It was good experience till I found out the electric pipes connecting solar panels could be placed in a better location so that the sticking out pipes with RED stickers would not show as in the photos in front view of the house. All solar panels in my neighborhood don’t have connecting pipes with red stickers shown in front view…. Beware these problems when they don’t run pipes via the attics.

I have used Solar Negotiators on 2 separate occasions for Solar. They are awesome. Staff are respectful and professional when installing. Recommend to all my family and friends.

I had a 5 star experience with Solar Negotiators! I was hesitant to take on this project as a first time home owner, but honestly it was hassle free. I can honestly say that I was completely supported through the whole process. From financing to needing a new roof, I had guidance and support throughout the process. My new roof is beautiful, my PG&E bill is low, and I couldn't be happier. My only regret is not starting the process sooner.

I would like to bring to your attention the unsafe driving behavior of one of your employees operating a company vehicle unit 162. On July 9, 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM, I observed your driver at the intersection of Blackstone and Nees Avenue in Fresno.

The driver was operating the vehicle recklessly, cutting off multiple other motorists. When I pulled alongside the vehicle, I noticed the driver was texting while driving, which may explain the erratic behavior. This is particularly concerning given that the vehicle is clearly marked with your company’s branding.

I hope you will take this matter seriously, as this type of conduct not only endangers others on the road but also reflects poorly on your company’s reputation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,
    Jimmy

They were GREAT. They were on it from the start answered questions we had, did the work. It's been 8 years if I call them today with a question or anything they get back to me right away!! I would highly recommend them!!

I engaged Solar Maintenance Pros (SMP), operating under the Solar Negotiator name, to replace my aging solar system in January 2025. I was promised greater efficiency and lower bills, which is why I paid $7,864 for the replacement of 24, 165-watt modules with 12 new, 345-watt modules, along with a new Tigo Inverter. The outcome has been an absolute disaster, leading to a massive spike in my electricity costs. In January 2025: Installation completed. In, June 2025: Received an alarmingly high electricity bill of $600. I called the Solar Negotiator team to report the huge jump in usage and questioned if the new Tigo Inverter was functioning or properly installed. The Response 1 (June 2025): I was told that according to their monitoring system, the Tigo Inverter was properly converting DC electricity from the panels into AC electricity. I reluctantly accepted this, assuming the summer AC usage was the primary cause.
September - October 2025: Despite the weather cooling and the AC rarely being used, my bill jumped again to $299. On October 27, 2025: I called again, expressing my serious concern. I pointed out that my old, supposedly "inefficient" 24 x 165W system was clearly outperforming the new system, as evidenced by my 2024 True-Up bill of $345 versus the current True-Up estimate of $2400. Response 2 (October 27, 2025): I spoke with a technician, Henry (on a recorded line). He reiterated the exact same claim as before—that their data showed the inverter was operational and converting electricity. Henry even offered to send me this data (which I have yet to receive). I was then informed that since they deemed the inverter "fully operational," any further service would not be covered under warranty, and I would be charged $299 for a technician visit. Feeling dismissed and being asked to pay for a service call despite their repeated reassurances, I called an outside, independent solar company to troubleshoot the issue.
The external technician immediately noticed a red blinking LED on the Tigo Inverter. Upon opening the cabinet, the technician recorded a reading of 0V AC. The root cause was located: loose AC wires inside the PV load center. For ten months, the Tigo Inverter was not converting DC to AC power because the AC wires were never properly connected during the installation!
Solar Maintenance Pros (Solar Negotiator) repeatedly failed to correctly diagnose a fundamental installation error that cost me hundreds of dollars and led to a potential $2,055 increase in my annual True-Up bill. Their monitoring system, which they cited twice to insist the inverter was working, was either completely flawed, misinterpreted, or deliberately misrepresented, as the inverter was non-operational due to loose wiring.
My prior system, which they recommended replacing due to inefficiency, was clearly producing more electricity than their non-functional installation. Their refusal to send a technician without a $299 fee, based on flawed remote diagnostics, is inexcusable.
I demand an explanation, full accountability for the ten months of lost production, and compensation for the difference in my true-up bill directly resulting from this negligence. I would advise any prospective customer to proceed with extreme caution and seek a second opinion.

I contacted Solar Negotiators about getting a quote. They quickly arranged to have me meet with Chuck. Chuck was very laid back, nice and gave me what I asked for. Not pushy at all! Their price beat everybody by 5-10k so that was helpful. But I liked that they did the whole project in house, monitor the panels and even clean the panels once a year.

After signing up they continued to be excellent. I had an add on to my house and was adamant about getting the shut off switch installed prior to my siding going on. They meet my deadline and even swapped my "new" 200amp electrical panel for a solar ready panel without a labor charge. It was a pretty easy swap because it wasn't live yet and it lacked multiple breakers, but doing it without a labor charge to save all of us from a headaches was awesome.

My 42 ground mount solar system got installed shortly thereafter. The installers didn't leave trash, were very professional and got the job done right and quickly
The app is straight to the point. Their "know true up" website is a great tool as well. I was even notified of a small problem with one of the inverters during my closeout meeting. I was contacted extremely fast and was told they would replace the inverter really soon.

Solar Negotiators always kept me up to date with scheduling. They were honest, did exactly what I had asked for and I couldn't be happier.

Don't trust them because I referred my dad and because their salesman "Ian" was a shady dude we aren't receiving the referral bonus. Apparently he never put us down because he "knocked" on their door. My dad had several solar guys knocking on his door daily. He wouldn't give them a chance. I talked him in to solar. Solar Negotiators knocked on their door and he said "oh my daughter and son in law have Solar Negotiators and said this is who we should use". Ian even went as far as to putting our information down as a referral and telling my Dad we would receive a bonus. He lied and now SO now, Solar Negotiators is saying its "he said she said". I won't be referring anybody else to you

The solar panel cleaning time was punctual & professional. They confirmed the appointment with me and arrived within the arrival window and did a great job cleaning my panels. Excellent job.

We just finished our battery install completing the process of installing solar panels and batteries as we could afford it. It was a process over time and money was tight but now we are generating and saving our own electricity and paying PG&E as little as possible.

If you want honest people, recommendations and installation go with Solar Negotiators and you won’t be sorry.

Our attempts with other installers led to heartaches and lost money, don’t make the same mistakes I made before I went with Solar Negotiators

You will be happy you did.

The process with Solar Negotiators was easy. I was informed each step of the process. Sherene came out once my system was operating to show me how they system works and get me setup on the app. She was friendly and very helpful in helping me understand how to get most out of system.

Waited almost a year for solar installment. The last time I heard was application was being processed through the city last July 2025, I tried reaching out to my Rep Roy Saldivar a couple of times but no unable to connect. Called their toll free around October and said I will get a call back but was not able to get one. I received a cancellation e-sign this week and tried calling back and someone called me by the name of Chad saying that it was a miscommunication and cannot proceed with the project because of the flat roof. He is nonchalantly unapologetic about the situation and that is very frustrating on my end. They did confirm that customer service and rep was not able to disclose discontinuing the project way back. I waited a year, could’ve saved a lot of money too. I do not recommend or trust this company.

it was funny, one day I called Petersen Dean, my solar providers and Solar Negotiators kept answering their lines. I, finally, realized that it was, sort of, a scam, somehow they bought Petersen Deans number. I, did, however, speak to them and eventually started a maintenance plan with them that would include, 30% off of labor 2 panel cleaning and monitoring my panels. I guess that we figured that by monitoring them that if something went wrong they would let us know. That NEVER happened, I noticed that our solar production was quite low. I called Solar Negotiators and they set up an inspection, around *
8/22 I had paid them a $75.00 charge and a $210.00 charge just for an inspection. They told me that it would cost me $1500 more to repair the 9 that they found to be not working. I was incredulous, how is this a good deal when we've already been charged $280. I'm not sure that it was really that high and they gave us 50% off for our waiting, and believe me, we waited. They repaired 8 out of 9 on 9/3, but, when it came to the 9th one they told me it was working, just didn't appear to be on the app. After all was said and done, it wasn't till October when they fixed the 9th one. I'm not sure how I feel about them as a company, but after more than one month, every panel is now working and their charges have been paid

Our experience with solar negotiators has been completely painless and surprisingly pleasant. From our salesman, Tyler, to our installer, Tim and now. Sheree Who helped us with the app and how to monitor our solar. Everyone we’ve spoken to or had dealings with have been completely professional and gracious, and we are so pleased that we went with this company.

I check the output from my solar system daily and noticed I had no output that day. And it was the beginning of summer. I called the solar company that installed and warrantied my system and found out they were out of business. I called Solar Negotiators hoping they could help me. They said they would help, and sent someone to identify the problem. It was determined the inverter had gone bad. The repair person called the inverter company immediately so I could get a new inverter under warranty. Solar Negotiators took care of all the paperwork. When the inverter arrived, the repair person came out and installed it in a few hours. I was up and running again the day the new inverter was installed. I am very happy with the repair persons and with Solar Negotiators. I have told others my story, and now I am telling you. In my opinion, Solar Negotiators is the first company to call.

We’ve had a great experience with Solar Negotiators when they installed our solar panels. We have excellent production and never yet paid a true-up bill since we’ve always received a credit at true-up time. We’ve never regretted our decision.

I can't believe the president of this company goes on commercials and brags about his five star reviews. We first got mixed up with them 6 years ago when they put in our Solar. That's when I found out that they lie and cheat to screw the customer. It's fact, I received emails between employees that I shouldn't have been cc'd on explaining why they were charging us the same amount of money but downgrading the panels they were installing. Every year after has been a nightmare dealing with these people. There isn't even enough time to tell you all the stories. Last month was our yearly cleaning. Still waiting for the report, but it will come now because I mentioned it in this review. It's always fake anyway says they didn't break anything and everything looks perfect. The website is much different than what you get live. There were no safety straps or no mature adults that came to my house like it shows on their website under solar cleaning. Last year during the cleaning they broke a bolt. Took many phone calls and emails and a different crew to get it fixed a year later at the next cleaning. How does a bolt fall off during a cleaning? I watched the cleaning and let me tell you they do not scrub they go down one way and up the other way and move to the next panel. Honestly people if you can go with a different company I absolutely would. I have made many many reviews and nothing has changed with this company. They can't keep an appointment, there's no communication, and I can't trust what they say. Solar Negotiators don't respond please, I already know what you're going to say and it's worthless. It's not you anyway it's a paid service that you hire to respond to your reviews. If you looked into all these reviews as you state over the past 6 years none of us customers would be having these problems. I put many many hours of my life over the years talking to top Executives of this company and nothing changed. As a matter of fact some found it funny all the problems that we were having. I could tell you one thing we never thought any of it was funny!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I want to take a moment to thank Adriana Poindexter with Solar Negotiators for her amazing customer service and support with our solar account. Earlier this year, we added a fairly large system to our home in Clovis and experienced a mix-up with our PG&E bill that caused us a lot of stress and hardship.

Not knowing how to fix the issue, we reached out to Solar Negotiators and received excellent help from Adriana. She was patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to guide us through the process and get everything resolved.

We are tremendously grateful for her care, attention to detail, and professionalism. Thanks to Adriana and the Solar Negotiators team, everything was taken care of smoothly. We highly recommend Solar Negotiators to anyone in need of solar services or support!

The long journey of debating to go solar finally was put to rest. 2 years of many inquiries and estimates with all of them trying to make a sale and push to get my business is now over. In the middle of summer of 2022 I reached out to solar negotiators via website, with in a few days I received a call from David, He went over my concerns and explained in details the pros and cons of every available option at no point did he make me feel he was pushing me to buy anything and at the same time he made it more of a friendly conversation rather than a sales pitch. He took all my information and had a estimate to what I wanted with some suggestions from him I was amazed by the lifetime warranty and maintenance my investment would come with. The more I investigated the more I realized he was very knowledgeable and was actually setting me up for success with my electrical bill rather than disappointment. I also inquired about having my electrical panel replaced due to it being old in what he gave me a price on that as well. The decision was made I was going solar. My final install was done in December and had me up and running. David and his crew made it happen. He was always giving me constant updates and was always very responsive to any questions and concerns. 2 month later after all was set and done, If I have a question with in minutes of reaching out to him he responds. He is consistent he has never failed to answer any questions. David thank you. Solar Negotiators really is fortunate to have you as part of the team.
