yardwork. Went through THOROUGHLY the first walk-thru of the scope of the job (English Cottage garden-style) Even marked the shrubs that needed to be removed/trimmed with orange hazard tape. Instead, his workers tore out plants that had taken years to establish. Emphasized that an overgrown vine was the primary focus. Left it half trimmed. Was supposed to show up on a Sunday, but instead texted me at 5:30 am on Saturday to say he'd be there at 7:30 (didn't ask if if it was okay). He also added $200 to the quoted price for haul-away, even though it was included in the orginal quote. Despite the short notice, I texted back in the morning that it was okay. He showed up 3 hours late. He left during my job to go "check on [his] trailer" elsewhere, his workers were left without supervision not knowing what he and I had previously discussed and they basically did a complete tear-out of my yard. In essence, everything that was supposed to stay was torn out and everything that was to be torn out was left. They even cut back to the base geraniums that were in pots on the porch. Why? These had been growing for years and were purposefully meant to trail down. They'd been all the way to the ground and covered in blooms, and they completely cut them all the way back to the inside of the pot... might as well throw them away because they're ruined. It has taken years for me to establish this Certified Butterfly Garden with very specific plants and in three hours, he ruined these years of work. Then when I discussed all of this with him, he said I needed to pay him $100 to haul away what he'd done before he finished what I'd hired him to do. I told him I'd be happy to pay him after he replaced the plants. Instead, he walked off the job. Not professional at all, plus tried to add $200 onto the already agreed-upon price, even though the haul away was included in the quote via Angi's List. Just don't. Save yourself the heartache and frustration.

JC Construction & Landscaping did a very professional job of removing a large tree and its roots which were raising the patio cement. They have many years of experience and take great pride in their work. They did such a great job that we hired them for our weekly landscaping as well! What I like most about them is that they are so reliable and they take such pride on their work! I highly recommend them!

Jose (and Luis) did a great job finishing a DIY I started on our powder room. Drywall patched, replaced baseboards, light fixture, tp & towel holder and painted. He also had to remove the toilet and vanity to do it all right. He is very confident, knowledgeable, professional and kind. He won't consider the job done unless you're 100% satisfied. We'll be using his services again, soon!

I worked with Jose to pour about 450 sq ft of concrete in my parent's backyard. First, during estimates, they worked with me to find something that worked for my budget. When we landed on something I liked, which was also the best bid, I was astonished at the speed and quality which the job was done. All the while, Jose and his crew were courteous, professional, and kind. My father is in his 80s and he was a GC himself, and was impressed by the quality of the concrete work. I'd definitely do business with JC Construction and Landscaping again.

My kids shower managed to break and would not shut off on a Saturday night. Jeremy from South County Plumbing was at my door first thing Sunday AM with the part, had the shower fixed and our running water restored before the kids were out of bed.

Great work ethic! The team works with honesty and integrity! I would recommend EHS to anyone! Having Cory and Jared handle the inspection company on your behalf is priceless!

Worked with Cory Bowen years ago (not by choice--had a pinhole leak that caused water damage in my home. The restoration company I chose (Majac Restoration) used this company and a separate plumber. Apparently, Cory Bowen was to be paid separately directly through me (not directly my insurance or through Majac restoration whom I thought was acting as a GC since he coordinated and dealt with all services Cory provided). After I had paid Majac and the plumber, Cory suddenly sent an email at 9 pm at night stating, "We will be coming to your (insert my business location) tomorrow to collect the balance owed. We have tried many other ways, but you don't return calls, and this has gone on long enough. Please be sure to have your checkbook tomorrow. We have sent you all correspondence needed to simply pay us our paychecks."

I replied that I had literally NEVER heard from them or had a single call from them other than a group email I was cc'd on 7 weeks prior asking for my insurance company, claim# and adjuster contact info AFTER they had performed the "demo and dry down" of my home, to which Majac's contractor (Mike) immediately replied to all of us in the chat saying he had sent the info to Cory.

In response to his incredibly unprofessional email (where he had googled my name and business apparently), I emailed and forwarded that ONE communication I had ever received from this company (and all work/home entry etc was done and scheduled by Majac as I was living off site in a hotel while mold mitigation and repairs were done as I was pregnant so my insurance paid to move me out), and advised I had never received a single phone call, email or invoice since that initial text that the General Contractor at Majac had replied to. I advised him I had assumed he was being paid through Majac or the insurance (isn't that what a GC does?? Especially when he hired them and handled all communication and scheduling?? I advised Cory I had already paid the plumber and Majac Restoration and had no idea there was any other outstanding expenses owed to anyone.

I immediately offered to call and pay via credit card over the phone, and they, of course, wouldn't take a credit card, and insisted on coming by my business to pick up a check immediately. I would NEVER do business with someone that disorganized or unprofessional again. No ownership of their employees not sending invoices, or calling, or mailing me a single thing. Mike at Majac at least replied to this email thread with a "Sorry for all the confusion."

I've used Emergency Home Solutions team once to remove over 8 inches of standing water from my crawl space and made sure no mold came of it. Great service and great company.

They are great! Water damage restoration experts. We work together on lots of claims and they are always amazing. If you have water damage give them a call and they will take great care of you.

Great service! I sent them a message, and they got back to me very quickly. We ended up scheduling an appointment the very next morning and got my garbage disposal replaced within an hour and a half! I would highly recommend them.

Corey and his team were very professional. They responded in less than an hour to the water damage issue we had in orange county and handled in a timeframe quicker than expected. Very solid and would highly recommend!

We had the pleasant experience of waking up one morning to a laundry room that appeared as if it was on the set of the film water world.

I called one or two guys that didn't answer the phone despite their 24 hour claim. When I called EHS they were at my door 30 ish minutes later to deal with my flooded laundry room. Quickly they jumped into action packing up all my stuff in that room and getting the dryers going.

Within a day the water had stopped leaking and we were ready to re-do the damaged wall, I canno't say enough good things about the guys at EHS if you need a restoration service call them right away.
