This company has the worst customer service. Had an appointment and after waiting all day I was notified technician wouldn’t be able to make it. They could reschedule me for the following week (6 days later), between 8-12. On the day of the appointment no one showed up so at 2 I called only to find out they could come out between 3-4. Got a text at 4:30 to tell me they would be out between 5:50-6:15. At that point I was done. When the tech finally showed up I couldn’t get the service done bc I had a meeting to go to at 6. The dispatch office is the worse, they kept saying not to worry, they would send someone the next day (Thanksgiving), they could see there were people scheduled to work that day, NOT TRUE. The technician that came called his boss bc he was unaware of the claim dispatch was talking about. Obviously dispatch doesn’t communicate with the local offices. This company has no regard for the customers, their satisfaction and good service.
I am grateful to Richard, the technician who came early the next day (Thanksgiving) and performed the service. He was very thorough and pleasant. Richard is definitely an asset to the company and I hope they appreciate his dedication and professionalism to the job.
I definitely would NOT recommend Greenstar due to poor customer service and lack of communication with dispatch and technicians and especially the customers.

They advertised on Facebook for a $59.99 inspection to check the electrical system of the air conditioning. I clearly told them before they started: do not touch anything, because my AC was working fine. I only wanted a basic inspection and cleaning if needed.
After they left, my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. Since then, I haven't been able to use it properly. Now the fan is not working at all.
When I contacted the company, they said they "didn't touch anything" and refused to take responsibility. They told me I would have to pay again for them to come out and check it. They are ignoring my calls and not trying to resolve the issue.
I ended up calling another technician to come check the system for an estimate. He told me that the wiring had been messed up, which is likely why the fan stopped working
Very disappointing experience. I feel misled by the advertisement and unsupported when a problem occurred immediately after their visit.

Needed to replace very old furnace. Prompt response to on-line search and service inquiry. Knowledgeable, courteous, and professional communication. Quoted price was higher than alternate service providers. Value for on-time reliable installation is excellent. Safe, clean, installation by experienced technician and assistant. New furnace functions as promised - thank you. We will see how post-installation inspection and follow-through on required permits are handled by Greenstar and permitting agency - fingers crossed ; ) ... updating this review - the installed furnace passed rigorous inspection today - the California state inspector commended Greenstar for a top notch installation, rare and well-deserved high praise. Thank you, Greenstar!

I had a new air conditioner and furnace installed but damage needed to be done. Mr. Robert Hauser was sent to inspect the damage and then he came back and repaired everything. Mr. Hauser was so nice and explained everything then he repaired everything so that it looked like new. He was very fast and professional but the most important thing is how wonderful his work was. I would highly recommend him and his company.

These guys are super predatory. Had our AC/Heater tuned up through Home Depot and these guys were the authorized company that scheduled us. Not only did they reschedule 4 times but the guy that finally did the tune up put a bypass in our wires and cranked up the heater pressure to create a service call. I would NEVER go with this company again and will be reporting to BBB. This is shady, dangerous and outright disgusting. I can't imagine the amount of people they have scammed into doing the "fixes" they suggest. Luckily we called the person that installed it years ago and he was honest and fixed the bypass and pressure.

Truck #843, 71 north/west, driving around in your personal vehicle is one thing, but driving around in a company vehicle...be a better example and use your turn signals.
A) It's a great way to avoid collisions.
B) We are to teach by example.
C) IT'S THE LAW!!!!

Drivers can’t even drive the work van properly. What makes you think they’ll do a good job working for you?

They’ll get to you right on time! Just know they probably caused multiple accidents, and took out some kids by the school on the way to you.

Drivers must be on life or death calls cutting people off and non existent blinkers from most of the fleet down in OC

Please share. This company takes 0 responsibility for employees. An employee in uniform got into.a verbal altercation with my son in the parking. He proceeded to kick in my sons car door, ran off, removed his work shirt. Police were called and a report taken. The company HR and his supervisor said he was off the clock and they have 0 responsibility.

Truck: #611215 abruptly cutting people off in traffic. Hey, if that's the type of standard and professionalism this employer holds their employees to, then so be it.

This review has nothing to do with the service, they might be competent at their job for all I know.

Truck #1716 literally just tried running us off the road. I called the office spoke with nice lady to give report. She said she would pass on information to appropriate supervisor. I still want a call back.

No company driver should EVER feel they cannot share the road with other people. A company is not just successful because of the services they provide but also there every decision they make while on the job and in the equipment they use while getting to jobsites.

I absolutely hope this company does driver training and takes this incident seriously because this was our lives at stake today.

This company really must not care about public safety. Two employees in a restaurant drinking on their lunch break, in their uniforms not even trying to be discreet. With the other reviews regarding driving habits you’d think this company would warn employees about drinking and driving. They are putting public safety at risk

In my experience, dealing with this company was extremely frustrating. Several of the employees and boss I encountered came across as dismissive and unprofessional, and at times I genuinely felt they were talking negatively about me both directly and behind my back. Whether intentional or not, the way they communicated left me feeling disrespected.

I also couldn’t shake the feeling that the work on my HVAC system kept becoming more complicated than expected. The explanations often felt unclear, and it gave me the impression that I was being pushed toward additional work and higher costs. While I can’t say what was actually happening behind the scenes, the whole situation made me very uneasy and doubtful about the quality and honesty of the service.

Overall, the atmosphere felt negative, the communication was poor, and I left with serious concerns about both professionalism and reliability. If you value respect, clarity, and trustworthy service, I would strongly recommend considering other options based on my experience.

Had one ot their trucks on the 138 riding my tail and honked at me when I went to turn. Poor drivers and not safe at all. Wouldn't hire someone with road rage like that.

We use Alex's service to find and repair the leak in our sprinkler valve. The leak has caused us a big headache because the water bill went really high. Alex came on time and patiently explained the problem and how he's going to repair it. He's very humble and not like those other HVAC servicemen we used in the past where they are too cocky to explain the problem and the solution.
Alex explained that our house sprinkler valve was old and it's the metal kind, not the PVC kind. Over time the valve has become corroded and water seeps through causing the leak. Alex completes the repair within a few hours and he's definitely a life saver. His pricing is very competitive too. Thank you Alex for your help.

They did it AGAIN!
Today I called positive Plumbing again with different issue, because I trust them and I was very happy and satisfied at first time,
My water heater was leaking, Alex showed up in no time, and was wearing mask to protect us in this critical times of COVID-19, their shoes were covered and was standing 6 feet away while explaining the procedure of what needed to be done.
Was are really pleased, and I recommend to everyone looking for plumbing or heating and air conditioning.

I recently had an issue with my HVAC condenser unit and reached out to multiple people for help. Three people came to fix it and didn’t know the problem and charged me for diagnosis and asked me to replace the whole system. Alex came by looked at the system and changed the capacitor and everything went back to normal. I would definitely recommend him for HVAC services.
