a resolution for. Reuven displayed thoughtfulness and his expertise in developing the best solution for our issue. He does not utilize high-pressure or disingenuous/deceptive tactics to make a sale like some others tried. His honesty, transparency, responsiveness, professionalism, respect, integrity, level of expertise, and reasonable/competitive pricing gave me high confidence and trust that I was making the right choice.

Reuven personally introduced me to his installation supervisor, Enrique, who exhibited the same traits mentioned above. He and his team did an excellent job.

After installation, both Enrique and Reuven ensured that I was completely satisfied with resolving my airflow issue and with the installation; and even coming back to make further adjustments to get me the optimal airflow I wanted for each of my rooms.

Reuven, Enrique, and the whole team did all of this with an extremely positive attitude that exuded genuine care for their customers, even at the tail end of the long days they worked.

In summary, the entire experience I had was exactly what every customer wishes to receive from any provider of services and goods, but seldom do. Needless to say, I would recommend Clear to anyone with HVAC needs without any doubt or hesitation. They've earned it.

ACS was a pleasure to work with. Brandon was very knowledgeable and patient. After 24 years our AC finally gave out. ACS installed a new York AC, York Furnace and Honeywell Thermostat in our 100 year old house. They are all working well. The entire installation was completed in less than 1 day. Jacob, Randy and Tyler were very professional and took care of everything. Our York AC unit is much quieter and more energy efficient than our decades old AC was. I would definitely recommend ACS to other San Diego homeowners.

We have worked with Jason and the ACS team on two separate occasions and they have been fantastic both times. Best price, great quality, responsive, and a easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Rafael came to address a gas smell near our furnace. After he addressed our concern, he also took a look at our water heater and re-lit the pilot light for us. This is something ACS generally does not do, however Rafael took the extra 10 minutes to ensure all of our gas appliances were up and running before he left. We will be using them going forward for all of our HVAC needs:) Oh, and the price was substantially lower than we anticipated!

Raphael responded quickly by coming out as soon possible and he identified the problem and then repaired our AC the same day. What a life saver! We will definitely be calling ACS again in the future for all of our central air needs.

We’ve used ACS on several projects. I am in construction management, and only work with vendors that can make everyone happy. It’s a tall order. From the service, to install teams, they have always come through, efficiently and with an option for every budget. Thanks so much ACS!

After a terrible experience with another company in the area who purposely tried to mislead and quoted WAY too high, this was a breath of fresh air. Paid for a tune up which includes cleaning the coil yet was quoted $350 to clean the coil on a 4 year old unit. Was upsold on a $350 stop leak because system was low on coolant again a 4 year old system. Total they wanted was $1700 to service outside system. I live out of the area and have multiple friends who own Hvac company's spoke to one owner and said that's all upscale items they don't do that because it's dishonest and turns clients off. The tech looking out for his pocket book instead of my interest turned me off to this company. It's a 4 year old system he kept saying not proper upkeep ect for his sales pitch. Also turned my system off and Saud it would leak inside unless I services which was also a lie there is a drain pan and drain in inside coil if the coil did get to cold it would drain there not into the house. Do what's right fir the client not your pocket book.

Jason and Carlos installed my Mitsubishi ductless system. From the estimate, which we did virtually, to the installation, they were great. They discussed options, were understanding when I postponed the work due to rising COVID curves, came out and checked the house before the actual installation, and then installed the system. They also explained the operation of the system to me, and left me knowing what I needed to know about keeping the house comfortable. The team was courteous, respectful, efficient, and knowledgeable. I was pleased with the results, and feel like I got great value for my investment.. Further, I enjoyed having them here. Thank you, Jason and Carlos.

Jason / ACS is FANTASTIC! Our AC unit started to fail so we shopped around and were very impressed with Jason’s professionalism and knowledge. We instantly felt comfortable with him and ended up replacing both our AC and furnace, including moving our furnace so we can create a coat closet, for a great price. The guys were very respectful, always used drop cloths and kept us informed of progress, including when it was about to be loud since I work from home on the phone often. The new AC works great and was even finished ahead of schedule. I can’t say enough great things about ACS!

Jason and Joel of ACS just finished their installation of our new Bosch dual fuel HVAC system. I would say that as a very particular person, I was very pleased with the ACS install team for several reasons:

c) They each had decades of install experience - very reassuring on such an expensive system
d) Their expertise showed in how they handled themselves and the equipment
e) They explained all the install steps they were taking to ensure that the system functioned to spec
f) They were very clean in the workspaces and in our home
g) They were unfailingly courteous and friendly
h) They walked me though all the testing they did to ensure proper heating and cooling operation
i) They invited me to call with any questions

Overall, a very positive initial experience.
