Great experience! They came out on short notice, just before Christmas. We needed a new hot water heater ... kind of an odd size. They found one locally and got the replacement done the same day. Zach was great. Very professional and personable. The price seemed very fair! Highly recommend!

We had a hot water heater that needed to be replaced including significant upgrades to meet current building code. D. Martel Plumbing was very knowledgeable, prompt and fairly priced. Dan worked quickly and efficiently, completing the task in 2 hours. We are happy with the results and would recommend them to others in need of plumbing services.

Called the office at 7:30am, plumber arrived at 8:30, problem fixed by 9:15. Couldn't have asked for better service or a nicer young man than Zach!

Great service from Jason as he fixed all my plumbing issues in the kitchen. He came early, fixed everything in 2 hours and for the work he did it was a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend them highly enough. There have been numerous times where D. Martel plumbing has come through in a pinch, most recently to fix what I thought would be a catastrophic ceiling leak, and they always do it promptly with professionalism and integrity. Their prices are very reasonable, they stand behind their work, and above all they are honest. They will have my business for a very long time.

Had a pipe burst on my main line while on vacation. Called on Monday and Zach came out Tuesday. He went to work immediately and fixed the busted pipe on the spot. After running a pressure test he discovered the gauge was bad and was able to replace it immediately too! He also added a shut off valve on my patio so now if I ever have an issue again I've got easy access to turn off the water. Zach was courteous and professional, he really knows his stuff. When it comes time to replace my water heater I'll be giving these guys call again! Thank you!!

Jackie and Zack knocked it out of the park for us again today! Our Folsom home needed a reg needed a regulator installed. I was upset because "why do we need more regulation?"

They came the next day and had my new water heater installed and the old one carted off in under two hours. I highly recommend this local small business.

I called to request service and they had Brett here within 15 minutes. He diagnosed the issue, and I really appreciated that he gave me options...replace some parts, replace all parts inside tank, or replace entire toilet, and the costs associated with each option. Several years ago on a Friday a tree root broke into our main water line to the house resulting in a substantial leak. Martel Plumbing was out on Monday to replace the broken section and the master valve which interfaces to the main water line. The cost was quite reasonable.

Some time later we called them to replace the hose bibs around the outside of our house. They identified one instance where the previous owners had inappropriately used PVC piping for one of the risers; they rebuilt it with using copper and wrapped the new pipe with insulation and sealed it. Again, very professional work at reasonable cost.

Last year, we developed a significant leak in the main valve assembly which services the household plumbing and also our front yard irrigation system. They rebuilt the entire assembly, insulated, and wrapped it. Really nice job and no issues with it since.

These are our go-to plumbers now. We've been very happy with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I called DMartel Plumbing on in December to seek specific service/product, etc. The technician that came out spent much of our conversation bad-mouthing competitors whom I won’t mention names, claiming they were unreliable to position their own service as superior. This felt manipulative rather than helpful. Despite clearly stating my needs and budget, they aggressively pushed an unnecessary upsell for bad mouthing the original installer. Then called the original installer and was told those parts aren’t needed. Then went the distance and called the manufacturer to further confirm these parts were not needed as DMartel pressured me by saying these guys ruined your warranty per manufacturer, premium add-ons costing $5,000! I walked away feeling pressured and distrustful. Companies should focus on honest service, not tactics that undermine trust. They’ve showed me they are actually afraid of these certain companies as these companies were correct and ultimately superior, and DMartel was/is not!

We have used D Martel Plumbing several times and we’ve received excellent service every time. They have always been able to send someone out the next day or within a short timeframe. We’ve had the same plumber each time and he’s always friendly and courteous. Our first encounter was for a toilet installation and the second was for a water heater flush. With the toilet installation we initially bought the wrong toilet. Zac explained what we needed, we ordered it and he came back for the install. He explained everything he did thoroughly. We will always call D Martel for our future plumbing needs and we highly recommend their services.
