Richard recently did a demo job on our property that including removal of ALOT of old (read 1980s variety landscaping timbers aka railroad ties). He came out, gave us a very reasonable quote, and in two days, everything was gone and cleaned up. Quite a lot of topography on our lot; no complaints from Richard or his crew, they just did the job with professionalism. I'm sure we'll be bringing back Richard for other things around the house, inside and out.

We have only the best things to say about Cruz Construction. Richard is very professional in what he does and we will definitely be keeping his number for any projects that may come our way. The communication was great, and we appreciate the great work he did for us on our driveway. He is very mindful of his surroundings working in a tight area. Thank you Richard, for coming to our aid and fitting us into your schedule, so close to a holiday. We really appreciate your time and work!

I reached out to this contractor for an estimate and provided all the necessary details over the phone and again by email. After that, I never heard back for 1 week.

I followed up clearly stating that I was checking on the estimate request, but he responded rudely and repeatedly asked, “An estimate for what?”, as if we had never spoken and I hadn’t already sent everything he needed.

This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, organization, and basic customer service. If this is how he handles potential clients before any work even starts, I would be very concerned about how he’d handle an actual project. I will not be using his services and cannot recommend him.

Cruz Construction is exceptional all areas! Our family was planning to replace all of our home flooring, and needed a bathroom makeover. Richard and crew went above and beyond! Exceptional communication, customer service, responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism at a fair price. These traits are not always easy to find in the construction trades, and Cruz Construction has them all. We highly recommend.

Professional, prompt, courteous, and extremely detailed work at ½ the price of everyone I got quotes from. Not to mention my bathroom was completed 10 days earlier than everyone else quoted. Must mention that the craftsmanship was detailed and done as if it was his own. Very hard to find this quality these days!

Anibal, the owner of Smart View Concrete, interpreted my drawings and worked with me to improve upon my design. Anibal has a great design sense! His hard working crew diligently constructed a complex retaining wall with lighted stairs, front patio area, 3-car driveway, and side yard slab. And did so in a beautifully detailed manner… and we a very picky! We used Sierra colored concrete with a recommended .3 TopCast finish. Anibal supervised every phase and showed up as agreed, so we always knew what to expect and could prepare. The process of demolition and construction is inherently a dirty job and our job was large, Anibal’s crew kept the job site as tidy as possible and were respectful of our property as well as our neighbors. Anibal structured a detailed estimate that translated into a contract outlining progress payments that was extremely fair. We couldn’t be happier of all aspects of the job, the professionalism of the process and the end result. We get compliments every time we’re outside doing yard work on how nice our hardscape looks from passer’s by. We’re extremely confident in recommending Smart View Concrete and plan to use them for installing our backyard hardscape soon.

When the job was completed they cleaned up and didn’t leave a mess. they didn’t cut corners, and the left the job in great shape!
