I shop at their big brothers store in Oakland

Only thing was a certain brand was ordered and when i went to pick it up it was a different one. I have no problem with this but some customers are brand loyal and this could complicate things.

This branch has recently opened and I’m very happy to have a local Johnstone Supply since they are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to equipment.

Had exactly what we came in for after looking for this item everywhere in other stores!

After reaching out to a number of HVAC companies and getting the run around, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with element. Next time I need anything HVAC related done on my house, I know who to call.

It took 2 years before I finally pulled the plug on my new heat pump after purchasing a 100-year old home. My first call was to Element and after many other bids and assessments, it was clear that they were my best choice. Eduardo was my person from the beginning, spending hours educating me on how a heat pump works to what would be the proper installation and size. I called him off and on over the years and he always remembered me and the layout of my home, always trying to look for a savings or promotion and explaining where rebates were possible (turns out most installers claim that all units qualify, but actually only a few do). Once we got going, Mac from the central command office helped me coordinate schedules and alerted me of everything re permitting and abatement. On the day of installation I was thrilled to see Eduardo was back, watching over every detail and making sure that everything was working. This is a rarity in the HVAC world, where most sales people only do the selling and one of the many reasons why Eduardo is so good at specifying. All in all, I am very happy with my system and recommend Element heartedly as honest, careful and truly committed to quality, transparent service.

Element installed a minisplit in our home in Oakland. We contacted a few contractors in the area, and they sounded best. They were prompt, good price, professional in all ways. We strongly recommend them.

Service was quick and courteous. I ask a lot of questions and every employee I dealt with was very patient. Strong check for quality control.

Ernest is awesome!!! He was very kind, professional and was able to talk us through the repair needed as well and future issues that could come up. I loved that he was honest and did not try to sell us into repairs that weren’t needed yet. He will be my go-to heater tech moving forward.

From the first communication with Ernest, to the professional installation and electrical work, to the final permitting process, Element didn't miss a best. Very professional and straightforward. Very efficient installation and all employees we interacted with were very courteous and respectful. Our experience with this company was exceptionally great! I highly recommend.

Element Home Solutions upgraded our attic and crawlspace insulation, and it had to be done in two installments. They were timely, courteous, responsive and the work was excellent. We especially enjoyed hearing one of the workers singing while working under the house!

After the work was done they did a wonderful job cleaning out the area, ensuring against access by rodents and laying traps for us just to be sure. So far no evidence of any encroachment.

We would definitely recommend working with them.
