Electrical reviews in Escondido, California

I had an outstanding experience working with Mike Silva. I needed guidance on the right solar and battery backup setup to support two EVs, and Mike’s expertise really stood out. He clearly explained the different rebates, tax credits, SDG&E rate plans and helped me choose EV-TOU-5, which fits my charging needs perfectly. He made a complicated decision feel simple, was patient, and NEVER pushy. If you want a solar consultant who truly understands the local utility landscape, I highly recommend Mike—his pricing is also extremely competitive.

Assul Ruiz was professional and courteous who understood what was wrong with my system. Assul explained the steps to resolve my issues and was able to successfully get my system back up and running. Baker Electric installed my system and continues to ensure it stays up and running properly. Super happy I made the decision to choose Baker Electric to install my solar system.

Baker Home Energy has been my go to for all things electricity & solar for 5 years. Their work is consistently of the highest caliber.
The electricians are friendly, great communicators, and highly skilled in their trade.
I am truly satisfied and impressed with the work they completed. -
My Baker technician Tyrell was very knowledgeable and explained everything about what he was doing. Most important he had a wonderful demeanor. Shared the importance of upgrading older equipment, but not in a salesman pushy way. I give him a 10 and Baker follow up customer service people. This is the third time I’ve used Baker to check my equipment and would use no one else. Very professional company.

"It's not how you start, it's how you finish." And Baker Home Energy absolutely finished strong.
From my initial call to being connected with a home energy consultant, the team at Baker Home Energy was helpful, responsive, and professional. The process was smooth right from the beginning.
Once I connected with my consultant, Cameron, things truly became spectacular. I had multiple questions and requested several different quotes to explore my options, and Cameron handled everything with patience, clarity, and speed. Every question was answered thoroughly, and each quote was provided promptly without hesitation.
Although I didn't move forward with signing a contract due to timing on my end, the experience left a strong impression. When the time is right, I fully intend to work with Baker Home Energy because I know they'll be ready to do business.

A very detailed oriented person that was able to clearly explain to me how the HVAC system worked, would be installed and how it would benefit my current needs. I felt he was looking out for my best interest and offered suggestions on all Baker has to offer in order for me to meet my goals. I appreciated his honesty and kindness towards me and my family. A very personable and easy to talk to gentleman. Thank you Baker for having employees like Curt here to explain your HVAC system.

Excellent electrical contractor, and a great employer.
-
Baker electric has one of the worst reputations in the ibew For safety and how they treat people..
-
So the workers were great. But management and service is awful. You can't speak with anyone. Hopefully you don't need anything after the work is done. Been waiting for a response for days.

Truck 905 driving like an absolute idiot on I 8 west near Golden acorn, dropping a bunch of things from his truck bed and hit my car.5:30am

Will was excellent. Professional and courteous, quickly diagnosed the issue and was very thorough in his inspection and appraisal.
-
The only issue is time delays between initial call requesting service and actually getting scheduled...typically a week or more and several calls. The service guys (once scheduled) are prompt and knowledgeable and get things fixed.

There's a reason this company has been around for over 70 years. They have great leadership and make sure the job is done right. The focus is on quality and safety first from what I've seen.

I have converter failed, call the company they can't give me the date because it on back order. I call Baker electronic get the same answer. I read the contract, all it mention is "if something goes wrong the solar can't give out the amount they promise then they will give you 15 cents per KLW that they under produce. SDGE charge me wayyyy more than 15 cents. I will continue to wait until they give me new converter. Now I have two Bill to pay. One from SDGE $400 and the other one from the solar company $254. I am on my two month waiting for them to replace my converter.

Robin R. provided very timely and professional service. He very quickly found the electrical issue causing an interruption of service . I felt in good hands without the need to feel concerned about running up a bill for his time. Would highly recommend Baker Electric and Robin in particular

Would not recommend if you live in multiunit property. Requested quote on 2/23 and electrician came 4/7. He could not fit his truck in my parking space so he never left his truck. Had me re-describe the job so he could say no from the parking lot. 1.5 months later.

Baker Electric showed up at my door to do a repair on a "1950's" whom, of which they are neither licensed nor qualified to perform under the National 1978 Repair, Renovate and Painting act, which requires Baker Electric to be lead based certified in order to perform such work, of which they are not. This "work" person showed up, which Baker Electric has refused to give me his name, was done so at the behest of my landlord, Christine Lombardo who is a known to hire unlicensed contractors and cheat both municipalities and the State of California out of contracting fees and more importantly, safe practices to ensure the safety of her tenants whom she neither cares about or the state and cities upon whom she is cheating out of taxes, fees and permits. To my astonishment, this person whom I told was not to do any repair work in my home, due to his failure to hold a valid certified lead contractors license to do so, was found in my living room, turning my lights on and off. I immediately told them they were illegally trespassing and I called the Vista Sheriff. Both the contractor and the landlord Christine Lombardo left the premises before the Sheriff arrived, which is very odd if you feel that you are legally on the premises and there to do legitimate repairs without malice.
