Encinitas Plumbing did a great job and were very responsive with quotes and invoices. I recommend them highly and will use them again.

We had to have our main water valve replaced and what a massive pain that turned out to be. The City couldn't provide the right guidance on which main street valves to turn off and it would have taken them several days (maybe weeks) to figure it out. So, Tim offered to do a "wet" main valve replacement with the water pressure still on. It was gnarly and pretty intense, but he and his team pulled it off without fail and installed an awesome new main water valve at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use these guys again when we have plumbing issues. Excellent service and very reasonable rates.

I haven't used a plumber in years as family could do simple plumbing. Now I would highly recommend Encinitas Plumbing, Cameron so helpful and everything is working!

I highly recommend Tim at Encinitas Plumbing. About a year ago I got my bathrooms remodeled and Tim at Encinitas plumbing was called in by the contractor to do some work, including installing the bathtub. The bathtub on their website is my bathtub. Their work on the bathroom remodel was great. They showed up when they said, they worked through some issues, and got the job done in a professional manor. I was so impressed with them, I had them come back and install a tankless water heater. I love that, saves so much on my energy bill, and I have endless hot water. About a year later (last week) I got an email from Tim saying it was time to service my hot water heater. I didn't know what he was talking about, so did some research. Yes you have to service your water heaters. So glad he contacted me, I had no idea. Tim and his son came, they worked very well together on this. On that visit he told me California changed a law, so the hot water heater had to be vented a different way. They came back out and fixed that, and I also had them fix a leak under one of my sinks. I asked Tim what I owed him, he said he considered both repairs as warranty related and there was no cost. I would not have known, but Tim is obviously honest, trustworthy and professional. I am extremely glad I found Encinitas Plumbing and feel good knowing if I have any plumbing needs I know who to call.

I am not one to post poor reviews but this has been an ordeal. Tankless water heater (Noritz brand) conked out. Called Encinitas Plumbing who asked a number of questions, came by the next day. Over $200 assessment fee, paid as agreed to. Manufacturer made recommendation to Encinitas Plumbing to order and replace certain parts. Parts ordered, which were free on warranty. Several days later, parts were installed, heater still not functional. Over $800 for labor to install the parts paid as agreed. Now, $1000+ and two weeks without hot water later, Encinitas Plumbing has given up. After initially offering to come back and try again troubleshooting with the manufacturer, they’ve changed their minds today (a few days later). They clearly explained to me today that they are frustrated with this project and have better things to do than see it through. I’m taking them at their word that the manufacturer is being difficult and that this project has been frustrating. However, it would seem to me that once a plumber agrees to work on something, the courteous and profession thing would be to finish it. They made no apology and no offer to refund any of the fees, nor any recommendation another plumber that actually knows how to fix this heater. For anyone considering whether to engage Encinitas Plumbing, I recommend that you push them hard to ensure they actually know what they’re doing. I might also refuse to pay at least part of the fee until the job is completed.

Horrible Communication. Called twice after my scheduled appointment. No show. Finally got a call back. The owner shouted and cursed at me. Said he was a "Christian Man". Why even bring that up? I am a believer but, that has nothing to do with a leaking toilet seat. I went somewhere else obviously, and with a more affordable company. His rational to fix for cheap was the same cost to replace with new. Peace of mind goes a long way. Thanks anyways Tim, have a good day.

Encinitas Plumbing was amazing. They quoted me about half of what a few others did and they stuck to their quote. They were fast, professional and went above and beyond the call of duty. I have my plumber for life.

These guys did a great job. I've used them twice now. Once to unclog some drains and trouble shoot my dishwasher. Once to install a new water heater. I'm happy to say they did great work, supported their installations even when we had a miscommunication, and have really made me feel good about doing business with them. I'd highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Obviously this was no emergency- BUT I needed a new kitchen sink faucet to replace one that rusted out and I called EP and Tim was able to fit me in the very next day and replace the rusted out faucet. I appreciated his professionalism and advice regarding some future things that will be upcoming needed repairs.
This is the kind of service company you want to use if you need plumbing repairs of any kind. Tim is very knowledgable and came through for me when I needed help.

I had a leaking faucet and I sent them a picture and the original invoice with the faucet model number and without asking, Suzanne contacted the company and had the company send me the parts sent to me for free (saved a lot of money and time) . And the repair was done professionally promptly afterwards. Very pleased all around. Thanks again Suzanne.

Encinitas Plumbing provided detailed cost estimate for the repair and installation of new shower contol. The installation identified unexpected problems but they were able to make the repair and complete the installation in a timely manner. They also completely relaced water pressure regulator which had some difficulties that made the job more difficult than usual. I Will not hesitate to use their service in the future. very professional.

Tim of Encinitas Plumbing repaired our dishwasher air gap leak problem the morning after I called for an appointment. Within an hour, he quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair…. and within the estimate. Tim installed a new water heater for us a few years ago. Encinitas Plumbing will remain my “go to” plumbers as long as I live in this area.

Not sure how this business has 4.7 stars. As previous reviewers have stated, this business significantly overcharges for their services. The plumber that came out was extremely nice and helpful, but if you have questions regarding the excessive estimates the business owner Tim won't talk to customers and instead hides behind a women at home answering the phone who says she doesn't know why the charges are so high and the owner isn't available to answer questions. Have used many businesses over the years but would not recommend this one. Greedy overcharging, and poor customer service to say the least.

I,m responding to Encinitas Plumbings reply to my original review AGAIN!. Your response is still full of misconceptions.
The bill WAS paid in full the next day. You had requested I slip it under the door at your Encinitas office, and you would pick it up later in the day, which I did. You DID send me a threatening eMail stating you would put a lien on my home if the bill was not paid immediately. I saved a copy of that email if anyone is interested in knowing the truth. I still question why the labor was so outlandishly expensive no matter what your standard quote is.
