My fathers driveway was old and cracked. We needed it to be fixed a long time already. I don't want him to fall and hurt himself.
I got a few estimates before covid but had to put the project on hold. I found MC Construction on here a couple weeks ago.
The decision to go with MC construction was easy. I like the first person I spoke to and then also the rep who came out was to the point and showed me some other driveways I liked too. They came out last week and it took 3 days in total because the cement had to dry of course. They demolished the ugly old driveway and replaced it.
The team was professional, clean and got the job done quickly. Simple as that!

We are very particular people when it comes to home renovations (yes we are that annoying couple who question everything and ask to move things even for an inch). But MC was so accommodating and always professional with us. They went through several plan drafts with us until we felt happy and comfortable with the project. They were able to finish our large kitchen and dinning room project in only about 6 weeks! We were overjoyed at the timeline, and honestly they could have done it faster if it wasn’t for our specific requests. Their communication was above and beyond. Yes, I’m sure we could have cut our costs by shopping around, but the value that MC Construction and their entire team bring to the table is more than worth it. We hired MC Construction & Design for a kitchen and dining room remodel. Mike and his design crew stopped by and designed the kitchen and presented us with three unique designs to choose from. Once we agreed, it was game on. The daily crew of 2-4 guys worked every day from 8-6pm and knocked out the project in 6 weeks!!! Mind you, we are picky clients and these guys did not cut any corners and accommodated every request of ours. What an incredible crew! It’s so hard to find a construction crew nowadays that does exactly what’s promised on the blueprints without asking for an extra dime after the contract is signed. The crew was professional and incredibly respectful of your property. We had two little kids at home and we work from home so they were mindful of noise. Heck they would even let us know ahead of time so we could schedule our zoom calls around the noise!

The most important part is the outcome was beautiful and let me tell you that my wife was extremely happy with the kitchen! Happy wife happy life :)

The team from this home remodeling company was absolutely phenomenal! From the cool and collected professionalism of their lead technician, to his highly skilled and trustworthy crew, they made our vision of an outdoor living space a reality. Once the project got underway, it was amazing to see how quickly things progressed! Our project kicked off during fall and we were keen to have our outdoor living space ready before the holiday season. The team pulled it off with days to spare! Once the holiday season was over, I requested the lead technician to replace a patio door and a French door leading to the outdoor area with two 12-foot wide x 8-foot tall sliding glass doors. Despite the challenge of both walls being load-bearing, the technician was able to figure it out and the result was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to this company for another job, and I've already recommended them to our neighbors in Encino. In fact, I'm considering adding a loft and remodeling our master bathroom in the future, and this company will be the first one I'll call!

I recently had the pleasure of working with MC Construction for my ADU project, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. As a family-owned business, they brought a personal touch to every aspect of the remodel. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, their team was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making my vision a reality. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and they completed the project on time and within budget. I highly recommend MC Construction to anyone looking for quality remodeling work with a personal touch!

Took me a while to review, but we completed a remodel of 2 new bathrooms and new flooring throughout the house about a year ago, as well as some other random improvements.

I picked MC Construction & Design even though they were the most expensive of 3 bids, because not only were they very responsive, but it seemed like they knew what they were doing AND they said they could get it done the fastest. Their hard working guys even worked a lot of Saturdays. They did a good job and finished the project (which was a large project) only about 1-2 weeks late. They did a good job, and I would hire them again.

The reasons I did not give 5 stars:

1) Another big reason I picked them was the "Design" in their name. My impression was that this meant they would come up with design ideas to show us (i.e. several renderings of some design ideas that were customized to my bathrooms), which is not the case. All the "Design" means is that YOU have to pick out every bit of material and design it yourself, and then they will send you a 3D rendering of your project before they break ground.

2) There were a lot of little overpromises & white lies told by the company & sales person - which is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but just doesn't sit right with me. For example, they say on here that they do not subcontract, which is not true. There were several subcontractors working on various parts of the project, including hot mop, new fencing, etc. Another thing I was told by my sales person (as I made the last payment) was that if I noticed anything wrong, they would be out the next day to fix it. This was not true. It took several weeks of nagging for them to come out and fix a new door that they had installed.

Fantastic! The experience couldn't have been more satisfactory. From the office staff to the owners and the crew leader, everyone displayed top-tier professionalism and friendliness. The project required collaborating with other service providers, including air conditioning, skylights, electrical, and woodworking experts. All their referrals were equally professional and specialists in their respective fields. Every interaction, every conversation, and all the work delivered was of A+++ quality, making the home remodeling experience in Encino much smoother than anticipated. The workers took great care in cleaning up my home and backyard daily, worked diligently, arrived on time, and often stayed late. I couldn't be more content with the outcome.

We weren't billed for the extra time, and the project was still finished on time and within budget. Halfway into the project, the owner of the firm flew in to inspect all the ongoing projects. This was a refreshing contrast to our previous dissatisfaction with our kitchen remodel handled by a different firm. We were thrilled to discover this caliber of workmanship in an affordable company. We were profoundly impressed by MC Construction & Design's sense of responsibility and readiness to go above and beyond for its clients. We will without a doubt consider them for future projects. Their level of service and quality is unmatched.

A year after the initial remodeling of my three bathrooms, I find myself compelled to write another review. There were minor issues with the grout on the shower floor not being properly sealed and the shower door rollers malfunctioning. However, the technician was quick to respond and assess my concerns. He dispatched his team to rectify all the issues, even the minor ones. The fact that they treated me as a valued customer and did not charge for the minor repairs was a testament to their excellent customer service and commitment to the quality of their work. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail and promptness of the remodeling team. The tile placement was meticulous and the plumbing was done just right. The team was respectful while working in my home, they maintained cleanliness, and completed the project within the stipulated timeframe. All three of my bathrooms were beautifully remodeled, making for a very positive home improvement experience.
