Jaime was very prompt and was able to give me an estimate same day. His price was fair, and he returned the next day to trim four of my trees. He did an excellent job and hauled away the cuttings.

I've been using Jaime's (Daniel) tree service for over 5 years now. I first used him to do a couple of trees at one of my rental properties - after describing how I wanted them cut he did an excellent job and I have used him since. I also recommended him to the board of my condominium association and they have also used him for a couple of years. He does an excellent job and if something is not to your liking he will fix it.

Daniel Jaime is the BEST! Our huge Willow tree became too heavy from all the rain over the last two days and split a major artery branch from the main trunk. It was being held up by some major electrical wires and our garage. I called Jaime’s Tree Service and Daniel the owner came right out! Not only did he come right away but he handled it all immediately! He attended to the wire emergency first, alleviated the strain on the garage and worked diligently before the heavy branch fell on our neighbors house! He was very safe and very thorough with the job. He cleaned up the area and hauled it all away within 2 hours of our emergency call! Not only was he the best but he also has the best prices in town! Such a gentleman and so professional, we will mos def use him again!!! Thank you Daniel!!!

My friend in Long Beach referred them to me when I had a bad experience with a "tree hacker" who came out and butchered one of my trees. CA Western Arborists came out to give me an estimate of pruning 3 trees, cleaning up some jasmine trellises and a rose arbor. I was happy with their quote, and made an appt for them to come to do the work.
The did a fantastic job, were careful in their work, and fully cleaned up everything afterward. I would highly recommend their services. I felt I got a real value for my money.

They've trimmed my trees for several years now and do an amazing job of shaping and trimming each time. I'd give them 5 stars for that...
But, this year it took them 1 week to return my first call requesting a quote and another week to send the quote and 2 more to get back to me after my OK'ing the quote. Then i was forced to withhold payment until they came back to finish cleaning up after the job was done. That took 2 more weeks.
So, awesome quality of trimming, poor front office and follow-through. A good value if you're willing to supervise closely and in you're not in hurry.

After we had our diseased avocado removed and the stump also removed, we feel much safer. Worried that the tree or branches would split and break off into our neighbors roof! Which we would become liable.

I went through Home Advisor and hired this company after receiving a fair estimate. The work was done exactly to my specifications. Since the project moved quickly I requested additional work.

I was very pleased with the prices and how clean my property was left. The supervisor asked me to check the work to make sure it was to my satisfaction...it was.

We called them to give us a quote and the gentleman said he would come over tomorrow or text him some pics, but he never called us back. I called him again and said they are booked, but he'll drive by again to check out the 6 palms but never returned my call.... so I end up hiring another tree service company and got it done the next day.

The sad thing is when I used them year after year, the son Jaime even told me to call them direct and not use Home Advisors and he would honor the price from last year (which was not cheap). Unfortunately when these companies are new and struggling, we gave them positive 5 star reviews and they tend to forget their older customer and stiff us this way. I understand they are busy sometimes but at least can give us a courteous call back and maintain the professionalism. Very unfortunate and what a bummer.

This company reneged on a $150 agreement to cut down the weeds in my Mom's backyard. Richard, the contractor came to her house and he agreed to have one of their workers. But they never showed up. What kind of company breaks a promise to do a specific job? Not very honest I have to admit. I wouldn't recommend this company at all, simply because they can't keep
a promise to do a certain job.

I went on line to see who was doing tree service in my area and the price, just before going to bed. About 7:30 am Abel called and woke me up saying he’d be there in a few minutes, by the time I got a cup of coffee he was at my door. By 10:30 my yard was full of men working on an overwhelming project. His crew were all respectful, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. By 3:30 they had my yard clear of trees and debri.
I was so delighted I hated to see them leave. I highly recommend Discount tree care for anyone needing quality tree service +. Thanks again guys 🥰👍🏼

I went on the internet looking for tree service. Discount Tree Care Arborist Inc, #1025257 was one of the companies that responded. Rafael came to give an estimate. I told Rafael where I wanted the tree cut to near a spot where a branch had been cut previously. He told me it would be a bulb after they finish, meaning the tree would be small. When I returned to review their work, I was surprised at how tall the tree still was and I texted Abel told him it was still too tall and sent pictures. Abel said what I was asking was minor. However, Rafael came back and told me it would cost $1000 in addition to the $2500 we already paid. I paid them the $2500 but should not have but Rafael would not budge. I had an appointment, am tired of hiring people and being disappointed so I paid them. Later, I texted Abel told him again the tree was still way too tall. He said he would meet me there. I went there but he never showed. I texted him I was going to file a complaint with agencies that protect senior citizens and disabled vets like me and my husband. I called once more & we finally met 12/15/22. Abel said it wouldn't be safe to cut the tree more, and would kill it, but he could cut 10 ft for $800. I told him this was unacceptable. If his worker had not told me I would have a bulb, meaning small, that it would cost $3500 for it, I would not have hired them. I told Abel we can agree to disagree. We shook hands and I said I will let someone else settle our differences. I think I was taken advantage of because I am an elderly female, and my husband is a senior also and too ill to be out. A neighbor gave me the number of a company that cut down 3 huge trees for him for $2900. In my opinion, Discount Trees shouldn't call themselves Discount trees. They cut the branches and extended foliage, but the tree is still 30 feet or taller.

I just wanted to take a second to 'commend' this business for their fast, efficient, professional and compassionate care of my two avocado trees and lemon tree.
Had a comprehensive 'quote' walk thru this week and they were there with their Team the very next morning...
Prompt, professional, VERY clean and thorough with the end result!
VERY HAPPY and will be using them for maintaining go forward.
They are very reasonable and will work with your needs.
Will definitely refer to my friends and co-workers for services, if needed!

My experience with this business began when I found them on Yelp where they had been given glowing reviews. As a retired senior it’s important and greatly appreciated when a company offers senior discounts - and a payment plan! Tree Care Arborist removed four trees, trimmed six others, and ground the stumps. They do a great job of cleaning up the area. I do not hesitate in giving them a high recommendation for their work and their professionalism!! Thanks guys!!!

They removed and trimmed trees, but did not totally remove the trunk as agreed. I realized this when I started digging to plant something and I hit the tree trunk that was supposed to be removed. I have been calling and texting them since Nov 23 and I one time they said they would come and remove the trunk after the holidays...they never did and have not responded to my calls and text. I showed them the agreement with my address and phone number and they have never responded!! Will never use there service again..

Have used this company a few times to trim my many palm trees. Had them remove all but 4 of the trees. Part of the agreement was to trim all the remaining trees. Back yard has several levels & damaged 2 of my walls without notifying me and did not trim the tree close to my house that had the leaves sitting on my roof. Took several calls to get them out to repair the walls & never trimmed the palm tree sitting on my roof. This company also made several verbal promises to get my business & never did it ( ex. Repair of my sprinklers in front yard). The trimmed trees were not done as completely as they had done previously. Incomplete work & destruction was overwhelming to me as a single woman expecting good professional work.
