Anthony and Anthony presented themselves very well. They were very kind and went through all we needed to know about our plumbing issues. They are welcomed back if we should need them again.

I had a new AC condenser and Evap installed by Bren and Kirk. They did a fantastic job. They were nice, friendly, and professional. Bren answered all my questions. He explained and showed me how to use my new AC system, and they also cleaned up after themselves before they left. I highly recommend John Stevenson if you ever need heating and air…Thanks guys!

The air conditioning system I bought from them for over $20,000 has already failed five times in two and a half years.

The last time it failed, they tried to give me another $25,000 estimate, saying that I need to replace all of my ducts. I had another company come out and tell me that wasn't the case. I had supervisor come out again and then they said that it was actually just a loose wire.

Well I haven't had my AC on all winter, but today was 93 degrees and guess what ... it doesn't work yet again. I know that I will never be able to trust this unit for as long as I have it. Every time it goes through any type of prolonged of being an active it fails.

They're also telling me that I'm only under manufacturers warranty and not their service warranty. Well, if they never got the thing operating properly and it's continued to fail repeatedly over two and a half years, I think that's their problem.

After 2 attempts to fix a leak under our sink they finally sent out Brent Vandyk.
He is the epitome of a master plumber! He was punctual , extremely thorough, meticulios in his work, retested everything twice and explained everything he was doing and why.. If you have a plumbing issue call John Stevenson and make sure you tell them to send Brent!

I had an excellent experience with Alan Pfleeger from John Stevenson Plumbing. I called this morning and was able to get an appointment right away—Alan arrived within just two hours. He spent several hours thoroughly evaluating and testing my HVAC system, and his attention to detail was impressive. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Most importantly, he resolved all the issues at my home.

I highly recommend Alan for anyone needing reliable and knowledgeable HVAC service!

Today we had a technician Dylan Zachary, from John Stevenson plumbing assess our HVAC system. He was very nice and took the time to explain what he found during his assessment. He also sent me pictures to explain what needs to happen with our system.

We had great service. Brent Vandyk showed up fast and fixed our leak quickly and efficiently. He was really helpful and professional.

Armando of John Stevenson Plumbing came to give an estimate for a water heater replacement. He arrived at the scheduled time and was very professional. He was polite, knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation of my system. After a check of the plumbing throughout the house, he provided me with tank and tankless options. I appreciated the detailed description of the installation process.

My experience with the technician, Julio, was excellent. He was very amicable and thorough. My initial service request was to replace my anode rod in my gas water heater tank. Upon arrival, Julio made an assessment. After draining the tank, he lifted the anode rod out, it appeared that the rod was doing its job (see attached), and needed to be replaced after 6 yrs of use. Excellent service, explanations during the service, and the completeness of an assessment of the plumbing fixtures inside my condo. I have used John Stevenson in the past and will continue to use them. Thank you, John Stevenson, for taking care of my water heater and the maintenance of it!

We had such a great experience getting our new heating and air installed. Jordan and his teammate came for our consult and after checking our our extremely old system gave us all of our options in a friendly, down to earth way. They didn't talk down to me and explained things in a way that I understood (as a person unfamiliar with HVAC systems). I had other companies come out for quotes that over explained, made me feel silly for asking questions, or were plain rude and that was not our experience with John Stevenson. They worked with us to get a price we were comfortable with and then had installers out the next day to take care of us. The installers were professional and helpful too, updating me on the process as it went along. The new AC they brought had a leak but they were able to get another one that day and still finish the job. Most places would have made me wait and have to schedule another install day for a hiccup like that but they were determined not to waste my time and it was so appreciated. They cleaned up at the end of the day and everything is working great. Thanks John Stevenson and all the guys who helped us!

John Stevenson plumbing was referred to me by my mother back in November 2025 because I had a major plumbing leak and could not find a plumber to come out that same day. We were not sure if they would come down to San Diego, but sure enough not only did they come down to San Diego, but within 3 hours I was met by the nicest people / plumbers I have ever met ! Tyler Diaz and Ed came into my home and were both very polite and knowledgeable. He had a great smile and made me feel confident and comfortable about the work that needed to be done. It did not stop there! Once we agreed on having my whole house repiped, a chain of organized events unfolded. The team arrived the next day to start work they were all very professional. They showed up on time daily and were all neat ,clean ,polite and ready to work. They cleaned as they worked and did not leave until most of the work that could be done for the day was done. The whole process took about 4 days and the peace of mind that I have and the experience with these guys was worth every penny…which was pretty reasonable. I took some time to monitor everything and all is well. I Just want to thank all the guys for a job well done. Specifically Ty and his partner Ed, Patrick W, Isaias V, Isack C, Buddy O and John.

Stevenson technicians Bryce and Komin came to our home to do several recommended repairs and installs. They informed us when they would arrive. They came in with a determined and positive determination. During the work they encountered a few surprises, but that did not deter them. They were informative with everything they were doing. They were very much aware of maintaining a clean space and were courteous about protecting our home. We have used Stevenson for many other items in the past and will continue to rely on Stevenson and techs like Bryce and Komin. Also let us mention Brent, who brought out some much needed parts due to some of the surprises. Thanks you Bryce, Komin and Brent.

I had the opportunity to use Saddleback Plumbing today for a water leak in the wall behind our bathroom sink. Saddleback Plumbing went out of their way to get a plumber to our home to resolve the problem. I was incredibly impressed with the service and professionalism of the assigned plumber (Memo Hadzimehmeda) who did all the necessary repairs. The work was completed in a reasonable period of time and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Saddleback Plumbing any plumbing needs.

Rick was efficient and explained issues well. I'm very happy with Saddleback Plumbing and know that I am receivig excellent service.

My entire HVAC system died and needed replacing quickly (January! Brrr!). Saddleback came right out, gave me a fair price, and had the job done in less than a week, from placed order to finished installation, and a warm toasty house again.

Saddleback has been taking care of all my plumbing needs for the 12 years I’ve lived in this house. They are reliable, professional, and reasonable by cost, but what I really appreciate about them is how transparent and upfront they are about what could be done, or what should be done. They always give options. Love that. They have earned my trust, which is priceless with your plumber!

March 2024, Chris and Saddleback to the rescue again! I stepped into the garage last week and the floor was covered in water. Water heater had given up the ghost and flooded the garage. I called Saddleback @ 9am in the morning and by 5pm that evening I had a new water heater up and running (and a garage drying out, slowly).

The service Saddleback Plumbing offers is as good as it gets, truly. You guys are great, but I sure hope this is my last major plumbing/heating disaster for the year!

I trusted Saddleback for the last 8-10 years every year they will do the yearly service and if there’s issues with my HVAC system I will call them as well. They service my own residence, my 4 rental properties and my dad’s place but recently not a happy and not satisfied customer. I paid for VIP fee of $180 recently I called Saddleback because my year old furnace in my residence is constantly making noise which 6 months ago same technician came advised that “parts”has to be replaced and I paid $775 and yet when he replaced the part still there’s noise and he said as long as the “green light” is on there’s nothing to worry. Noise was about 5-10 seconds he said that’s the way it will be and he left. The noise after replacing the parts was shorter it was shorter prior to. I did not complain even if after changing the part the issue is still there! Winter came, using the heater more the noise is getting louder & getting longer same technician came after checking the furnace for a few minutes he told my husband the issue was “low pressure” & gave us quote for $14,000+ to replace year old furnace. TAKE NOTE: a year old furnace then I decided to call my friend HVAC installer who lives in LA and who installed my HVAC a year ago and after testing he was able to fixed the problem. Noise is gone! He asked why is the part was replace? I explained to him and he then said it shouldn’t been replace and he said ALL they have to do is to adjust it noise will be gone! He said you need to call Saddleback request for a refund the issue to begin with was not fixed and replacing the parts that should’ve not been replaced to begin with. I just don’t want to deal with them I did not call. That particular technician is a VERY good salesman and very persuasive WHY he will tell you things like you need a centralized air purifier, cleaning the pan coil, needs power surge etc. he went to my other rental & he did not know that his talking to my tenant and the same thing he said to her selling the centralized air purifiers, cleaning the pan coil etc. Saddleback replaced the HVAC to my 2 rentals recently was in 2022. Also, 2 years ago the thermostat is not working the technician (chubby guy) he left a year ago went he said because of the wiring etc it will cost us about $1000+ because they have to go from the unit outside wiring etc. weather at that time was about 100 degrees called my friend who also a HVAC tech put a new thermostat AC working. The owner first time I spoken with him since I was a customer I discussed with him regarding my other rental is needing a new HVAC given a quote around $1400”+ & told him my concerns about WHY I was not been informed by his other technician what that technician is recommending like cleaning the pan coil by the way the placed of my dad same technician came advised us regarding cleaning the pan coil and power surge which I agreed and paid over $1100+. Owner tried to explain sounds like making excuses. Then I realized for how many years all technicians who did the maintenance NEVER told me about cleaning the pan coil or power surge etc. I even told the owner it’s seem that particular technician is a good salesman tried to negotiate the price of again cleaning the pan coil and some other things and brand new HVAC (this is prior to) I tried to negotiate the price and he said he’ll take a look and call me back. Owner NEVER call me back what a snobby business owner!!! If there’s choices for “0” ⭐️ I will!!

I highly recommend Saddleback Plumbing Heating & Air. The family became aware of Saddleback Plumbing when they bought out Earl's Plumbing. Saddleback Plumbing provides the same level of service and quality. Because of the high level of service, the bill seems reasonable to me. When you need to get a repair done right the first time, this is the company to use.

Saddleback Plumbing is great! I’ve been using Saddleback Plumbing for 15+ years now. They are always very responsive. Chris was able to diagnose the problem and replace some pipes for me. He also installed a garbage disposal and did a great job. I trust Chris and Saddleback Plumbing always gives me the best price and quality service. I will always use the service and feel so lucky that I can.

I have been using Saddleback Plumbing for a while now and have been pleased with their work. They replaced my heater/AC unit, diagnosed and fixed gas leaks, replaced my water heater, and various other plumbing projects.

We had a very good experience having Saddleback Plumbing replace an old toilet and clear a deep blockage in the drain for a bathroom sink. Ed took my call and arranged a service call to fit my schedule. The technician, ChrisC, arrived on time, was very pleasant, explained just what he would do, reviewed the completed work with me, and cleaned both work areas very well. I knew the trap below the sink needed to be replaced because work done before we owned the house added a drain line from our HVAC in such a way that it was impossible to remove the trap to snake the drain. Chris reconstructed the trap and HVAC drain to improve all functions and the area under the sink also looks much better than it did. Chris also had challenges with the toilet because the existing flange was lower than the flooring and improper caulk had fused the old toilet to the tiles (more problems we inherited). The cost for the work was significant but fair. When next we need plumbing work we will call Saddleback again and do our best to get the services of ChrisC.
