I had water leaking from my water heater and called Advanced Plumbing at 7:45 am on a Saturday morning. Within minutes I had an appointment and my serviceman arrived at 9:30 am. He was very friendly, explained everything well. The water heater, 22 years old had to be replaced. While he was working I overheard him instructing his apprentice about the right way to be doing certain things. I also had him replace my garbage disposal, which was installed by another company about 3 years ago and has never drained well. Before replacing the disposal he checked it to see if there was something that could be fixed rather than replace it, which I appreciate. He determined that there was a problem with the disposal so replaced it. This is the second time I have used Advanced Plumbing. I had called them before to fix problems that I ended up with after another plumbing company had come to do work.

I had to have all of the old cast iron Piping under my house in a crawl space from the Toilets, to the Main Drain Line, all the way to the City connect at the sidewalk rennovated. They even checked my Kitchen Sink line as well. They utilized modern processes and materials and the owner Bill and his staff were prompt and professional. Their communication and level of pride they took in their work provided a level of comfort to a very stressful situation. This is the 2nd time they've worked on my property within the past year and it will be hard to utilize anyone else but Advanced Plumbing for any of my future needs. I highly recommend Bill and his staff.

Our kitchen sink was clogged and water was coming back up. Bill returned my call at the start of the day and was very detailed with understanding our issue and layout. Once Max should the professional manner continued. Max was very thorough on explaining everything to me. He kept his working area very clean as if it was his own house. I would definitely recommend Advanced Plumbing!!

I had a leak that caused the ceiling to fall in. Advanced was responsive when calling for an appt and they were able to get me in to the schedule quickly. The plumber who worked on the job was professional, efficient and extremely communicative. He also gave me some info and feedback based on what he was seeing in the existing schema. I would use Advantage again in a heartbeat!!

Mixed Experience – Great Past Work, But Disappointed This Time
I’ve worked with Advanced Plumbing and Rooter Service before and had a great experience with a major trenchless sewer line replacement. That job was handled professionally, and I was very satisfied with the outcome and pricing.
Based on that, I called them again when I noticed a leak near the water meter. Bill responded promptly and scheduled a technician named Maxx to come out the next day. Maxx arrived on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and identified a faulty union joint and another small part that needed replacement.
However, I was shocked when the quote came in at $2,200 for what seemed like a relatively minor repair. To be sure, I contacted another licensed plumber who had done previous work for me, and their quote was significantly lower for the same job. I decided to cancel the work with Advanced Plumbing and Rooter Service.
Unfortunately, I was still charged $460.22 for the visit, which included:

$26 trip fee
$60 for parts
$125 service fee
$275 for a small digging effort

While I understand that diagnosis and travel shouldn't be free, this felt excessive for what amounted to a brief inspection and minor digging. It left me questioning the pricing practices in the plumbing industry, where homeowners often have little recourse or transparency.
I’m sharing this review not out of frustration, but to help others make informed decisions. Advanced Plumbing and Rooter Service has done excellent work for me in the past, but this recent experience was disappointing and felt overpriced.

They are the bomb!!! The don’t miss round they handle the problem!!! I recommend this company 150% I feel blessed now

My clogged line was snaked twice and my bathtub, which kept rising due to my clogged line, opened up and the water in the bathtub drained. I cleaned the bathtub with bleach. The bathtub got clogged again from just cleaning it. When I flush my toilet, the water bubbles up in the bathtub. Not a good sign.

Excellent work .. Done on time and on budget with a Made in America Bradford White water heater. José Soto is very thorough and detailed oriented and patiently earned my business and delivered excellent work installing a brand new Natural Gas water heater and hauling away the old one.

My water heater went down and Jose @ JVS plumbing came right away to replace the unit. Jose gave us good price and service was great. Will definitely will call JVS again when I have plumbing issue at home.

Jose and his team are excellent. We had a huge plumbing back up and he came with very short notice and very punctual!! He worked hard to get the clog out. Unfortunately we don’t have a main clean out so he had to give it a few attempts, from another clean out and then eventually through where the toilet sits. He even cleaned the floor under the toilet before putting it back! Excellent job and customer service!! Highly recommend!

When you communicate along with meeting a good person it is obvious. Then watching the work ethics unfold before my eyes resulting in positive results. Jose is #1 in my book as a plumber I more than highly recommend. Plus the price was less than I was expecting. How many times with unexpected destruction can one say that. Jose provided information as he went through the process of cleaning up & repairing broken water pipes under the house. Better than 5 Stars in my book.
