We noticed a sewer line leaking near the house, when we went to dig it out we nicked the propane line. They were out to our house within an hour to investigate the issues and got us quoted and fixed the propane line by the end of the day however we didn’t have them fix the sewer line due to prices. Now my real issue lies with the fact there was a 3/4 inch pipe with a valve near by leaking, they offered to fix it and we didn’t think much of it, it’s a repair I have done myself before on the ranch, Very basic. I finally got a broken down invoice of the repairs and They charged almost $1000 to fix a pipe a plumber would have fixed for $150-200 and we could have fixed ourselves for $40 if we had known they were going to outrageously charge us, I would have never had them take care of it. I feel stupid for trusting them and not demanding a broken down invoice before hand. So that was my fault.

Sad to have to fire this company. I've been with them for years, but when my condenser died, I needed them to come out and check it. I got quoted $9k for a fix and $20k for a full system replacement. The techs that showed up were disrespectful, and basically treated me like I didn't know dirt from water.

I called another company and the other company fixed the problem in 30 minutes. I am sad that the company that I trusted for years turned to sleazy upsales, but I will not be coming back.

It was a big job that took most of the day and the new ac/ heating unit needed to be removed with a Crane and the new one lifted into place on the roof with a Crane. Yes 💯% we will use them going forward.
They were quick in response since our heat when out, quick in getting back to us on bids, and quick to getting us scheduled to get the work complete.
They were friendly and careful to not leave any mess. They made sure things were working well before they left.
Everyone was Fantastic! All techs were fantastic!
• LUIS DORADO - ONE OF THE TECHS… was extra friendly and went to great efforts to communicate everything going on and what to expect going forward. He is a keeper! Although everyone involved was super! Even the crane guys!

I have always been impressed with the technicians John Stevenson Plumbing sends out. My technician Alan was very personable, putting booties on without my requesting it. Answered my questions and was very efficient. Never nervous to have one of their technicians comes out.

I actually subscribe to the routine maintenance service through John Stevenson and I love it! i’ve had so many bad experiences with water heaters going bad at my properties, so now I feel like routine maintenance with the hard water, I have in areas that I own property, is just worth it. The team is excellent! They offer great customer service and are very attentive! I figure if I can pay for a Netflix subscription I can pay for a subscription to keep my plumbing in good shape in the properties I own!

They’ve always been so efficient and communicate well with us. They’ve been able to help quickly and help us understand any outstanding issues and/or precautions we can take for the future. Highly recommend!

Great work no hidden costs or tricks professional plumber Skyler doing the work was very professional and found problems that needed to be addressed that save us from future problems. Highly recommended not only to address the leak preventative work.

Logan is a credit to this company! Very knowledgeable,professional and pleasant tech. He answered all my questions made suggestions in a respectful manner and made the service call an enjoyable experience. Can’t say that about all service people but I can about Logan Carter.

Corey and Jayson were fantastic. We had an issue with the our gas fireplace, Corey and Jayson diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly after other plumbers had failed. They communicated well and thought out of the box to fix this issue. The price was very competitive. I would 10/10 recommend using their service in the future!

Bren T. Was thorough in his inspection of my AC unit. He educated me in how to keep my AC and heater running properly. As a member of Charlie’s Club, I can keep things running smoothly at home for a great price with regular inspections. Everyone, from the scheduler to the in-home technician, is polite and knowledgeable.

My installers did an excellent job, going above and beyond expectations. They handled unexpected issues that came up during the install. The electrical circuit was not set up properly in a few places, and they fixed it so they could finish installing the Heat Pump.

They did an extremely professional job. Not only did they install everything, they went out of their way to make it clean, organized and good looking.

I also have to mention, the technician they sent out to evaluate and help me pick my system did a fantastic job. He had a lot of personal and professional experience, and really helped me find the unit that was right for me.

Blaise was the technician who helped with my severe plumbing issues and installed the Halo 5 water filtration system. He was extremely courteous and informative.

Expensive. He did a good job.
He was late but after an call to their AI I received a call and updated TOA.
He told me a supervisor would contact me on Friday 10.10.25 between 12-1400 to go over possible re-lining of my 65 yo cast iron pipes. No call. No show. I to have a business I scheduled that time out. Since there was no show no call from John Stevenson plumbing on Elijah's visit I did not call them and talk to their AI to see why not. Disappointed needed those options

I had a drain blockage and as a Charlie’s Club member, John Stevenson Plumbing took care of my issue, no charge. Nay, the technician, was pleasant, polite and respectful. He and Armando, supervisor, team tackled my drain problem and successfully resolved the issue. Great job guys.

Evan and Alan did maintenance on my HVAC and Tankless water heater today. They worked very efficiently and confidently. I say again and again this is one of the best companies in North County. I know some people like to just do their work and leave. But not with John Stevenson guys. They don't seem to mind me asking questions and talking in general. Their explanations for every question showed they are well prepared and knowledgeable about what they do. John Stevenson has one of the best programs for educating their employees. Customer service is how I gauge a Great company! Yes, this business is still TOPSHELF in North County!!! I’ll pay for quality service which is not heard of these days!!!

Staff was accommodating over and above Ryan,Ty, Buddy and his support worked tirelessly repairing not only our plumbing from cast iron to new and better. Ryan mapped and constructed new ducting to the highest quality. The company is transitioning to a more automated system which I still am somewhat old school but, gotta adapt to the new times. Thank you to Matt and all who worked on this project. We highly recommend them for all your projects.

Poor service. We cancelled services in November-2024 and they never do cancel no matter how many times we call. The call from manager is promised, and it never happens. We are being charged for services that we decided to cancel. They are hoax company and extorting dollars. BEWARE BEFORE SIGNING UP. THEY ARE FISHY AND CHEATERS. They did not give me filters for my AC that they said they will do in service and used my filters. I am beyond frustrated and do not recommend them to anyone. So poor service, customer service and billing is a workaround.
