HVAC reviews in Fresno, California

Fantastic customer service! They gave multiple options for repairs and replacements of a water heater with reasonable prices for each. They were patient explaining and I never felt pressured or rushed. There were some additional issues (outside of their control) during the work and they stayed late to make sure we had hot running water while we waited for an additional part. Even after the work was completed they followed up to make sure everything was working well.

CRC plumbing is a great company! Before I was referred to them, I had two other companies come out and couldn’t diagnose the problem and cost more than I expected. CRC quickly diagnosed and fixed a water hammering issue and the cost was well below what I expected to pay. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use their services!

I’m so glad I called CRC!
Shawn came and provided excellent service with a bedside manner, and he proactively went the extra mile as well. I called a popular competitor first - Lee’s, to be exact - and CRC crushed their service rates by more than two-thirds the price (Lee’s refused to price-match), AND they showed up FAST! Next time I need plumbing, I’m callin’ CRC off TOP!!
Thanks Shawn & CRC - you guys ROCK!! 🤙🏾

We received three bids for a tankless water heater system. CRC Plumbing was the most competitive and installed our system. We encountered a difficult to diagnose issue with our propane supply, causing repeated visits in order to find a solution. I worked with several members of their staff, and each was professional and very pleasant to work with. In the end, they helped to solve our issue, even though it was not caused by the unit they installed. We am very happy with our new tankless water heater, and
CRC Plumbing and Air.
I highly recommend you give them a chance to bid on your project, my experience suggests that you will be happy you did. -
The A/C unit was not working at my house. Taylor always answered my calls and gave us peace of mind that they were there to help. Alex came to service our HVAC unit. Alex is very knowledgeable, professional and will answer any questions you have. He fixed our A/C. Alex gave us information on how to maintain our unit to always have it working to its most efficiency. We now have a working A/C for these hot summer days. Thank you Alex! My wife and I appreciate it. Recommend to everyone.

Hi I never right reviews but today I will. I own a Hair salon in Fresno and one of my AC units was not working . I called and not being a customer of theirs I thought it may take a few days for them to get to me . Within a hour Tim was at my salon and had it fixed in no time at all. I was very impressed with his customer service. We will definitely use this company for all future repairs .
Thank you -
Rick, did an amazing job of explaining what was wrong with our HVAC system, what was needed to fix it, and what is needed to keep it running.
Very very happy with the results and his professionalism. Highly recommended. -
2-10 Home buyer warranty assign this company. Technician very unprofessional. He came to my house and left without doing any thing. He didn't do any work and never send any report, comment or call me about the AC issue that he inspected at my house. I don't know if this person is a technician or not. On 12/17 a person from Indoor Quality Services called me many times to ask $75. I won't pay for service when a non technical person come to my house and left without work or sending out report about the issue. I will submit complain to California consumer affairs about this scammer.

Tim Tuttle was very thorough with his diagnoses of my air conditioning unit and showed up right on schedule. He found and fixed my problem within an hour and had my home cooled down in the hottest part of the summer. I’ve had many different air conditioning companies work on my unit in the 17 I have owned my home. Tim from Indoor Quality Service gets an A+ For his knowledge and workmanship and his experience was very noticeable.

First time using Indoor Quality Services and I was extremely pleased with the entire process. Tim the service specialist, was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond his job duty. He even cleaned the furnace, which I appreciated. He diagnosed the issue and was able to get the part that was needed in a timely matter. He also recommended some products that would be beneficial for us. I would highly recommend IQS.

This company does not care about customer service or my pregnant wife and can not seem to fix our AC problem.
Our home insurance company contracted IQS to fix our AC. I got in touch with them letting them know I need them to come ASAP as my wife is pregnant and that I think the indoor blower fan is not working. Initially they came to our home and charged $200 to fix our AC reporting that the problem was a dirty coil and coolant. The AC unit seemed to be mildly improved but then stopped working all together. I called them back and it has now been almost 2 months and our AC unit is still not fixed. My very pregnant wife is severely uncomfortable to the point she started crying. This company can not accommodate coming to our home to fix our unit unless its on their time and on their terms. They could careless about how my wife feels. Thank god we have a few more weeks until our new born is here and I will be finding another company asap.
Addendum: Google will not allow me to post a new comment, but in a response to yours... I understand that your employees health is a concern and I in no way expect anyone to work mid-day in the heat. That being said, my insurance put me in touch with a second company who after hearing our situation came within a few hours! They did not have an early morning or evening opening for days, but decided to come mid-day to help us out. If your "customers are extremely important," I would think you would have found a way to remedy a problem you were not able to fix the first time even if it meant working outside your usual business hours. They were even open to coming in the evening to help which I asked if your company could do but was told no. So the way I see it, one company seemed to be extremely understanding of the health hazards of a very pregnant woman in the Fresno heat and yours company did not. I do hope you change your approach for others in the future. -
I have been with them for about 20 years. I always get great service. They are on time and very professional.
They helped several years ago when the electrical board burned and I needed a new system. -
Fantastic service. They came out the same day that they called to verify my warranty claim. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my heater on the spot. I was very impressed at how efficient everyone at Indoor Quality Services was. I would highly recommend them.

I submitted my request with AHS on Friday for our heater and received a call from Indoor Quality Services early Monday letting me know they had an available time slot the same morning. I accepted the appointment and received a follow-up call from their technician Matthew when he was on his way. Matthew and his partner arrived promptly and narrowed the issue done quickly. They returned the next morning to install the parts and the system was back up and running. Matthew was extremely professional and kept me updated as he was troubleshooting the problem. I would recommend Indoor Quality Services to anyone in the Valley. Thank you!

Service Tech Tim and the ladies in the office went out of their way to work with our schedule and made it a priority to get to us as soon as they could. Very much appreciated their efforts since we had been without AC for 3 days in triple digit temps. I explained what happened with our AC unit and the noise it was making when it went out and Tim knew immediately what the issue was before his feet ever touched the roof! No doubt due to Tim's 22 years of expertise in the field! Luckily he had all the parts on his truck and made the repairs on the spot! Thank you Tim. We will be calling the office to schedule the 2x per year service! M. McKay

Alex Rodriguez was very prompt, professional and was able to find and fix a leak and refill refrigerant. So I was lucky it wasn't a huge fix, so thankful he was able to do it today.
-
Cody and his team did a great job! Professional, timely, trustworthy, and truthful. They made valid recommendations and pointed out what wasn't needed with thorough explanations so we would understand the reasons behind the decisions and why it was best for our comfort. After 4 other quotes, theirs was by far the best quality for the price. Thank you, team!

Summary:
The tech was great...the service manager at Indoor Quality Services ("IQS") would get negative stars if I could. Also, none of the office staff EVER follow through when you ask them to call you back with an update.
Details:
7/15: AC was struggling so I submitted a home warranty claim to American Home Shield ("AHS"). Scheduled an appointment with IQS on the 18th.
7/18: Alex came on time, was professional, and did what he could to clean it out while saying it would need to be replaced and he would submit the paperwork.
7/20: Called IQS early afternoon (it was Thursday) and they said the paperwork would be submitted to AHS by the end of the week but then they typically take 1-2 days before any repairs are authorized.
7/24: Called AHS to check on the status of the authorization and they said IQS never submitted the report. They put me on hold and called IQS who apparently told them the estimate would be provided the next day.
7/27: Called IQS in the morning and they said it hadn't be submitted yet but that they were behind and to call back in the afternoon. Called them back at 3:30 and it hadn't been submitted but the Service Manager who calls in the reports was gone for the day...at 3:30 in the afternoon...when they are too busy to submit reports from nearly 10 days before...when we've been dealing with triple digit heat?!?!?! How do you run a business like this and still have customers?
7/28: Called IQS again in the AM and they said it would be submitted that day...called back again in the afternoon (this time at 3) but guess who didn't submit it but was already home for the day...yep, the Service Manager.
7/31: Called IQS and was told "We are finally caught up and our Service Manager is calling in all the reports now". Call back in the afternoon and they said they didn't submit it yet because they still need to get the cost of the air handler...what the actual F? What have you been doing the past 2 days?
8/1: Still wasn't submitted but they were on hold. I asked her to call me back when it was finally submitted. She did not but I got an e-mail saying it had been. There were multiple other times I asked them to call me back to confirm status and of course they never did.
Now I understand that they have other customers (although I don't understand why anyone with any options would EVER work with them) and it was also in the middle of a heatwave but this was unconscionable. How do you drag someone along for weeks in this heat without even attempting to proactively communicate? I also understand that people have lives and maybe their Service Manager works different hours but still...this could seriously be a matter of life and death for some people in this heat. If you have to leave at 3 every day to take care of family then hire another service manager...and think about the people you are leaving hanging in this heat and THEIR families. I was always professional and respectful in my interactions with them but it was beyond ridiculous and I do apologize to the receptionists if my frustration boiled over but this was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had with a business. It was so bad that I just abandoned the claim for the time being (will still try to get money out of AHS) but I took my business to a reputable company that I trust.
If you are reading this and take ANYTHING away from it...if you are assigned to AHS for a home warranty claim, do everything in your power to have it switched or ask AHS for cash in lieu of services and find someone else after you get the estimate. Just had another company install my new condenser today so while IQS is finally behind me, I want to do anything in my power to make sure no one else has to suffer through the same ordeal...absolutely terrible company and I feel bad that the tech I worked with has to be associated with them. -
Tim was dispatched to our condo for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. I was a tad skeptical, because he had assured my wife that the parts he installed last week would 'do the trick', without having to come inside. Alas, the unit did not work properly, so the return visit was needed. Within 10 minutes, Tim had identified the problem as a wire in another part of the unit. He was totally honest and forthcoming with the explanation and resolution in the proceeding few minutes, Tim gave me a Cliffs Notes education about HVAC and homes and filters and flows and performance, which I had never imagined in my entire life. It was amazing! One of the best customer service experiences I have had in many years. His knowledge and efficiency and professionalism were of the highest standards! Truly an asset to his company and his trade in general. If I could give TEN stars, I would! Thanks, Tim!

Tim arrived at my home and was extremely professional from the start. After exchanging information, Tim immediately went to work on my A/C Unit. As he removed the A/C Housing Unit, he pointed out some easy preventative maintenance to help ensure better operation of the system. Tim replaced the fan motor to the unit. He also used the water hose to clean the coils as well as the surrounding area. After Tim started putting everything back together, he instructed me to turn on the unit inside the house. I turned it on and everything sounded great. I went back outside to inform Tim and I noticed that the area was clean and that my water hose valve was not leaking anymore. Tim said it just needed a minor adjustment. My Wife and I now enjoy the cooler conditioning thanks to Tim. He provided great service!!!! I definitely recommend Tim and Indoor Quality Services. Thanks!!!!!!

First of all, I think this is the first time I have posted a negative review, however, I felt the conduct was so egregious that I needed to warn others...
Our home warranty service company sent this company to repair our A/C unit in the heat of August. The initial diagnosis (broken motor) required ordering a part, of course, which still didn't result in working A/C -- I immediately called to say that now there was no air at all blowing (had previously blown warm air). He actually tried another repair, which also did not work. The company insisted that the unit needed deep cleaning of the coils before it would work, plus an electrical problem, which required a separate visit from the electrician, who found no problems (after the required $75 service fee of course).
At the return visit the repair technicians began by cutting the electrical wires to motor on our other WORKING unit -- stopping only when I saw them on our security camera and told them that that unit was fine. It was working fine, until they vandalized it, that is. I called to complain but of course there were no appointments for 7-10 days between each of these appointments.
We there had the company that installed it 4 years ago come out, and they documented the incompetent repair of the unit they broke. It was $1200 to repair, but if not done with branded parts, the warranty would be voided. I definitely did not trust Indoor Quality Services after all the wrong diagnoses and poor quality, so paid the company that installed it. They also went up in the attic and found the correct problem with the original broken a/c, and fixed that immediately.
I wrote a letter to the owner, complaining about our experience, and including a video of the vandalism of our working unit. I was requesting reimbursement of the unit his workers broke. I have not heard back. Interestingly, my colleague at work reported that they left her heating unit broken after a home warranty service call as well!
The total time was about 5 weeks to have our a/c problem repaired, which only happened because we gave up and hired another company.
During this time my husband was working overnight shifts and trying to sleep in a boiling hot house during the day.
I am left feeling that this company hires incompetent repair people, and is unscrupulous about fake repairs. Please save yourselves from this company!
