I had the pleasure to have Rejohnna help me with every step of the way. I felt like I knew her from years back because of her great attitude, her positively and she is very friendly and professional. I was always scared to get panels for my home but she explained everything in details. She answered every question we had and she was very easy to get ahold of. She helped me get a great deal on my new roof. If you have an issue with something she makes sure she is on top of it and you get what you sing up for. She came inside my home and she is very professional but also friendly not like others they make you feel like you’re talking to a robot. I love her energy I can go on and on about how much she did for us, but all I’m going to say at this point is. I recommend her %1000.

Sunrun installed a bad roof on my house with laborers who spoke no English. Sunrun is no longer willing to repair my house . One contractor quoted me $23,000 to fix my roof . He had a look of disgust on his face as he described the many construction defects. I am a senior and the stress of all this is affecting my health. Sunrun doesn't care about you. Don't think this is just the one off or you would be treated differently. They have very nice salesman and everything will go fine for a while but if you run into trouble you might be out of luck. Remember my roof had a 25-year warranty now it just leaks and has extensive damage

Had a great conversation with Todd about the products they offer! He was so knowledgeable and patient with all the questions I was asking. I was on the fence but after speaking with him I feel comfortable with moving forward with the installation! Thanks Todd!

He ran the numbers and explained the PG&E bill and showed us we were okay without a battery. Although he could have sold us something we didn’t really need, he didn’t, and we will call him next time we might need something for our solar. Thank You Hector!

I’ve been waiting for my solar to be connected it’s been 1 1/2 yrs since they contracted freedom solar to come out and install the panels on my roof. Now they contracted someone else to install a new electrical panel. And still waiting. They were quick to get panels on my roof but slow as hell to get me connected 😡 if I would have known it was going to take this long I would have never got it. Every time I call it’s something else they are waiting for never ending disappointment. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had

My Experience with Sunrun – Please Read Before Choosing a Solar Company

I want to share my experience with Sunrun in hopes that it might help others make an informed decision.

I initially chose Sunrun because my parents also use this solar company. However, my dad had warned me about ongoing issues he was experiencing with them, which, in hindsight, should have been my first red flag.

In May of this year, I was connected with a solar agent, Aaron Malnar. After some initial communication, he mentioned several gift card incentives and assured me he would follow up with an estimate and contract. Unfortunately, Aaron didn’t follow through. Despite my repeated voicemails and emails, I didn’t hear back from him until July 2nd—nearly two months later. This lack of communication should have been my second red flag.

When Aaron finally got back to me, he apologized and confirmed the gift card incentives I had been promised, including:

$800 Tesla Bonus
$200 for costs related to roof work
$500 referral bonus for my parents

I asked him to confirm these in writing, suspecting they might fall through—and sadly, I was right. To date, I have only received the $800 Tesla Bonus, even though the project is now complete (PTO cleared).

Throughout this ordeal, I’ve made countless calls to Sunrun, flagged the issue multiple times, and even reached out to my project manager, Lindsey Dane. Lindsey has been incredibly helpful and supportive, following up with emails, texts, and calls, but unfortunately, the unresolved gift card incentives remain a significant issue.

The project itself took six months to complete, and the lack of accountability from Sunrun has left me deeply disappointed.

If you’re considering Sunrun, I strongly urge you to explore other solar companies. Based on my experience, the lack of communication and failure to honor their promises make Sunrun a company I cannot recommend.

I was skeptical about solar, but my experience with Sunrun Solar in Fresno was amazing! So simple to work with them, from sales, installation, and tech support they have been helpful, friendly, responsive and a pleasure to work with. All the permits and utility company contacts were handled timely, the installation was quick and clean. I was up and running on the sun in no time! Thank you for making it an easy process and for the cost savings!!

Very happy with my experience and purchase with Sunrun. The installation went very smoothly and everything was just as agreed upon. Brendan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful through every stage of the process. Anytime I had a question I could easily contact him to get answer. The price was very reasonable (cut my bill in half) and they even threw in an electric car charger for free. If you’re considering solar reach out to Sunrun and ask for Brendan from the Fresno office, you won’t be disappointed!

She took the time to explain how solar panels work and the benefits they can bring to my home. With her expert knowledge I felt more confident in making decisions about my energy needs. Carrina answered all my questions patiently ensuring I understood each step of the process. Her support made my transition to solar energy much smoother and more informed.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to get an idea of the cost and benefits of having solar. We absolutely love our solar installation and the panels look sleek on our roof, which was a benefit.

The phone app that shows the daily / weekly usage and is kind of fun to use on hot days - it gives me a natural high to see how many credits we are generating to compensate for cooler months. The customer service is above average as well and the customer portal is easy to use too.

Carrina was a big help when I wanted to buy solar panels. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable. With her friendly attitude I felt comfortable asking questions. Carrina took the time to explain everything clearly. Thanks to her great customer service I’m excited about my new solar panels!
