Dave from Burtech Plumbing has been to our home on multiple occasions. He is very knowledgeable, professional and great at his job! I highly recommend Burtech Plumbing. Our issues have always been addressed and their pricing is also reasonable.

My hot water stopped working in my shower and they were able to come by within a couple hours to check it out. Josh was great and fixed my shower valve cartridge quickly and did a good job cleaning up and explaining everything to me. He also answered a lot of my unrelated questions and gave me advice about my water heater and home filtration.

Loved working with Burtech Plumbing. They did great work and were very professional. I will be calling them in the future for any plumbing emergencies.

Unfortunately, I had an issue with price transparency. In November 2024, I paid $125 for the exact same service—clearing a clogged drain caused by hair removal. Fast forward to today, and I was charged $325 for the same scope of work. The service rep on the phone did not provided an explanation beyond for this nearly $200 price increase when I reached out today beyond stating "their prices had increased" . Manager was supposed to call to explain but has not yet exactly what price has increased - labor? It’s frustrating to see such a drastic change in cost without any justification or clear communication as the invoice shows no differentiation in line items. Customers deserve consistency and transparency when it comes to pricing.

Josh is very friendly with a comforting smile. Very professional in his manner and expertise with his plumbing work. He finished the job in a short period of time. We appreciate the quality work and his genuine personality to help with fixing the problem.

Our technical person, Junior Bolanos, was polite, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and well represented the company.

He explained his process and did not try to up-sale us on work to be done.

Burtech plumbing was recommended from our contractor for a semi-emergency service we needed to replace a broken cast iron P-trap. Richard was on it and his communication was excellent. He was always available to chat through scenarios throughout the project. After finding the cause of the problem, we had them perform a full sewer re-lining of cast iron pipes and replace/reroute other existing lines. I'm incredibly grateful they came to do the job as all technicians were respectful and courteous throughout the entire process. I would go back to them and highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Highly recommend Burtech Plumbing. Called on a Saturday morning and Jr. arrived soon. Jr. evaluated our entire system, identified the source of our clogged drain and quickly fixed it for a very reasonable price. I have found our new plumbers and will use Burtech for all our plumbing needs.

14 months after installation. The toilet doesn’t clog and works flawlessly. Previous toilet did not leak since newly installed in the 90s.

I was beyond the 1 year warranty. Fair enough.

If you want your toilet to last longer. I suggest considering another plumber.

(The $50 discount offered below was not offered during my discussion with your staff but rather only after my review. Maybe I should have recorded the installation. The work required some shimming as I recall and the installer even commented on its uniqueness. I liked the installer. Experienced and knowledgeable , but things happen.

I had an outstanding experience the team at Burtech Plumbing and specifically with JR, my service technician, who did a fantastic job fixing my plumbing issues. He was quick, courteous, and very friendly. Additionally, Krystal did a wonderful job scheduling the appointment and keeping me informed throughout the entire process. All of our plumbing needs were met, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a plumber.

This review is about 10 days overdue, but I would be remiss if I didn't take the time to write about the exceptional service, care, and courtesy that I have received from Burtech Plumbing during 3 different encounters that included pressure regulator installation, mainline repair and locating (Bill is a wizard at finding a hidden mainline), and installation of plumbing in the front yard.

For the most recent experience, I was provided service by Jaime, who spent a considerable amount of time locating a rather tricky mainline in the front yard at an old home that I recently purchased, and instead of giving in (which many would have) after digging a fairly long trench, he instead went with an experiential instinct to successfully locate the mainline needed to create a T line that would ultimately allow for a hose bib to be placed in my front yard in preparation for future landscaping projects. Not having a hose bib in the front yard, I had to run 100 feet of hose around the house from back to front in order to just water the plants and hose off the deck. Because of Jaime's diligence, expertise, and effort, my life has been made exponentially easier in having hose/plumbing access in the front yard. To top it all off, Jaime ensured that my previous irrigation system mainline was properly capped off and deactivated so that no leaks would occur during the artificial turf installation, which was highly appreciated. And the best part of it all, Jaime was courteous, communicative, and informative in walking me through the process. The final piece that day was the installation of a water conditioner at a great value. Happy to now have my appliances and pipes protective from corrosive mineral deposits.

In summary, I would highly recommend Burtech Plumbing to folks living in the San Diego area, and I plan to remain a loyal customer with the level of courtesy and care that I have received. They are experts at their craft and care about their customers. Thank you so much to Bill and his team. You all are fantastic!

Burtech Plumbing came out right before Thanksgiving for what we thought was a small leak. They were efficient and worked quickly. While the leak itself wasn’t a big issue, once the ceiling was opened we discovered that all of our copper pipes were badly corroded. They recommended a full repipe of our home.

We have a 4,000 square foot house, so this was a huge project. I got multiple quotes, and Burtech landed right in the middle price-wise. What really stood out to me was how willing they were to work with my specific requests. I had major stipulations, especially that they complete the repipe without visually accessing our kitchen, and they made it happen.

They worked with our timeline, and Jose was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. I’ll admit I was a bit needy with questions, but he was always patient, understanding, and responsive.

The estimate they gave us was exactly what we paid in the end with no surprise costs at all. The repipe itself was major (60+ holes throughout the house), but they worked so efficiently that it never felt overly intrusive. They were very clean, vacuumed and cleaned up every day, and truly respected our home. We have two young kids who nap, and they even worked around nap schedules so they weren’t in certain rooms during that time.

Overall, I’m extremely impressed with Burtech Plumbing. I’ve already recommended them and will continue to do so without hesitation.

Called this company after getting a bid from Bill Howe that was so outrageous(like ripping me off outrageous). I was impressed that someone actually answered the phone and not some recording to stay on the line while the conglomerate redirected my call. Was able to make an appointment and within one day a technician was out to give me a bid on replacing the water pressure regulator. The tech JOSH was professional, kind, and most of all honest. He gave me the estimate which was $700 lower than Bill Howes rip off estimate. The pricing was more than fair. Josh completed the job in 90 minutes and did great work. Very satisfied and now know I can count on Burtech plumbing as my go to plumber. Honesty, fair pricing, and great custimer service. Josh is a great representation to your company.

What a pleasure having Brian from Big B's fix our broken faucet, I cant even communicate how helpful, friendly & professional he is.

We received a text message immediately following the service request woth our property manager, it showed a picture of Brian and some bio info - what a great touch! I imagine that communication makes people like single Moms or elderly residents feel safe knowing who's going to be knocking on their door.

Brian arrived within 1 hour of our emergency call - we couldn't even find the main water shutoff before his arrival - quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem.

He explained everything in detail and let us know it would require a 2nd visit to complete the job after needing to order a part.

Again, Brian quoted us a day & time, arrived part in hand at that time, and fixed our antique faucet.

Cant say enough good things.

From the prompt appointment times, text message notifications, to the quality workmanship and attention to detail, I will recommend Big B's to anyone & everyone I come across searching for a plumber - in fact, I just did so on Nextdoor.

Of course there is no convenient time to have a plumbing issue. So, a Saturday when the husband is away on a golf trip with the boys was inevitable, right? I heard the sound of water running in the walls. No water was running that I could find. Something was not right and I knew it. I called a well known plumbing company describing my situation and they said they couldn’t get anyone out until Tuesday. That wasn’t working for me. I Googled “emergency plumbers” and Big B’s had the highest ratings and lots of them. I was hesitant to go with a company I’d never heard of but gave them a call. They said they could have someone out that afternoon and sent me a picture of the tech who would be arriving with a short bio. I was lucky enough to get Ryan Witowich. He quickly and professionally diagnosed the issue (slab leak) isolated which pipe was leaking, showed and explained everything in terms I could understand as he did his job, and talked to my husband so we could make the decision on how best to move forward with repairs and ensured we were “stable” to use water through the rest of the weekend. We had a team of about 10 show up punctually Monday morning to begin work to replace all of our pipes and get them off the slab. These guys are amazing! They knocked out the whole project in under a week with drywall and stucco guys done, and everything cleaned up. Everyone we worked with were absolute professionals. These are 100% the people you want when you have a plumbing emergency.

We hired Big B’s to re plumb our main connection from the house to the street (Neptune in Encinitas). They were awesome to work with, flexible, and efficient. It was a tricky job and they got it done way faster than I thought they would. Will definitely use them again in the future!
